Nicole gave me exactly what I had in mind and she took the time to really understand my hair goals. Her highlight blending is fantastic and growing my hair out between spaced out appointments didn’t feel like a stretch. She works really well with her assistant, the suite is clean, and they have everything in order. I drive from Raleigh for this nice experience.

Came in for a consultation on June 12th, scheduled my appointment for August 17th. She lets me know that a 50% deposit is required two weeks before my appointment. I call her on the 5th because I can’t find where I’m supposed to make the deposit and I also wanted to know if I could pay the full amount two weeks before my appointment and then pay for extra services/tip after my appointment. She doesn’t pick up, I don’t hear anything, I don’t get any emails, no texts, no calls, nothing. The 7th rolls around and i get an email saying my appointment has been cancelled. I also see I’ve gotten two texts, one from 2:14 that is literally the first response I’ve gotten back concerning my voicemail left on saturday , the second from 5:00 telling me that since i didn’t respond to their *one* text and *one* call in the span of less than three hours, they’ve cancelled my appointment. I’ve since reached out attempting to get my appointment back but this has honestly been without a doubt the worst experience with a hairdresser I’ve ever had. Extremely unprofessional and she wasted over two months of my time having me wait for a hair appointment she never intended on doing. Edit* I want to clarify not once was I reached out to via email. The only time I was emailed about my appointment was the confirmation email the day I made the appointment, and the email informing me my appointment had been cancelled. Not sure about the incorrect phone number as I can’t go back and look at what phone number was entered into the website but even when they did have my correct phone number they did not inform me where to make the deposit 😭 also I tried to resolve this over text and I definitely did give them time to work this out but obviously if your appointment is cancelled after very poor communication and no one responds to your texts attempting to resolve it for 17 hours you’re naturally going to assume there is no resolution to be reached.

She’s not only great with hair but on the customer service spectrum she is incomparable. She is dedicated and she always does her best to deliver. Absolutely 100% trust Nicole with my hair, no hesitations! She’s a curly girl herself (like me) and knows how to handle it. Not to mention her balayage/color skills are TOP notch - she’s received training from some of the best, big names in the color industry, which I really respect. I’ve never been disappointed and I’ve been seeing her for close to a decade now. She takes her time making sure to understand what you want, is very clear about what to expect in terms of giving you the look you want while still protecting your hair, and she delivers!! 12/10 recommend :)

I have been going to Nicole for about 5 years, there’s a reason why. She always delivers with 5 star service! She takes her time, always educates me on what products I should be using for my color and hair to stay healthy and strong for future visits🙌🏽 And the results are always amazing! I’ve done a lot of fashion colors, silver was my favorite! I’m back to my natural hair color (black) but I still go for my ritual hair cuts, style appointments and to purchase products. And will continue to book appointments for any style with Nicole 🫶🏽

I’ve been getting my hair done by Nicole for the past 6 years + , she is the best , the only one that touches my hair literally because she knows what she is doing and does beautiful balayage/, highlights . Nicole is AMAZING. I have been a client of hers for about 4ish years. I came to her with hair that had only seen kitchen scissors for years because of previous bad experiences. She worked her magic on me and I since then I’ve even ventured into red hair (something I would of never tried in a million years) but I trust her work and skills that I always feel comfortable to try anything. Nicole is AWESOME!!!! I had not had a haircut in over six years.. I was expecting to lose most of my hair, but Nicole was able to style my hair the way i wanted it, and now I feel like me again! Nikki has ALWAYS been professional, a sweetheart, and will make you feel so comfortable. On top of that, her hair skills are top notch. She specializes in balayage for DARK hair, which is unusual in the charlotte/lake Norman area. I have had balayage done on my dark hair by other “reputable” salons and the results were disastrous. Never with Nikki. Her work is consistently top tier. She works hard to keep her skills up by taking classes from some of the hair industry’s top educators, and her work reflects that.

So I decided to let a friend dye my hair. BIG mistake ladies lol. That’s okay though it’s how I found Nikki. 8 years or more later we can still laugh at that story. Nikki came to my rescue and I haven’t left her since. I always leave loving my hair! She always gives me her honest opinion on what she thinks would and wouldn’t look good on me. I get lots of compliments on my hair, my cut and highlights.

Through the recommendation of a wellness professional, I found Nicole on Instagram at first. I was super worried about having someone new do my hair, and I was looking for a change. I finally booked my appointment with her and had my first balayage/hair color after years of not having done anything to my hair! She was incredibly professional, very honest, funny and made the experience SO fun for me! Most people know it’s a lengthy process but time flew by. It’s clear that she knows her stuff, and her work is magic! So happy I found a stylist in the area, couldn’t recommend her more ♥️

Do yourself a favor and book an apt with Nicole!! Might be tough since it seems she’s forever booked up, but you know that’s when they are good. I know she’s famous for the balayage but I personally go to her because a.) She also knows how to deal with thick hair so well b.) She was able to achieve the nicest honey caramel natural highlights on my dark hair, I mean they look sooo nice and they give so much dimension to my hair. If you have dark hair like mine and looking to vamp it up or try something new, highly recommend!

I have known Nicole for almost 15 years, and I know her professionalism and passion for what she does. Every time I have needed a rescue for my hair, I find no one better than Nicole!. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a true professional in the care of your hair. I have personally seen the fabulous hairstyles, amazing hair dye, makeup, etc. Everything she does, she does well and with a lot of love. Her place is clean and well-kept. I am very punctual, and that is what I love about Nicole, she does not give you your appointment if she is not sure that she will attend you at the right time. If I could put more stars, I would.

Nicole completely saved my hair and brought my confidence back!!! I first came to Nicole with awfully highlighted YELLOW hair. She is amazing at what she does and turned my yellow hair into a gorgeous blonde ombré! Since I started going to her, I have received tons of compliments on my hair color and I feel so much more confident. I have never trusted a stylist as much as I trust her and I would follow her anywhere because, yes, she’s THAT good!! Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and professional at what she does, but she is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Nicole has been doing my hair for a year and I will never go anywhere else! I never leave the chair without getting exactly what I want. I went from dark box colored hair to a pretty blonde within a few sessions. I get compliments on my hair A LOT. She is great at what she does :)

Nikki has been doing my hair for 7 years, and I can’t imagine going to anyone else. Not only is her salon space beautifully decorated, perfect for taking Instagram or Snapchat pictures (especially with the giant window for natural light), but it creates such a warm and welcoming energy that matches her kind and uplifting personality. She is so passionate about helping each client have their most healthy and beautifully head of hair. Although she’s thoroughly trained and educated, she never stops learning more techniques that can benefit her clients, and it shows. Her prices are always justified, and adapts them to what was done in the salon visit. Her haircuts come out super straight (I tend to get bobs and lobs), and the her balayage is always blended beautifully; she made sure to use colors that complimented my skin tone which I really appreciated.
