Dakota is the best and I could not recommend her enough! I have gone to Dakota for years from everything from sugaring to facials. She is incredibly professional, knowledgable, and talented at what she does. Not to mention she’s also funny and just a great person to be around! 10/10

Every visit is like a mini vacation. I love the space. I love Dakota's calm and kind demeanor and I love that we can complain about stuff to each other without judgement. I started seeing Dakota for brow and lash treatments, but she has become the reason I have a skincare routine. I'm even getting (semi) regular facials, which is the ultimate mini-vacay! And I am regularly applying sunscreen (though tbh still working on reapplying every 2 hours lol) Definitely a win for me to have found Dakota and the Clean Esthetics.

Dakota is a skin magician!! After getting a facial from her my skin was glowing like I’ve never seen it glow before, I felt incredibly relaxed after her facial massage, and Dakota was SO knowledgeable about every product she used. I learned so much and my skin is looking it’s best! I cannot recommend visiting her highly enough!

I started getting monthly facials at TCE last September in preparation for my wedding this September and I am so so glad that I did. It’s now been 7 months of only using products she suggests and being religious about my daily routine and my skin has improved in a way that I didn’t think was possible. Dakota is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and fun. Skin care to me in the past has seemed intimidating and way too expensive and while it’s definitely an investment, it is WORTH IT.

I've always had trouble sticking with an esthetician until I found Dakota! She is so well rounded in her practice and really cares about helping my acne ridden skin get better. I’m so glad I found Dakota! Not only is she a considerate and genuinely nice person, she’s an amazing esthetician. She has truly transformed my skin with her magical facials. Dakota always suggests incredible high quality products, but isn’t salesy or pushy about it which I appreciate so much. I try to be really consistent and see her every 1-2 months and I definitely notice a difference in my skin texture and overall look since I’ve been seeing her consistently. Highly recommend 7/5 stars 😀

The Clean Esthetics is a MUST in life. The space immediately calms the senses and Dakota puts you at ease. I was new to a true skincare routine and Dakota was warm, patient, and talked me through all of the things. She is truly an encyclopedia of skincare. I’ve been on a normal routine at home and with facials for 6 months now and my face has never felt better. It is also the best sugaring experience I’ve ever had - was quick, painless, and never been smoother! To sum it up, everyone needs a Dakota.

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dakota and her space. I’ve been seeing her for a year now and from the start, I knew it was going to be a wonderful place to come to for not only great facials but a place that is inclusive, welcoming, and just flat out peaceful. She is very clear on what to expect out of her services, asks what you are wanting or looking for, and helps you reach those goals without being pushy. As a business owner, she sets clear boundaries while also being attentive and responsive, and is extremely knowledgeable about her craft while partnering with brands that truly resonates with what The Clean Esthetics stands for. I was looking to book a facial for the first time in the Ballard area and found Dakota so I decided to book. So happy I did! She made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. I have constantly been going since July and she’s great always using clean products for your skin and definitely takes the time to recommend what works best for your skin. 10/10 recommend!! ✨

I’ve been seeing Dakota for sugaring services since 2018 and I feel SO lucky! Dakota is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, gentle and welcoming. Her space is beautiful and inviting, and it harmonizes with her presence to create an all around wonderful experience. The Clean Esthetics is the best! Always clean, comfortable, welcoming, and relaxing. Great parking options, have only had to circle the block once on a very busy day. Dakota is amazing, have been going to her for a few years now. Have gotten a combination of services from facials to sugaring. She always gives great advice and tailors her treatment to whatever my needs are (budget, time constraints, skin goals, etc.). She is also such a great personality that even sugaring the unpleasant parts I still have a smile on my face!

Without a doubt Dakota is the best esthetician I know. I’m proud to have known her before she started The Clean Esthetics, and to have seen her build this new successful business on her own. I used to see Dakota for regular sugaring when she worked at her previous employer in Greenlake, and before I left to live abroad. I always noticed that with her sugaring “technique” (maybe it was her quickness? or maybe magic?) it seemed to hurt less than with other estheticians I’d been to, and it helped that we always chatted throughout the appointments to make it less painful or uncomfortable. Now that I live out of the country I don’t see Dakota on a regular basis, but while I was visiting Washington recently for Thanksgiving knew I had to go try a facial at The Clean Esthetics - and it was so worth it! My face was glowing afterwards and my skin felt more nourished than it had before. The space itself is beautiful and clean, and the atmosphere is calming. From now on every time I come to visit Washington I’ll be booking an appointment with Dakota :) I would highly recommend a visit to The Clean Esthetics to anyone.

Dakota has been a shining example of what Esthetician’s strive for. Her customer service is impeccable, and has great attention to detail. Her SUPERB massage techniques gave my fat cheeks defined bones that made me feel like Angelica Houston, and my shoulders the relaxation they’ve been needing. Never minces words. Very clear on what to expect based on your wants, needs, and how your lifestyle can either facilitate or hinder your skin goals. All while being hilarious and full of good conversation to help you feel comfortable and taken care of. Amazing owner of an amazing Spa.

In addition to sugaring and facials, she's also added additional lash and brow services, which are amazing. Dakota is educated on every product she carries and can provide a recommendation on entire skincare routines. I've recommend Dakota to many friends and will continue to do so!
