I've been coming to this nail salon for over 4 years, and I always leave happy with the results. They can get busy on Fridays and Saturdays, so I recommend scheduling early in the morning or later in the evening to avoid the rush. While they sometimes run a little behind, the quality of their work is always worth the wait. On the rare occasions when I've had issues, (2 times) like polish peeling, they've always been quick to fix it. One time, I couldn't make it in due to a trip, and when I came back for a refill, they gave me a discount, which was really appreciated. The staff is honest, hardworking, and genuinely cares about their customers. I highly recommend this place!

I won’t be going back. I went in for Apres Gel X Nails — $75 for just solid color. The manicure was very rushed, there was no care taken on any detail — even the primer was randomly swiped on the nail instead of coating it all. When she placed the tips on, they were pointing every which way, some were not at all straight. The filing was bad — nails were all different lengths. The color application was blotchy and clumpy on the nail. No attention to detail. Nothing about the manicure came out how I hoped, and I didn’t even have high expectations!

I went to my favorite spot again and was lucky enough to have my nails and design done by Phan today . Christy and Phan are amazing . Perfect design every time. Jennifer is also great as well. You can’t go wrong with this place they are super nice and treat you so well. And they have snacks! They are the best nail salon I have been too and just an amazing overall experience .

Truly terrible experience. Nails all different sizes and shapes had to have the service redone which was also done poorly. Didn’t even bother to have pedicure redone. Nice people. Sad to be writing review.

I’m super disappointed, I came here to get a hard gel fill and not only did they entirely remove the polish I had before and AGGRESSIVELY file my bare nails it’s by far the thinnest, weakest gel I’ve ever had on my nails. A majority of my nails broke, cracked and chipped within 4 days of getting them done. I’ve been getting hard gel fill manicures at other salons for the last two years and they always last a month, this didn’t even last a week. Waste of money & it completely destroyed my nails. Do yourself a favor and don’t come here.

Quality service! Highly recommend for gel x extensions, however would advise booking in advance because they can get busy and as a result might try to rush through your service.

Been coming here every 3 weeks since January and I am always very happy with the service. The attention to detail is unmatched! Will continue to go here for as long as I live in the Marina.

I had a fabulous time at this newer looking salon, had a hard gel manicure and a gel pedicure. I was in heaven the person next to me was getting the cutest design too. Maybe next time I will venture. Into the design land lol This is definitely the coolest salon I’ve ever been to!

I had a great visit last week it was my second time at this salon. Besides the great snacks and drinks I had a great manicure and Pedi. I got hard gel with a detailed design . I usually do chrome but tried something new. I was amazed at the results this is definitely my go to salon! I highly recommend for gel , hard gel, gel x , and any other service you desire!

I was able to go with a short notice, they were quick and the ambiance is super nice and relaxing. My nails are really short but they had no problem working with them. They were gentle and made sure I was pleased with length, shape, colors and design.

I'm sad to have to be writing this review. This was my third time coming to the salon. The first time, I received a hard gel manicure but the hard gel had a bunch of tiny bubbles in it, so they allowed me to come back to fix it for free, which was great. The last time I went was today. I went in for a "hard gel fill." The process had nothing to do with filling. They completely took off my old hard gel, every single layer. The nail tech roughly sanded my nails down to a very thin layer, so much so that my nails were in so much pain and I had to keep pulling my nail away so she wouldn't keep hurting me. The entire layer of hard gel was completely removed, down to the nail bed. Then, as a result of her filing my nails down so thinly, when my nails were cured in the UV light, they burned so much that it felt like a lit match was being held up to them. I asked her if it's normal for it to be burning so much, and another nail tech was sitting next to us. They both said nothing. I was in so much pain that I was sweating. It was too late to turn back at that point. I am devastated that my nails are absolutely ruined. They are so thin that it hurts to type this, and my nails are still burning 4 hours later. I'm at such a loss. I don't recommend this place one bit. The polish looks great, but I don't even care about that. My nails are the thinnest they have ever been. If the hard gel had been filled in, like I had made an appointment for, this would not have happened. Do not come here.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. THEY OFFER 15% OFF IF YOU WRITE REVIEWS SO DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE. My roommate and I went to this location after finding them on TIK TOK. Initially all seemed well. We called and made an appoint for 2 people with dip and the jelly pedi 6 step. We arrive and we are taken to the pedi chairs and 2 older women did our pedicures. First of all I don't believe they were licensed to do nails from the way the process went and I also feel they didnt know what they were doing. The lady doing my feet removed my gel polish and made my toe nails so thin i said something to her about continuing to file the polish off. Then my roomate got white polish on her toes. Her lady couldn't even polish the correctly so my lady had to do her polish. So then to our nails, we soaked the dip off and the people were adamant about getting the hard gel which felt like they didnt want to do the DIP because BBOOYYYY did they press us out. We give in and get the hard gel. Well the lady Pham(not sure the spelling) was now doing my friends nails, she clearly had the most experience. She ended up with her because the lady who initially was doing my pedicure had to polish her toes was not able to do the hard gel. So what does this mean I get the lady doing my nails that couldnt even polish. Long story short. I leave the salon my friends nails look great and they last. I didnt notice until we got home that my nails were not uniform in smoothness and were very thing (WHICH MAKES SINCE AS TO WHY IT WAS HURTING WHEN THEY CURED THE HARD GELL) that lady didnt put enought. Fast forward to the weekend before geting my nails done, 2 nails broke because it was so thin. Then i go to the beach and was in salt water. THE BUILDER GEL STARTED PEELING OFF LIKE REGULAR NAIL POLISH. NEVER AGAIN

