I have visited this salon probably 7 times intermittently each time having the same experience.. lifting and peeling. I have had pedicures, gel manicures, dip full set, arylic full sets. Everytime I've experienced the same out come with their services. My nails lift and either peel off or lift off depending on the service. I have been regularly getting my nails done professionally for years, and never experienced this repetitively. The last time I was there in the span of 25 minutes, 3 women came in with broken nails...this is what happens when you don't prep the nails correctly. I feel like they are intentionally telling their techs to skip a step in the prep, making sure you come back sooner to get your nails done. Just a theory 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I've been to a lot of salons and never had this problem everytime with every nail tech I've had...so it's not just one tech not prepping correctly. It's everyone. There are so many nail salons in Mt Dora, I'd just go somewhere else and save your money. The only reason I even revisited their salon was I liked that they had an actual price list, and didn't just make up prices as they go along like some salons. And I optimisticly thought I'd have a better experience...but after this last time when I got arylic fullset that pretty much immediately started to lift, and I was able to literally pop off the nails less then 1.5 weeks after getting them done, I'm just done with giving this salon a chance.

The service was okay. It wasn’t good or terrible. I wasn’t offered a beverage, the guy didn’t give much massage and I paid for a paraffin pedicure. It’s safe to say I won’t be back. I’ll stick to my usual spot at “Uptown Nails”.

*Attention Board of Health* I thought I would try this salon because of its name, but I had a disturbing experience. My nail tech picked up my finger as if he was going to dip my nail in powder but instead started to scratch his arm with my nail. I pulled my finger away and said “what are you doing. This is gross and unsanitary” He kind of chuckled and didn’t apologize. I will never go back there! By the way, they are more expensive but not any better than other nail salons.

NOTHING BEST ABOUT THIS PLACE. OVER PRICED PEDICURES FOR THE WORST EVER!! DO NOT LET ERIC TOUCH YOUR FEET OR HANDS U WILL REGRET IT. PAID $40 AND WAS TOLD TO GET A HIGHER PACKAGE IF I WANTED HIM TO REMOVE DEAD SKIN AROUND MY BIG TOE. OVER PRICED HORRIBLE SERVICE DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Never go here! Nails were cut too short after I okayed a longer length. She messed up my eyebrow waxing and made one too short. Shape was not what I wanted after I picked out a specific one and showed her. All of the technicians kept trying to upsell the gel to customers that weren't even their own, it got very annoying because thats all I kept hearing. There are so many salons to choose from in this area, even one in the same shopping center, so please do not go to this one!

These are what my nails looked like 2 days after paying over $100. Also when I had them removed it looked an awful lot like they used MMA, which is illegal

I get an acrylic overlay, and I will not go with anyone else but Lisa. She has excellent attention to detail and has always done a fantastic job with my nails.

Went in for a gel pedicure and full set dip. My pedicure was good up until the color. The tech made sure to mention at least 3 times how small my toe nails are and then proceeded to use that as an excuse for the gel looking like it did. Then to my dip full set, I have smaller than normal adult finger nails, but she made sure to mention it every time I said something or use that excuse for everything! Including why my acrylic nails are crooked and not evenly shaped. I repeatedly asked her to fix their shape. She would barely put any pressure while shaping. I told her a nail was completely crooked and instead of removing and fixing it, she left it. We went back and forth about which nail needed what. In the end she still kept saying it's my nails conditions is why they are messed up oh and that I kept mentioning to her the issues, that I should have waited till the end and there would have been no issues. I read great reviews on Facebook about this salon, but I'm guessing I got the one not so great techs. These pictures are less than 24hrs after.

Great experience and very friendly staff. Helen did an amazing job and helped me pick out what I wanted to do for my pedicure. Tracy was a rockstar and did a fantastic job at my nails. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

I have been looking for a clean and reliable salon after having my Pinki nail partially removed from another salon. The finished product is not what I had asked for, and not even a week later they are breaking off. Definitely will not be returning

So happy I found David at The Best Nail Spa. I see him regularly every 3 weeks for dip and a gel pedicure. They hold up every time and the selection of pedicures is endless! I love that they ask you to wash your hands when you arrive- wish all nail salons did this!

The tech that did my pedicure was very sweet and friendly. I did however need to go back the next day because I needed more scaling done. It was near closing time and I really didn't look closely at the finished job til the next morning. After paying a total of $50 for the service and tip I wanted to be totally satisfied. When I went back the very next day to hopefully get this done the man (I regretfully didn't get his name) that I spoke to was rude and dismissive and turned around when I was explaining to him my issue, he didn't even bother to look at what my concern was. I will always acknowledge and praise good customer service but this was unacceptable. After experiencing this man's cavalier attitude, I will not be returning to this salon.

This is a nice clean salon located in the Loch Leven Landing strip mall near Publix. Ask for Lisa she did a nice job on my pedicure and dip nails. * You WILL need an appointment or lots of time.

This will be my last time going to this nail salon. First they sit me in a pedicure chair for almost an hour waiting to be helped while they offer everyone around me water but never offered me anything. Then when they finally show up to give my pedicure they kept trying to upsell me on the pedicure. I continually said the regular pedicure while the guy continued to tell me it didn’t include something. I let him know I knew what a regular pedicure included and he continued to ask me became embarrassing in front of other customers. My minor daughter then asked for the pink and white acrylic nails but wanted the powder instead of polish. After he got her in the chair and put on the nails he then begin to polish her tips with the white polish. She told him CONTINUOUSLY that she wanted the powder. He began to ignore her and told her polish would look the same. When we were leaving I finally got a chance to look at her nails and realized he didn’t even use pink powder nor pink polish. Her nails were see-through. I was so upset because they were closing when we left and unable to go back. I asked my minor child why she didn’t let me know before we left and she said she continued to tell him what she wanted but he ignored her and not only did not use pink polish or powder he only applied one coat of CLEAR polish after I was charged for pink and white nails. In the meantime I was being upsold on a eyebrow wax in which was a mess when the lady finished. I was going to go back the next day and complain about my daughter’s nails but said forget it. They just will not get my service again.

Tina did an amazing job on my pedicure! It’s absolutely perfect! She has amazing skills and amazing massage on legs and feet! The Best Nail Spa is very well organized and clean! Reasonable prices for the quality of work and facility! I drove from Orlando and it was worth it!! Thank you, Tina!
