I've been coming here for years and I love Beauty Box! Service is exceptional. My hair and nails always look amazing. Everyone who works there is kind, professional, and invested in providing the best guest experience. 12/10 recommend.

how does my hair come out softer when I dye it with Katie?! I don’t understand!! the products they use are AMAZING and they are so good at what they do. Traveling all the way from boston because I can’t find anything like them! highly recommend!

We can’t say enough about the wonderful experiences that my husband and I have over the years visiting The Beauty Box! We both feel so relaxed and rejuvenated by the professional caring staff. When our son was married they made us look and feel like super stars! We HIGHLY recommend this salon for all your beauty needs. This salon is miles above the rest!

Haircut overall was ok, staff was friendly, however my hair washing experience was rough - I felt like a ragdoll being whipped around, my neck is still hurting the next day, I’m really sad to be posting this low rated review but I left in pain.

I love coming to the Beautybox. Anna was on of the first hair stylists to focus on natural hair for women of color and Black women specifically. She spent two years restoring my hair after it was over processed by another stylist. My hair has never been healthier and my curls pop!

I love the beauty box!! Anna, the owner, is so knowledgeable and professional. She uses all organic materials so there are no harsh chemicals going onto your hair or body.

Only place I’ve found where the stylist is really a master of her craft. I came to her a few times initially, but bc I live so far away I tried a few other salons. No one took the time and care for my hair as AnnaMarie did. If you’re picky and want that custom quality cut and style, she’s definitely worth the extra miles. Also enjoyed an amazing pedicure from Katie while there. This is the coolest little salon spa around. A vibe of its own. Love the staff and this shop!

What a wonderful salon. I got lost on the way there; arrived late and was in a panic. The staff was calming and made me feel at ease. AnnaMarie cut my hair and I absolutely love the cut and style. I will be back again.

I cannot express how wonderful my experience was with CeCe and the rest of the staff! I found the salon on Google as I was looking for a new nail technician. They only had time for a gel manicure as there were other clients scheduled - but I’ll definitely come back. My husband and I are vegan so I really appreciate the salon’s dedication to natural and organic sources. CeCe was super considerate and a great conversationalist. She did not use a drill taking off my prior gel set by hand. She was gentle, efficient and well-skilled. The ladies have been in this location for 6 years. My only regret is that I didn’t find them sooner! Highly recommended and they also offer hair and facial services.

I love this Salon. I grew accustomed to sugaring back in Portland and struggled to find affordable sugaring here in Columbus. Katie is phenomenal, accommodating, and a master of her crafts.

I was so excited to check this place out originally and try somewhere different than I usually do. I went in with a picture for a balayage and cut. The woman I had was super sweet, her name was Katie. She was really sweet, but she really ruined my hair. She appeared to not really know what she was doing. It seemed to take a much longer time than it normally does, but I thought it was because it was much blonder than I normally go. Another woman (AnnaMarie) kept coming by to look at her work and gave Katie a look, I was wondering the whole time what the several looks were about, but I was so excited about the new style that I kind of ignored it. So, long story short I am extremely dissatisfied. I didn't notice how bad it really was until I got home and I cried. My hair was orange and yellow in tone. The balayage was splotchy and looked horrible. I am devastated, my hair is completely botched and pretty unfixable. Even the cut was completely uneven and choppy. I went back for a refund and was instantly given a hard time, the owner was immediately rude and dismissing. Katie came over to talk to me as the owner, basically told her to go away that she would handle it. The owner, AnnaMarie, was huffing the whole time while talking to me and my boyfriend. To say this woman was rude is an understatement, I was shocked to find out she was the owner. She was cutting someone's hair and told me she would give me a refund later. I told her I wanted it now with the receipt. I paid almost $200 for the "balayage", cut, toner and gave a $30 tip. I finally got my refund as AnnaMarie literally shooed my boyfriend and I out of the building with her hands. I did not want to cause a scene, I was still nice despite being distraught. I was just extremely upset and wanted my money back to go somewhere where the people actually knew what they were doing. AnnaMarie was rude to me the whole time saying she could fix it and that it "didn't look that bad". I asked her if she would want to walk around with this and she said nothing. I've never been this embarrassed in my life and I've honestly never had service like this before. I'm shocked. Everything about my hair is botched. I loved my hair before and now it is completely ruined. The last image is what my hair looked like about a week before having my hair done here. I'm devastated and never received the tip I gave back. AnnaMarie was the most unprofessional business owner I have ever encountered. Do not go here, save your money and go somewhere where the people actually appreciate and respect their customers. Just for clarification, the first 3 pictures were AFTER I went here, the 4th picture is what my hair looked like BEFORE.

My friend and I were in from out of town trying to get pedicures before a concert. Every other nearby place was booked but the Beauty Bar was able to fit us in for two pedis. Katie did a great job. Nice organic products, relaxing foot massage and fun conversation with the very friendly girls. Polish looks terrific. Would definitely come back here next time I'm in Columbus.

This is one of the very few places that offers eyebrow sugaring which is the best option for eyebrows given the lack of side effects and the length of time needed between sessions. The first time I went Katie was wonderful and listened to my needs. She set the music on and let me relax into an almost meditative state while she quietly worked her magic, it was virtually pain free and my eyebrows were even and beautiful. However the second time there was a student talking in the room constantly and I felt like I was being pushed through without much attention. I expressed that I wanted my brows thinner and it was only after having left I noticed my brows had a nick from accidentally taking too much of my brow off. I have attached photos. The reason I am leaving a 4 star review is because the owner personally called me to apologize, as did Katie. She listened to my grievances and dealt with me honestly. I would definitely give this salon a try - it’s local and they are honest. They will own up to a mistake and treat you with respect.

It was a great experience! I love that the products they use are organic and cleaner than typical products used at salons. I came in for a spa pedicure- it looks great and my feet feel amazing! Cece really did a wonderful job with my poor pandemic feet. I even booked an appointment for next weekend for a spa manicure. The salon was clean, staff is friendly, and I will recommend others to the salon in the future. It does seem a little pricy but it's a small price to pay, in the grand scheme of things since the products used are better for you. Looking forward to my next visit ☺️

I’ve been going to The Beauty Box since they opened in 2016 and have always found them to be kind and professional and fabulous at what they do! I’m sure you can’t please everyone but I’ve never had anything but great experiences with this organic, woman owned, small business.

I loved my pedi and facial! Kate did a great job! Relaxed vibe. I enjoyed the foot massage. I also love the product line and purchased a couple of things including AnnaMarie's sugar scrub. I am not a fan of the super-spas with their hectic atmospheres and stressed out employees. I much prefer individually owned, small businesses with great custoner service. I am not sure about the folks who posted negative reviews! Pls ignore these. Instead, enjoy this fully organic experience in a non-rushed, authentic atmosphere. I only wish I had not moved away before partaking! At least I got to go before my visit ended. 😊

Cece provided excellent service before, during & after my pedicure. In addition to her wisdom in this industry, her ability to communicate the high standards that are consistently kept - made me feel so safe & open to referring my friends & family to this space!
