My teenage daughter got her hair braided yesterday in just two what was supposed to be stitch braids which my friend sent a picture of and everything before the appointment. She said she got there 20 minutes before 9am because she’s the type of person that’s hardly late to any appointment. The stylist texted her at 850am stating she would not arrive until 9:30 am to start my daughter’s hair which when she told me was very upsetting. The stylist set the expectations for my friend to be there at 9:00am, that’s the time she told her the she set the appointment but was late. Okay things happen, she’s a very understanding person but she also had other things to do and set her schedule around that appointment starting at 9:00am. Well Lord, that’s not all. So she started my daughter’s hair and she had thick hair for a child. Two stitch braids basic and plain nothing fancy and my daughter told me she had to keep restarting the braids over and over again, not to mention she just got them done and one braid is coming loose where her hair should have been secured inside the braids. They aren’t even stitch they are French and there is a difference. Paying $90 for two braids that’s not what was requested French instead of stitch and they’re not even lasting 24 hours is beyond me. Then she was late to an appointment she set the time for. I went from paying $180 for two stitch braids for my daughters hair and they lasted two weeks no problem or longer and was exactly what she wanted to, two French braids for $90 ands it didn’t even last a day. My daughter said there was a man there too and she wondered if he could redo her hair and do it exactly as she wanted it but since I wasn’t there AND my friend had a damaged knee she could barely walk on my daughter said she didn’t ask. I guess that saying “You get what you paid for,” is a real thing only she didn’t get what I paid for. It’s better for someone to say. I can’t do braids as such vs trying and people paying money for something they didn’t ask for and above all things the style not even lasting 5 hours.

This was a wonderful experience from start to end. My hairstylist made sure I was comfortable and communicated with me each step of my hair process. My hairstylist cared for my hair like it was his own. He was respectful and gentle. I am typically nervous to let others do my 4C hair because it requires patience, which my hairstylist displayed every step of the way. The way my hair detangled under his care showed off his skills! The salon was CLEAN and CLASSY. This experience definitely falls under self-care. The silk press left my hair feeling silky and beautiful. My hair has never been that straight before. I got so many compliments! This is definitely my salon home

I typically don’t leave reviews but I had to for Tyran! I had a wonderful experience and was able to relax some stress away. I’ve been wanting to do an auburn with blonde for a while now but couldn’t find the right time/stylist. No fear, Tyran was there! We watched the Mavericks vs Celtics playoff, talked about life, all while getting an amazing color and silk press. Tyran’s personality and the wine were the cherry on top for me. Whenever I come visit my boyfriend, I’ll be calling Tyran. Thank you again!

So my experience started when my hairstyles couldn't do my hair. So I was talking to a neighbor and my friend told me about this stylist who was really good . So I looked it up and called a man answered I asked to they take walk ins on a Saturday morning 8:45 am to be exact. He politely said what kind of hairstyle I wanted. I told him he said sure you can come now.""" I sent him a picture of my hair asked requested. I was so shocked to get somebody on short notice, but God had this planned. I received the best service, and I learned so much about my hair and gained knowledge for my new styles. You are God sent my multiple hair colors he did his job. I just want to say to Mr. Ty, thank you for allowing me to be in your presence. It went from this to that. See you in another week.

Tyran saved my hair. I had a bad experience 10 weeks ago with a hair stylist which caused my hair to be a big mess. Tyran looked at it and fixed it. I am sooo happy I found him. He does a wonderful job and advised me on what I needed to do to save my hair. I can’t wait to see him again in few weeks. Thank you Tyran and Jacob for your hospitality as well

Tyran does an excellent job at perfecting your hair! I also appreciate how he has everything in his shop to make you feel comfortable such as a foot stool in front of the hair dryer to kick your feet up. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
