After 3 years of giving myself pandemic haircuts based off a YouTube tutorial, I finally felt comfortable visiting a salon for a professional cut. I wanted a salon that only serves one client at a time so the Black Pearl Salon was perfect. I have silky straight Asian hair that’s unforgiving of any mistakes and I think Jessica did a fantastic job (see before and after pics). She was very nice and asked a lot of questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

Jessica did a fabulous job on my hair! I’ve been searching for someone to go to since moving here in 2020 & wasn’t comfortable with the places I went to….until now! Jessica did a phenomenal job on my hair. As a blonde, it’s been really hard to find someone in the area who is skilled to work with lighter colors. Jessica really took her time and listened to all of my concerns. She took my hair from 0 to 100. I’m obsessed! Everyone needs to go see her. Tell her Mary sent you :)

Jessica did such an amazing job. I have curly and unruly hair and she took her time and transformed it. Not only did she give me the color and dimension I was wanting but she gave me the best haircut of my life. You can tell she is really passionate about what she does and it shows in the results.

Jessica is a super knowledgeable hairstylist. She offers amazing customer service and makes sure she figures out exactly what you want plus takes the time to share hair care knowledge. She corrected my haircut and color and gave me exactly what I was asking for plus more. I love that she has a private studio and we were able to chill and listen to music. I would recommend her services to anyone!

Top 10 reasons why I recommend Jessica at this salon: 1. She really is a black pearl (hence the name of her salon) she’s RARE because she is very honest and very talented and HARD TO FIND because there are 1000s of stylist out there but not all share the same talent level, skills and experience with layers, cuts and color! She’s been doing this for 15 yrs and it shows. 2. She made me feel and look beautiful! Every person deserves to feel this way and she knows how to achieve just the perfect style/color/highlight and cut you are wanting. I brought in a few pictures and she duplicated what I wanted exactly! 3. She listens to you and your needs- I wanted to blend in some of my gray hair that were coming in but keep it very low maintainer and natural looking and she achieved all. 4. She educates you- I was unaware of how to take care of my long, thick hair, how to wash it, with what’s the best shampoo and what’s to avoid. 5. She’s a perfectionist! This is huge!!! You are trusting someone with your hair, your appearance and know that you’re in great hands because she cares and strives for perfection whether she is layering hair or highlighting or cutting. Anything she does she wants to do it perfectly :) (and she did!!!! I love my hair now) 6. She truly loves this career and her passion is to help people and make them feel beautiful!!! It’s not to upcharge with services to profit more money. Her pricing is appropriate and actually very reasonable for the services she provides compared to the industry standard now days. 7. She offers a lot of incentives for her clients- if you love her work, brag about it to everyone!!! She deserves the credit. She’s humble. She isn’t arrogant. She rewards you for bringing in new clients! 8. She fits you in into her schedule- she works when it works for you! Clients are her priority! She does this full time. I was able to get an apt 2 weeks out in the evening during a week. 9. She can do home visits if need be and can cit hair for the entire family- kids & guys ad well! 10. She fixed my hair from a previous cut with another salon! My hair had layers but they weren’t blended in at all. This caused my hair to be super frizzy. She correctly thinned my hair and made the layers fall in their natural place. I am super lucky and grateful I crossed paths on accident with Jessica when my salon couldn’t get me an appointment for over a month. I HIGHLY recommend her. You will never want to get your hair cut or colored by anyone else. I promise you!!
