Had such an amazing experience at the beauty coven! Rosa went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire service. The space is super cute and parking was a breeze. 1000/10, highly recommend.

Rosa is simply AMAZING. She creates a comfortable, safe, non-judgemental environment during such a usually uncomfortable experience! I’ve been getting waxed at the Beauty Coven for 2+ years and she is highly skilled and quick at what she does. She gives you expert advice on ingrown hairs and makes the experience absolutely bearable too. When you get used to it- It’s almost even relaxing! I think you can only get there if it’s with someone with the skills she has. If you’re looking for a solid waxer, your search is over! She’s your person.

Rosa is the absolute best! I got my first ever wax with her and she made me feel safe and made sure I was also comfortable the whole time. She’s kind and patient but sad that she no longer works in Seattle :( . I highly recommend her to anyone who’s interested in her services!!

I got my brows and lip waxed by Rosa and she was amazing! I haven’t had my brows done in over 2yrs, she made the process fast and as painless as she could. I rebooked cause finding a good brow tech is hard but if you’re in Portland/Vancouver/Beaverton definitely check her out!

Ive been going to Rosa for the last year+, and was so excited she also moved from Seattle to Portland! I had spent about a year in Seattle trying to find my wax person, and on my first visit, Rosa made me feel so comfortable, and did a great job, that I wouldn’t consider anyone else. I’ve trusted Rosa with my brows since 2020 and I couldn’t even dream about going somewhere else! I get a regular wax and tint every 4-6 weeks and, when I am feeling fancy, get a Brow Lamination done. I’ve trusted her to get me prepped for weddings, birthday trips, and other special events like concerts! Every appointment feels like a girly catch-up, as Rosa creates such a welcoming and safe place!

Rosa has waxed me for years! After six years away in Seattle, she’s finally back in Portland and I couldn’t be more grateful to have The Beauty Coven close by! Her location is rad, right there in the Zipper building on NE Sandy. I headed over after work and grabbed some food next door while I waited for my appointment. Incredibly convenient! Rosa’s waxing style is quick and caring. The room is super clean and organized and she offers very fancy wipes to freshen up with when you arrive. My waxes from her some how hurt less and last longer? Don’t know what that magic is about, but all of that to say, I really can’t recommend her enough.

Rosa is the best and I am now her customer for life. I have never had anyone be able to wax my hair type/ pattern my hair grows in so smoothly. I’m talking bald bald. Rosa is funny and personable and feels like an old friend. I feel safe with her and I know I’m going to get top of the line service. Plus, the bundle prices are hard to beat!

Rosa/The Beauty Coven was my very first experience for a Brazilian. I was always too scared to get one. One because I thought it would be very painful and two I've been places where they make you feel uncomfortable just to get your armpits waxed but that was not the case with Rosa!! She made me feel the most comfortable that I refuse to go anywhere else!!! She always has a positive attitude and great vibes in her shop! The Beauty Coven is the only place you should go for your waxing needs. Rosa is amazing. She takes the time to listen to your wants and then delivers them to you. She’s friendly, professional, and fun. Waxing is usually a pain but not at The Beauty Coven. Oh and if you are a Bravoholic or a Swiftie be sure to mention to all to Rosa!
