I met Carly through Sabrina Peters of J29 Events in Portland, Oregon. I'm not someone who wears a ton of makeup on the daily, so the looks I pinned to my Pinterest board for my wedding day look were more on the natural-looking side, but with a hint of moody-yet-romantic elevated elegance. I'm very Type A personality-wise, so I made sure to be very thorough in all of the detailed questionnaires Carly sent me prior to my makeup trial, as well as after with my constructive critiques on my overall look. There were only a few slight tweaks that needed to be made, and she was very amenable to the changes I suggested. She even gave me a GREAT recommendation for an esthetician! She hired a great crew of ladies to help me and five bridesmaids and two moms look wedding-ready on the day, and sent me off with some additional lipstick in case it wore off during the day. Needless to say, happy tears were shed after the entire look was complete, and they continued throughout the ceremony and celebration. My hair and makeup stayed put, and I have the pictures to prove it ;) While I'm sad to have been her last Portland client, I am also so honored that we got to work together. Thank you so much, Carly!

Carly is AMAZING and a miracle worker when it came to my brows. I first went to her after a horrible experience with a different waxer who made my eyebrows WAY too thin. After letting them grow in, I was super nervous to try someone new again but going to Carly was the best decision I could have made. I'll never go to anyone other than Carly for my brows again!

Carly. This gem. We have worked countless times with Carly both personally for our own business needs and on many weddings and she is one talented woman! From her attention to detail with timelines, listening to a client's requests and being such a positive light on physical wedding days, I highly recommend pursuing her for any of your makeup needs!

I am so happy I went with Kiss and Makeup for my wedding! Carly did such a fabulous job and I absolutely loved my makeup. I had my trial on the same day as my engagement photos which worked really well because I was able to see how the makeup photographed - I would recommend this to everyone! While I loved how the makeup photographed, I didn't feel super comfortable in-person - I'm not used to wearing so much foundation and eye makeup! Carly and I discussed the subtle changes for the wedding day and she completely understood what I was going for. Not only did my makeup (and bridesmaids) look flawless, but Carly is such a sweetheart and fun to work with. Highly recommend booking her for your wedding or other special occasion!

I feel incredibly fortunate that I was able to have Carly do my makeup for my wedding in July of 2018. Carly was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She reviewed my inspiration photos before we met, listened to my hopes/needs at our trial, and went above and beyond on my wedding day to ensure everything was perfect. She has a calm, patient, positive presence and was a joy to have on site for my wedding. She made me and my bridesmaids feel beautiful and I can't thank her enough!! I will be using her for all of my makeup needs in the future!

Carly is a true artist!!! I loved my wedding makeup that she did and never felt more beautiful in my life! I wish she could do my makeup every day! She is also a very fun person and easy to work with! Her communication is amazing and I always felt at ease with her during the entire wedding planning process. Highly recommend her!
