Margarite is amazing! She gave me the hair of my dreams and I had the time of my life getting to hang out in this awesome space. She was so attentive and checked in with me frequently during the service to make sure I was happy each step of the way. I cannot recommend her or this salon enough!

I have been seeing Margo for years and there is nobody else I trust with my hair!! She is easy to talk to (and I’m shy!) and always knows exactly what style would look best on me. I give her the tiniest idea of what I would like while still asking her for guidance and she knocks it out of the park every time. She really understands what hair style compliments, your features and face shape which is something I value so much in a stylist. she also understands hair health and helped me bring my hair back to life after I neglected it for a few years. I feel so confident after visiting this salon!!! She goes out of her way to make sure you leaving feeling like the best version of yourself whether you are getting layers, a trim, bangs, a bob (I have gone to her for all of the above)…. Even if I woke up one day and decided to get a bowl cut I know she would make me feel like my best self. The salon itself is so inviting and wonderfully decorated. I enjoy spending time here. You can tell everyone here supports each other and the vibe just feels good!! Thank you Margo and TBC!! 🩷🩷

Margo was absolutely amazing!! Was referred by a friend to go see her and honestly was the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! She was so personable and made me feel so comfortable during the whole process, we had such a great time! The salon is so cute and if you go, definitely ask for Margo!! She did great with my curly hair, but I’ve seen her other work and she’s truly a jack of all trades when it comes to hair types! 10/10 experience ❤️

As a person of color, I was made to feel very uncomfortable here. The male owner did not greet me when I walked in and had a very unfriendly and unwelcoming demeanor towards me. As the staff continued to cater to the white clients, asking them if they needed anything, I sat there ignored until I asked myself for a hot beverage. The guy then brought me a cold cappuccino. It was clear what message they were sending, and I won't be back. They're absolutely classless.

Emad is the best barber I have ever had. And I am 60 so I seen many lol. I have been going now for a few years, every 4 to 5 weeks and have never had a bad haircut, in fact they have all been outstanding. So good that people actually compliment me on my hair cut. I have never had that happen before with all the other places I’ve gone to. His attention to detail is second to none and he is one of the nicest guys I know. The shop is very clean, modern looking and everyone there is friendly and happy, they are all willing and able to satisfy your needs and it shows. I can’t say enough good things about this place, so do yourself a favor and go there and see for yourself. You WILL NOT be disappointed.

I go monthly to get my hair washed. I try tons of different places in hope of the perfect relaxing refresh. Laura (hope I got the name right), did the best one I’ve ever had by a landslide. Can’t wait to try her hair coloring! She’s super conscientious and personable and would be perfect for my next dye.

I have been going to Jillian for my color for going on 4 years now and she is truly the best blond balayage color specialist I have personally ever had. I’d actually like to break this down into two sections as it rightfully deserves - skill set and customer service/relationship. When it comes to Jillian’s skill set, she’s an incredibly talented and knowledgeable color specialist. She has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to blonde balayage and her repertoire of beyond satisfied customers shows that. She’s incredibly experienced in the craft and also has a passion for coloring blonde, which makes her skill even stronger. When it comes to customer relationship - Jillian is equal parts inviting, welcoming, communicative, and professional. Every time I come to her for my hair we always have a conversation and touch base. It can always be nerve wrecking coming into a salon as hair is so personal however Jillian is a great listener and wants to make sure you get what you envisioned. I honestly refuse to see anyone else after going to Jillian as her skill set matched with her customer service skills is a combination that is hard to beat.

Jillian has been coloring my hair for over a decade and is truly the most talented colorist I have ever worked with. I ALWAYS leave feeling beautiful and confident. She is a true artist and is so talented in her work. She is also the kindest human and we have the best conversations when I come in for my appointments. I cannot recommend her enough. If you are blonde and live in NYC Jillian is a staple and must see.

Joey is a master of his craft - he explained everything so well and really thinks in "three dimensions" to create a cut that works properly with my thick hair texture. I'm so happy I came to Blackstones, Joey's cut is amazing, the salon is beautiful and the entire staff was lovely and welcoming.

Molly, molly, molly, molly, molly, molly. That’s all I have to say. I’ve had the best few years in the life of my hairstyle since I’ve met her. I used to get my haircut by a super famous fancy hair stylist. I won’t need any names and honestly Molly came in and stole his crown. She’s awesome human being and I really love this salon.
