Updating my review to share the hair health/rebuilding journey I’ve been on with Caitlyn the last two years. My hair was a mess, see below. It’s grown probably a foot and is healthier than ever. I originally needed three rows, now I’m down to one! Best place to go for extensions!

Got my hair done here for the first time and it was a disaster, asked about a refund and the owner wanted to fix it. The customer service is wonderful and the owner is fantastic but it still wasn’t what I wanted even after it was fixed but it looked much better. I don’t think I’d go back but the owner is lovely and would recommend working with her.

I came in with a terrible bleach job (from a different salon in Austin, TX) and Tabitha SAVED ME ❤️ She was very patient and detailed with her work, and I loved how she really cared about my hair’s health (especially when I just got my hair bleached the day before). She’s so talented, and I was very happy to walk out of the salon without my bucket hat (came in with one, because it was that bad). I‘m so glad I found The Collective, and I can’t wait to come back :) you guys are amazing!

I had an appointment with Flor today and am so happy with my hair! The salon was clean and the music was pleasant, plus they had complementary drinks, but the best part was my service with Flor. She was so helpful, professional and fun to talk to. I thought she did an amazing job giving me what I asked for while also giving professional advice. My hair looks amazing and I will for sure be back in the future!

I’ve been going to Tiffany for the past 3 years… almost 4! I’ve never had a bad experience and my hair has never looked better. She will make sure she works with you and you’re lifestyle so you have the most gorgeous hair, while also making sure you’re real hair is not getting damaged in the process. I have never had an issue here and the staff has always been so sweet. You’re missing out if you decide to go somewhere else!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Klare Martinez makes me feel so welcome and beautiful! She does an amazing job and I’m always in love the results! The Collective is also in a great location and the facilities are top tier! The vibes are great at the customer service is the best! 10/10 would recommend this place to all my friends and family!

The Collective ATX salon is amazing. I've been seeing Tiffany for many years for cuts and colors, and I cannot say enough good things about her, and her salon. I took the plunge last year to get hair extensions installed, and I have NEVER been happier with my hair. It's the healthiest it has ever been now, it looks amazing and I am consistently complimented on the color and cut. Beyond their amazing talent with hair, everyone is so sweet at the salon, and they take the best care of me whenever I go in. I highly recommend booking a visit here. They're the best in town!

Tiffany and her crew are the best in town! I've been trusting Tiffany and anyone she trains with my blonde for years, and now have several friends that come here. I took a leap to get extensions about a year ago. My natural hair is finally restored to good health to where I don't have to rely on the extensions, thanks to Tiffany & crew's guidance. First class. Amazing Staff. Extremely flexible & helpful anytime I need something.

Tiffany her team are unmatched when it comes to quality hair extensions and color in Austin. The attention to detail is elite; no expense is spared and you truly get what you pay for here. I can trust I will always love my hair when I leave The Collective ATX. Not to mention, it’s a huge bonus knowing you won’t be in the chair all day; they have their efficiency locked down. You really cannot go wrong here.

Caitlyn saved my hair! I was so miserable with my old extensions and color until she stepped right in and gave me my dream hair. She’s so great at getting my hair exactly how I like it and it always looks so healthy and shiny when she’s done. She’s also super great to talk to and hang out with during the appointment. An absolute gem of a person.

I have been going to The Collective ATX for 2 years now for NBR Extensions. Tiffany is my main stylist when it comes to my NBR's but I have been helped by many! Marcella, Caitlyn & Rachel are just a few other amazing stylists who have been apart of making me feel beautiful if it was just simply coming in for a blowout or to get curled in between my extension appointments. I could never see myself going anywhere else. Love my Collective ladies. It feels like a girls get together versus a hair appointment. If your on the fence about this salon I am here to tell you. don't waste anymore time. You won't regret it! :)

I moved to Austin in 2021 and was in need of a new stylist who is skilled in extensions and coloring / blonde. I saw Tiffany for a consultation, where I quickly knew, this is a very knowledgeable and experienced stylist. I instantly loved her energy and vibe and felt a level of comfort and trust right away. She convinced me to move away from beaded extensions and go with weft extensions. She indicated Weft installation would be less damaging on my hair, allow for more flexibly and styling as well. I'm thrilled to say after 1 year of having her care for my hair and this new method of extension installation, my natural hair has grown substantially and is MUCH healthier. I cannot recommend Tiffany or her team enough. She constantly goes above and beyond with training for her staff, keeping up with the latest and greatest. You can feel the positive energy from everyone at the salon. The Collective ATX is a VIBE!!!!

I’ve been getting my hair done with Amanda for nearly two years and love her work! I always leave feeling beautiful with healthy hair. I also appreciate her patience when I was working nights and falling asleep on her chair lol. I’m sad to leave her due to moving, but look forward to getting my hair done for my brothers wedding later this year! Go see Amanda 😊

Left my teen daughter in tears and disappointment after waiting 2 weeks for an appointment. She wanted full balayage and has thick long hair so i disclosed that at scheduling. But shortly after I dropped my daughter off at salon, she was told to leave the appointment because "what she wanted was going to take 5 hours". When I went back to the salon to suggest alternatives such as 2 step (stylist didn't understand what that meant) or partial highlight, the stylist told us she only had a 2 hr time limit, and she didn't provide any other options for today's appointment other than telling my daughter to come back next week. It seemed like she didn't want to work today, at least not for my daughter's hair, or she didn't know how to do it. This is a very poor experience, my daughter was very upset and so was I, it wasted the appointment time and our expectations. Will not be going back.

Tiffany and her staff are amazing! I researched NBR and The Collective was listed. I reached out to them and was helped immediately. They got me in with Tiffany fairly quick. Tiffany did a great job explaining in detail how to care for and maintain my hair. They are truly the best!

Writing my first Google review here, for my absolute favorite salon and hair master stylist, Tiffany! I started going to Tiffany 3 1/2 years ago, when I lived in Austin. My hair is thin and fine; therefore, it's a challenge to work with, BUT... Tiffany knows how to work with this hair type better than any other stylist I've met. She raised my confidence level by a ten fold when she started doing 1 row of NBR, gentler color, and the perfect cut for me. I've left Austin twice, tried new stylists, and realized no one compares to her to I'd fly back from LA, and now drive down from Dallas (I tried the top 2 salons/stylists here and Tiffany is still the best). She, and all the ladies at the The Collective ATX are sooo worth the drive! Thank you, Tiffany and team!

I’ve been a client of both Tiffany and Rachel from The Collective for over 2 years. The quality of their work is outstanding. I honestly don’t think there is a better colorist in this city. Tiffany and Rachel both are highly skilled in NBR extension techniques and have brought my hair back to life multiple times. If you are looking for the highest caliber salon in Austin, this is it.
