Sydney did an absolutely AMAZING job on my hair. I am absolutely blown away. She gave a great consultation and really listened to what I wanted. On top of walking out with beautiful hair, she was super sweet and attentive during my appointment. Highly recommend her, and everyone else getting their hair done by the other stylists looked great too!

Sydney is a miracle worker!! I came in for a color correction after a bad experience at a different salon. I had pretty low expectations on what could be done. Sydney listened to my concerns and asked all the right questions to make sure we were on the same page during the consultation. During my appointment she explained what she was doing and was so knowledgeable. I knew I was in good hands and had a great time chatting with her too. When she finished and I saw the transformation I was THRILLED! She turned a mess into a masterpiece, my hair looks beautiful and I feel like myself again. Sydney is amazing at color correction work, but save yourself the pain and just book with her to begin with!

I recently had my (waist length!) hair done by Shyer, the owner of the salon, and it was PERFECT! She is clearly a color expert, highly professional and very talented. I don’t trust my hair to just anyone, and she did not disappoint. 5 stars!

I can’t say enough about Sydney and the beautiful Blake salon. I had really been wishing my ginger hair had the same pop and vibrant color it did 20 years ago, but the maintenance of getting full color or even highlights just doesn’t fit into my lifestyle. Sydney encouraged me to try a gloss instead since there is no awkward grow out phase. She really listened to what I was going for, absolutely NAILED the color and made my wish come true. Just stunning. She’s such a professional and a true master of her craft. She is a delight, takes her time and gets it right, even if that means re-touching because my hair didn’t behave with all the gray coming in. The salon is always clean, comfy and has such a fun vibe. Highly , highly, HIGHLY recommend getting in Sydney’s chair!!

She has always listened to what I have to say about my hair and it comes out exactly how I hope it would and better. As someone who has never dyed their hair before, she made the experience amazing! I recently had the pleasure of working with Kristen at this boutique salon, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The studio is intimate, clean, and modern, with huge windows that flood the space with beautiful sunlight, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. I came in looking for a dramatic change, and Kristen delivered—cutting off 4 inches and giving me a stunning layered bob with caramel balayage. She handled my thick Asian hair with ease and confidence, which made me feel reassured from the start. Throughout the process, she was informative and checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable. Her warm, friendly personality made our chat enjoyable, and she patiently answered all my questions. Even as a last-minute booking, Kristen went above and beyond. I highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for a talented stylist who knows her craft in an inspiring, comfortable setting!

I went in with my virgin hair to get a honey color. The girl said she can do it and was excited to do my hair that should’ve been immediately a red flag Since throughout the whole process, she kept saying how excited she was. It seemed like it was her first time or something. When she was done, I realized that the color was not the color I asked for instead of it being a nice honey warm color. It was very, very light. I told her this is not the color I’m looking for. she try to gaslight me her and her co workers did the same telling me that is the color in the picture which it wasn’t. It was a complete different color so I left very disappointed. I ended up going to another location and they were able to fix it thankfully, but honestly, the fact that they were gaslighting me was what pissed me off. My hair is very burnt because of this place I had very, very healthy hair

I feel like I’ve been searching for years to find the perfect salon to help me feel confident with my hair as I’ve dealt with the stressful struggle of hair loss. I am amazed at the expertise of all the ladies who works here- having had experience with Shyer and Kristen who are so responsive, helpful and great at what they do. I would recommend this salon over the many others I’ve been to since moving to Denver. They are incredibly knowledgeable with color and extensions and this is the best my hair has ever looked. Thank you, ladies!

I have been a client of Shyer (the owner) for a few years, and recently returned for a refresh on my locks. I booked with Sydney (Instagram @ssyd.styles ) this week, and I can easily say the talent transcends. I have been coloring at home for a bit and needed a change. I hadn't formally met Sydney, but as soon as I walked in, her sweet face greeted me warmly. She is bright, positive and friendly. She asked about my hair goals, I presented her my thoughts and she ran with it, with whole hearted excitement. I will post the pictures and let them speak for themselves, but Sydney did a phenomenal job; the talent/craft she possesses in her fairly young career will only take her higher. Her passion and joy for her craft shows. She and the rest of the staff are always very friendly and you can tell they pride themselves in team effort; when the other stylists have down time, you will see them strolling through the salon, complimenting clients and their stylists on the work, offering to help with mixing or getting supplies, and asking clients if they need a beverage. It is all around a positive place to experience. Worth the hour drive up, every time, to exist for a few hours in this place, and be transformed!

I will start by saying I tend to be very picky about my hair and never really feel like I get exactly what I'm looking for from salons. Sydney at The Blake completely changed that and will be my go-to from now on! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my haircut! I genuinely cannot remember a time I was so happy with my experience and results from a salon. I walked out with exactly what I wanted and will definitely be back.

I’ve been to the Blake to see McKenna about 3 times now and every experience has been amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. McKenna pays such good attention to detail and takes her time to make sure you get exactly what you want. I will be coming back!

I LOVE my girl Haley Bushell more than anything! She does an amazing job on my highlights and haircuts and I always leave with my hair feeling and look better than when I came in! The entire team at the blake is amazing and so friendly I enjoy every time I come in!! I would recommend them to anyone :)

The Blake is amazing! I saw Sydney for a partial and hair cut and I have never been happier! The color is amazing, and the cut is the perfect, crispiest bob I’ve ever received. Also, everyone who works here is so kind and genuine to each other. Such a great atmosphere! Go here & go see Sydney!

Hanna B is the BOMB. I've had dozens of hair stylists through the years but none could get the color right (too blonde, too dark, or turned brassy) Hanna is the only one who has ever done it perfectly. She is the BEST at shadow root and I have never had a bad cut. Always LOVE her work.

The Blake... More like the most amazing salon I've ever been to. Shyer and her team are the best in Denver by far. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. Drinks when you walk in. Very friendly. They do great cuts for men as well! Book soon, you won't regret it :)

Wow. I’m so impressed with Sydney and this salon. I’ve had a very difficult time finding good stylists since I moved to Colorado, but Sydney did such a phenomenal job. She really took the time to listen and understand what I wanted, and my hair turned out perfect - I couldn’t be happier! I’ll definitely be coming here again in the future!

I always feel so great walking out after my time at The Blake. Whether it’s as simple as a cut and color, or a treatment or new style, they listen to what I want. I’ve never been disappointed with any service. Such a talented and fun staff. I highly recommend.

I love The Blake Denver for so many reasons! The location is so fun being in RiNo, the interior vibe is sleek and trendy, but the vibe of the stylists tops it all off! My stylist is Hanna B and I’ve been going to her since January 2022, referred by a friend. She is extremely talented and is always learning new things to be the best stylist she can be. I love her ability to communicate well and understand what your goals are for your appointment. I actually followed her to The Blake from a previous studio because I loved her work so much! We always have a fun time together and I always leave feeling happy with my results. I have referred her to my friends which means I highly recommend her! Go to The Blake, go see Hanna B, and get hyped on the results!!
