Jeannie is just the best stylist I’ve had. She does amazing things with my tricky textured hair- she listens to and produces what I ask for and works with my hair’s good qualities to ensure it looks its best. I get compliments for weeks after a cut and I thought I had horrible unmanageable hair! She is also a kind soul and I come out of my appointment rejuvenated.

Jeanni is a great hair stylist. I'm in between hairstyles/cuts because I had an undercut previously. She listened to what I wanted for a now cut and how to cut and grow it out for the cut I want as my hair gets longer. She's super nice and the place was clean and in a great neighborhood with easy parking. Non-the-less...I've found my new hairdresser!

Jeannie at The Beauty Box is an amazing hairstylist that has done my cuts and highlights for several years now. She is always accommodating to my schedule and finds time to fit me in, even in short notice! At this point, my 3 daughters go to her, and my husband too! My oldest likes to do a split-dye and another started getting highlights.

I can't speak highly enough of this salon Beauty Box, Jeannie is the definition of perfection when it comes to haircuts and coloring. Jeannie is one of the best hairstylist out there. She is very professional, unpretentious and extremely accommodating with a unique vision that elevates her among other stylist. I have been going to her for over 20 years, and she always keeps it fun and new! I constantly get compliments as a result of her work. I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair!!

I went to Jeannie for a haircut and was open to getting extremely subtle highlights. She was very pushy in favor of me getting them, and I made it clear that I wanted the most miniscule and subtle highlights. Instead I walked out with wide stripes of bright blond at least half an inch thick. I look like a candy cane! Jeannie responded by telling me that I was just not used to it, and was extremely rude and pushy about my response. Eventually she "fixed" it with what turned out to be a temporary dye, which still looked much worse than when I came in. She told me to live with it for a few weeks and come back for a free fixif I still didn't like it. I made the mistake of trusting her. Just asked if she would fix it now after a few weeks, since I have confirmed I hate it. She will not help unless I purchase the service all over again! Jeannie charges more than average for WELL UNDER average quality service. My hair looks horrible. So disappointed.

Jeanni is amazing! After the first time I went to her, I knew I would never go to anyone else to get my hair done. I leave feeling in love with my hair every time she does it, it always turns out perfect and exactly how I wanted it. Aside from that, she’s also so incredibly sweet and has the kind of energy you’re just drawn to. I can’t say enough good things about her.

Jeannie is the sweetest person ever! She has such a big heart and is very good at her craft. I have been going to her for probably 6 years now, and she highlights and cuts my hair really well. My hair stylist that I absolutely loved moved out of state so I was trying out a new hairstylist, but I was very disappointed by this place. Not a great place to get your hair cut. The hairstylist talked down to me the whole time and everything I asked to get done she said “uh no you don’t want that I’ve been doing hair for years”. I understand she’s the expert but I have also been getting my hair done and I have some ideas of what I’d like as well. I made a comment that I wasn’t used to seeing it so short (bc it has been 2 years since my last real haircut) and she got offended and said “wow you really don’t like getting your hair cut”. No actually, I really love getting my hair done, but by a stylist who wants to understand how I feel about my hair and help me. I am huge on hair health so I wanted to get a deep conditioning and she had me at the sink for 10 seconds before taking me to the chair and proceeded to brush my hair extremely aggressively while it was wet (which I absolutely hate because I could literally hear it breaking). She kept yanking my hair so badly that I had a huge headache afterward, and I probably lost 1000 strands and it’s still breaking off 10 hours later. She also styled it with so much hairspray that it’s crunchy and feels gross. Honestly, if you’re younger, I wouldn’t recommend going here because it’s outdated. The stylist (Jeannie) will talk to you like you’re 5 years old and any opinions you have about your own hair are irrelevant because she will give the general treatment she’s been doing for 20+ years. I appreciate hairstylists who listen to you and try to work with you using their expertise - not use their knowledge to talk down to you and disregard your opinion.
