Niema’s sessions are subtle and powerful. She sees the body with keen observation and listens to it with magical intuition. And she’s so skilled at what she does. I felt so much release, both physical and energetic afterwards. Her space is magical too, with her incredible artwork all around. There’s so much more I want to share about her, but I love this so much: “Our work is always a collaboration. I am in service to the true needs of your body, heart, and spirit at each moment, creating a space and facilitating a process where you can heal yourself. We can only grow tall if our roots are deep and strong. And we can only go far if we work together. Our work may include deep sharing or silence, laughter or tears, going inward or expanding. I came to Niema to work on the compensetory ailments of an acute tendonitis, and I experienced incredible releif. She is an attentive, intuitive, and warm healer, and her space and presence are incredibly welcoming.

Niema is a talented and attuned massage therapist who gave me so much relief when I came to her with back and neck pain. She did such a great job unraveling the stuck places in my body, gently coaxing out a deep sense relaxation and ease. I've truly never felt so at home and happy in my body after a massage before! Brought back to Balance Thank you Niema for your highly intuitive touch that has supported me coming back into balance. I walked into the room with high emotions built up from a dense society and left with an un-guarded feeling of purity, vulnerability & flexibility. Beyond the beauty of her deep tissue massage, Niema intuitively of tunes in your energy field. From there, whether that being the exact poetic words that you are supposed to hear, touch or intention, she has a powerful presence of bringing healing to those areas. Howdy. She's a talented practitioner. She caught in her initial postural assessment with out me saying that my right leg was externally rotated. Right off the bat. Her anatomy knowledge was very present as it was very clear she knew precisely what muscle to target to address what i had requested. Her technique was a very nice combination of communicative, gentle and deep. She allowed space for tighter/sensitive spots on my body to sink into the attention she was giving. I'd totes go back again.

I received a 2 hour therapeutic and deep tissue massage session from Niema while I was 37 weeks pregnant. The wisdom that Niema carries runs deep, and I benefitted tremendously from being in their care. For the first time in my pregnancy, I could walk with no pain in my hips (I had been experiencing double sided sciatica pain since 4 months pregnant). As a result, my mind, body and spirit feel rejuvenated beyond what I could have hoped for. If you are looking for an LMT and/or Reiki practitioner that yields the powerful combination of educational knowledge and intuitive wisdom ~ Niema is the one for you! I will definitely be going back for postpartum care.

My appointment with Niema was phenomenal. I’m still feeling the results of my session with her which was last week! She’s an excellent listener and was able to sift through my goals and create a session that allowed me to move out stagnant emotion, participate in lengthening tense and shortened tissue, surrender and relax deeply, and get off the table feeing taller, longer, more fluid, more rooted, with more suspension and bounce in my step. She’s a true healer. Very grateful and I will be back!

Niema is my guide for chronic shoulder and chest tightness. She's able to accurately assess my injuries, and work her way gracefully to the root causes. I always feel far more flexible and mindful in my body after a session with her. Last time I spontaneously starting singing as I got off the table! The openness in my torso and chest let any joyful expression that was stuck naturally spring forward. She's an incredible massage therapist, and I'm so grateful to have found her. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to address an injury or places where tension is held.

Niema's sensitivity, healing and skill is all encompassing. From the way she prepares the space, to the brief and intentional check in, to the actual time on the table. My nervous system and body easily relaxed in her presence and touch. My emotions felt safe. My mind was put at ease. Her method and touch is unique, powerful and poetic. At first, i was entranced. I felt like I was floating, being moved in gentle waves, which allowed my body to fully relax. Then as she gently coaxed the awareness in my breath, she moved deeper, with powerful and skilled therapeutic techniques for actual healing and transformation. I know one visit, can't fix the years of solidified tension and atrophy but from one visit I left with hope for what seemed a hopeless condition in my shoulders and neck. I highly recommend, Niema of Radical Well Being Bodywork to anyone who is ready to experience authentic healing.

came to Niema just 4 weeks post op. It was supposed to be an simple few day recovery, and let me tell you it was not. When I showed up at Radical Well Being I had been sitting only on my left side for a month. My back, left side and ribs felt so sore. Niema created a space that I felt calm and completely taken care of. For anyone who's been in and out of ER's and Dr's offices, thats not always the case. I knew I was held and in good hands. I don't normally fall asleep during massages, but wanted to continually, during my session with Niema. Being in her presence reminds me to be still within. I'm so grateful for that. She worked my shoulder in a way that created more freedom than I've felt since before shoulder surgery (years ago!) She did this through active release. While the massage was very relaxing I also experienced deeper therapy through Niema's vast skill set of body work, communication, presence, and intuition.

I had an extraordinary session with Niema. I find that many practitioners excel in one area (relaxation, deep tissue, etc.) but can't always address more complex cases- but it felt like Niema danced with my rather messy constellation of needs/desires (chronic pain, deep mama exhaustion, more recent acute structural pain, etc.) with incredible deftness, care, and a presence attuned to real-time physical and energetic shifts. She offered both deep and gentle pressure along with feedback around the patterns she was noticing and clear recommendations for further work to address my needs. I was able to fully let go in the safety of her care for the first time in far too long, and I can't wait to work with her again.