For a $120 manicure I would’ve hoped that it lasted longer than a week. I’ve had 3 nails break since getting them done less than 2 weeks ago and almost every nail the top coat is peeling off.

I have heard wonderful things about The Beauty Shop and their amazing nail art. I went today for a pedi and gel mani and was sadly disappointed. The shop itself could just a good cleaning, as I wiped down my own pedi chair from the last client. My pedicure was as expected and the highlight was the hot stone massage. Unfortunately it went down hill from there. During my gel manicure I was expecting my cuticles to be trimmed and cleaned and my nails to be shaped. While there was some cuticle clean up, I left with many hangnails. I felt the service was more aligned with an express service then complete service. The application of polish was less than average with polish flooding my cuticle bed and under my nails themselves. Overall application was not at all smooth and lacked basic attention to detail. The shop only charged me half price for the manicure and suggested I communicate with the technician regarding my concerns. I sincerely appreciated the discount, but personally prefer services where I do not need to instruct the tech. I did book the appointment on line, and while it said it would take an hour total, I spent and hour and a half for a no polish pedi and poorly executed gel manicure.

I do not like leaving bad reviews, but I recently came here for a gel fill and nail art and am so disappointed in the quality that I decided to leave a review. The women at the nail salon were all very nice, but I felt that my service was rushed and not given the best attention or quality work. There were other clients in the salon who were getting their nails done when I arrived and still being worked on when I left after my appointment and who appeared to be getting the same service as myself. Not sure why I wasn’t given the same level of service and attention to detail as I had hoped to make this salon my new regular one. Not even a week later, and my nails, from a hard gel fill, are chipping and peeling. It appears the nail polish didn’t even cover my entire nail, which is something basic I would expect to be done when paying $80+ for a service. I’m very disappointed and I won’t be back for a service, unfortunately. So the search continues for a new nail salon.

I’ve been going here for my nails for a very long time. At least a year. I had to cancel ( this is my first cancellation/reschedule since I’ve been going there) as I’m in the ER due to an emergency and the receptionist didn’t waive the cancellation fees and had no empathy whatsoever. He actually mentioned “oh yeah you’re gonna talk to someone else about that, you have to pay the fees”. I love this place and the service has always been great but i won’t go back again.

Amazing!!! Love this place. I was visiting from out of town and my local friend took me here. Had a few photo suggestions for nail art and was blown away!!! Lovely people. The nails lasted so long!!! I’m so happy and wish they were on the east coast so I could go every time. 😍

Clean and professional with very kind workers! I got gel x, and it was well done. They were so sweet and one of the few shops that have offered & brought me water/tea while waiting and during the service!!! It’s a great shop and I’m excited to come back next time.

I went to The Beauty Lounge to get my nails done and of course a pedicure too! The place was very nice and the service was incredible. They offer great designs as well and have very nice pedicure chairs that were so relaxing. I did not want to leave as the relaxing experience was exactly what I needed. Thank you for taking such good care of me!
