I love Sandra! Besides being a great stylist she is a great person. Smart as a whip, funny, and has a great heart. She’s super fun to chat with while you get your haircut, she knows her stuff and listens to what you want. And she is honest. I think she is the best!

Sandra is amazing. First, I can schedule using the app, and it's SO EASY. I had the same hair person for over 20 years, but since COVID, scheduling has been almost impossible, and texting back and forth didn't work for me. Using the app makes it so easy to make and keep my appointments at times that suit me, and I can make an appointment from the app. in the middle of the night if I suddenly need one. Next, Sandra is very communicative and takes the time to understand what I want, not assuming I want the same thing every time- you know, I got to change it up now and then! Then, Sandra understands how my hair works- it's very thin, but I want to grow it out and she's helped enormously. I can't believe how amazing my hair looks and feels! It's been a game changer for me and how I feel about myself. Sandra recommends products that bring results, and isn't just telling me I need cuts or products to make money, she truly wants me to be happy with my hair. Finally, I can't say enough about how Sandra is a true hair artist - color and cut - when I leave the salon I always feel so good and my hair looks fantastic, in a way I can replicate at home. Also, the Bobby Pin is the cutest little place, with it's own parking, and it's entertaining to watch the people walk to and from the coffee shop across the street. Go here, you will love it! Oh yeah - and Sandra's prices are clearly listed on the app, and that's it. She doesn't take tips. You know what you're going to pay, that's it!

Carl is PHENOMENAL! Cannot sing enough praise for this amazingly talented stylist! He’s so nice and so good at his craft! People stop me on the street to ask where I got my cut. Highly recommend!

Went to see Layla for the first time last week. Had shoulder length curly (2b) hair & a vision for an asymmetrical pixie / shag cut. She looked through my photos of ideas, asked smart questions to clarify how the back should look, what I *didn’t* want. The cut was pretty quick, she checked in along the way about how I was feeling about it. And most importantly for me: she STYLED it well. You just never know how that will go with curly hair. Also: painful small talk is my least favorite part of haircuts, and Layla was very chill, very easy to chat with, zero pain. Yay.

I’ve been seeing Sandra Raymond for just over a year and I love seeing her. I had my first straightener treatment with her, and felt totally confident I was in experienced hands. She’s also given me some super cute cuts! The salon is a little out of the way for me, but they have parking and I usually find someplace nearby for lunch while I’m in the area. It makes for a great outing!

Sandra in AMAZING. She is a true artist with an eye for detail and fantastic technique. She also asks the best questions in her consultations to get a good idea of what you want. I have wavy hair that I am unwilling to spend any styling time on, and she gives me the perfect cuts to make that happen. Sandra also cuts our kiddo's hair and makes the process easy and fun. Cannot recommend her enough.

The Bobby Pin is a hidden gem on Division street. Sandra is an absolute goddess! A different stylist at another salon totally wrecked my cut (and my vibe) leaving me raggedy and scruffy. Sandra graciously saved the day and gave me the fresh, clean fade with precision and care that I desperately needed. Leaving her chair is EXACTLY how I wanted to feel after getting a cut. She's kind and cool, and I can't wait to book with her again.

Layla is a wonderful and very talented stylist! The salon also seems to have strong COVID safety policies; good social distancing and sanitizing touch surfaces between clients. I would recommend getting a hair cut here during the pandemic and beyond.

Carl and Leila are the friggin best. Every time I leave I feel like a million bucks - and my sides hurt just a little from laughing so much. Plus, prices are inexplicably affordable for the quality of the cut and the convenient location. I recommend this place to everyone!
