Tamia did an amazing job on my nails. I brought in a complicated 3D design and she absolutely slayed it. I just got my nails done and I already had people compliment them. She was also very friendly and personable. I’m definitely coming back!

I recently got a Curly Cut from their resident hair specialist Stephanie. As a person with textured hair It can be difficult to know what I want from my own hair. Yet Stephanie was able to guide me through the process with her wealth of knowledge on how to cut/style/manage my curls. Not only did she cut, but she also hand washed, deep conditioned, steamed and styled my hair using products appropriate for my needs. I left Beauty Cave not only with an expert cut, but also a better understanding of how to treat my own hair in between cuts for optimal and easily wearable results. Very pleased with my choice to come here.

Amazing! Book Stephanie!!!! She is amazing and actually cares about your hair and works with you to achieve the look you want and still maintain your hair health. I visited twice and both times Stephanie took care of my hair. I went in for a silk press that ended up being a cut because my ends were miserable. I signed up for a consultation, and let me tell you she knows exactly what she is doing and her recommendations are 5 stars!!! The second time I went was to get a sew in, and it was my first time so I was scared. She was super helpful and communicated super well. From picking the hair color, to matching it and making sure it suits my skin tone. Just really amazing and she did an amazing job (check the bad quality images lol). Overall, I’m so happy with the service I got and I am already looking forward to having my next appointment.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time- to give every single woman in here a huge shout out for their exemplary work. I’m usually very picky about who I let do my hair/nails/lashes/ any beauty or self care appointment. But here I’ve gotten comfortable going to just about anyone, knowing I’ll be in good hands. I’ve gotten my hair done by Ketia, Taaliyah, Stephanie, Steph K, Charmaine, and counting, and honestly everyone of these ladies including the owner are incredibly skilled, kind, and knowledgeable. They give great tips on protecting and caring for my natural hair and I’ve been so happy from my hair each time I leave there. Love this place!

Overall amazing first time experience in this Salon. Ive never has a silk press done before and this salon became highly recommended on tiktok and I’m glad i booked when i did. They wasted no time seating me on the washer and dryer and Mika and stylist was very professional throughout the whole process. I appreciate the tips she gave me to maintain my press and will definitely book again in the future!!!

This salon was the perfect choice for my daughter’s first ever silk press. The service was excellent. They were extremely gentle with my tender-headed baby who absolutely felt like and was treated like a princess from start to finish. Thank you to Najee and team for making this such a positive and memorable experience for my daughter!

Ketia is an absolute professional who really knows what she’s doing. I really loved the cut & style she gave me! I was really anxious about getting heat damage and she was so understanding. She’s also so freaking friendly & definitely brings good vibes. My hair did revert back like she said it would lol 🙌🏾 10/10 experience

I recently got a silk press + deep conditioner (wash included) for $100 with Stephanie and loved my experience! The studio itself is gorgeous and spacious. Stephanie was attentive to me from the moment I walked in and continued to check in with me throughout. I was in and out in around 2 hours, and my silk press was gorgeous. It lasted about 2 weeks (I typically wear my hair curly) and when I washed it I had absolutely no heat damage. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I’ve been going to the Beauty Cave Salon for the past two years, precisely for my silk press or just regular trims. It’s always great service! Today, Stephanie was my hairdresser. I wanted the ultimate silk press - stream treatment package. I got that and more ! Stephanie is very knowledgeable and her consultation throughout each step was reassuring. I left the place with a big smile and received tons of compliments during my commute home!

Stephanie was the absolute best. My daughter and I both have had the pleasure of her caring for our hair. We really appreciated her professionalism and knowledge about our hair. It feels comfortable and relaxing dealing with someone who is humble and relatable while getting your hair done. I will definitely continue to come back the service was great.

Before making an appointment I called spoke with the receptionist explained go her that I wanted a professional hair cut she recommended the one who was most experienced. If she's yall most experienced worker all I received was a basic cut.No one in this shop is top notch they do basic hair cuts /styles. This was my last time giving them any of my money.

I recently went to visit my hairstylist Jay, only to find out he longer works at this salon. The staff’s attitude was disappointing, and overall unwelcoming. I’m actually glad he no longer works there because I’ve always felt judged by other stylists especially when my hair was finished and looked fantastic afterwards. This place definitely needs a refresh- both in talent and atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend it, especially now, after seeing how the owner responds to criticism. Save your money and find a more positive experience elsewhere.

My mom made an appointment for me to get a wash and go. When she brought me inside the salon she gave my name and mentioned yet again it was for a wash and go. Everything went fine up until after the steam treatment. The stylist starting doing coils in my hair. When I left the salon my roots were puffy and looked like I was given starter locks. She called and spoke with the owner immediately after and was told that I was given a free style upgrade. I had an event to go to and my hair was far from styled. When she called this week to cancel my next appointment which was for a silk press, she explained the reason why she was canceling and the person on the phone didn’t seem to care or apologize for the bad experience.

This was my first time coming to the salon getting a sew in by a stylist named jay he was extremely disrespectful and very nasty to me and my mother on top of that he was late and had a horrible attitude. When he finished my hair i told him respectfully that I didn't like my hair to which he responds he can't take it out which was fine I asked him could I come back so he could take it out and he said yes on Thursday. He also told me I could pay halfprice which I did. Then as me and my mother are walking out the store a women chases us down the block telling me and my mother that I had to pay full price even though a few minutes ago jay told me I could pay half. This Women harasses me and my mother to pay the full price which we did go back and do. A few minutes later I received a text message from stylist Jay asking me to not return to the store to have him remove my sew in since I wanted to "play" games with him. Please think twice about spending your money here especially with juicedbyjay he is very unprofessional and doesn’t know how to take criticism or arrive on time . If I could rate 0 stars I would.

The Beauty Cave was an AMAZING experience. This was the first time I have ever been in the salon to get my hair straightened and trimmed. I have literally NO complaints at all. Britney was so gentle from the beginning and I didn't have to ask her to do so. She was so patient with my hair and I have 4c hair so I was a bit nervous but she was great with handling my hair. I'm Muslim and they accommodated me so well. It felt great to go into a space being completely comfortable in my identity and be supported by such beautiful women. The place is also decorated very beautifully and everyone in the store was very kind. I'd recommend this place to anyone with natural hair who's looking for a salon. 10/10.

I recently visited Beauty Cave for a hair dye, silk press, and deep conditioning treatment, totaling $185. While the staff and ambiance were pleasant, my experience fell short of expectations. My appointment scheduled for 1 pm didn’t begin until nearly 2 pm, which was inconvenient. During the service, the hair dye application was messy, dripping down the sides of my face. The silk press was more like a basic flat ironing, and the technique used felt damaging to my hair. Despite the positives of a clean and spacious environment and a friendly receptionist, the quality of service for the treatments I received left much to be desired.

I recommend The Beauty Cave for anyone who is looking for Great Service. I had an appointment for 12:00 pm, I walked in approximately 11:30 am. The process started immediately. Washed and steamed, hair blown dried, Silk Press, and trim. All of this took about an hour. OMG!!! I was so amazed with the Stylist and my hair. I will definitely make future visits at The Beauty Cave. Thank you so much!!!!

I called today and they were able to fit me in right away. Icis did a great job washing/conditioning my hair & ketia was amazing through the silk press process. She was so gentle and made me feel at ease. Great experience as a first time customer. Thank you ladies!!!

I got a silk press w a trim done. Customer service was ehhhh. Hair stylist seemed over it and barely spoke to me or gave hair tips (told her it’s my 1st press in over 8 years). But the wash/steam and trim was good. The silk press however wasn’t. My hair came out dull looking and even child-like with the little bump she gave me. Super unflattering on me, but it could be bc I’m used to my 4c hair being in a natural state. With that said, I do wish they had more natural hair services. I would go back if they had wash & go’s etc, bc the wash and trim I got was good. Pros are that it’s only $100 for the silk press services and around the corner there’s an amazing tres leches cake shop lol🤷🏾‍♀️

I ABSOLUTELY love this special gem. The Beauty Cave has literally transformed my disdain for my natural hair into love and passion and acceptance of my God given Crown. The staff is PROFESSIONAL. This is NOT your average Black Owned Salon. I dislike to mention race but I think it is a misconcenception that Black Owned Salons are not worthy, skilled, knowledgeable or proficient in hair care. I am here to dispel this and let you know that The Beauty Cave stylist are masters of their craft. The owner Najee is a wonderful person and it is obvious when you enter the salon that not only does she care about her establishment (CLEAN, chic, cozy, great positive atmosphere, amazing music), but she also cherishes her employees. Britney, Ketia, Kelli, Stephanee, Taaliyah and Vonzell just to name a few are Superb. They do their job and they do it WELL. I love their work ethic. It is all about the client. The employees are all business but also personable which is very hard for a lot of Stylist to exhibit. The stylists mentioned above know how to maintain the "thin" line between working and "fraternizing." Meaning, that they play great music, give great advice about haircare but what they are not doing is taking breaks to eat or sit around and gossip (which has turned me off from other salons). The staff takes care of their personal business when they deem fit; Not when they are in the middle of doing my hair. The techniques used makes it feel like I'm having a spa day. I have natural 4c hair and when I receive my hair treatment from any of the employees mentioned above it is so soothing. I do not feel or hear them ripping the comb through my hair. I have all of my children attending as well. My 7 year old daughter was afraid and hesitant when I first took her but after her initial visit for a silk press she said "Mommy I didn't feel any pain. It was like Ketia was not touching my hair." In response I said, "I told you now you see why I love it here." Now, my 13 year old who was afraid due to past horrific experiences HAPPILY attends the salon. We will continue to come. They beg me to make their next appointment before we leave the salon. Najee you have a great business keep up the great work. Btw, Britney has an excellent suggestion about selling braid hair , extensions, etc. Please take into consideration because for people like myself i am not fond of the type of hair I should purchase if I want a ponytail or quick weave (options I would love to explore in future). I can clearly keep going on about the wonderfulness of this place but ladies and gents go and experience for yourselves.
