Overall just a great guy to deal with. I can see why he has all 5 star ratings. Let me walk you through my experience. First off he text me shortly before the appointment to ensure I could find the right suite which was good cuz I was little confused at first. It's suite # 110 on the outside FYI. Then once inside suite 110 it's Suite # 116. His customer service and attention to detail was extremely impressive. Offered a drink to start, and took the time to really understand what I was looking for before starting on my hair. He was able to fix the kinks left by my previous haircut which I was extremely grateful 🙏. Last thing I want to mention is he really knows how to make a personal connection. There was no awkward lull in the conversation as you may sometimes experience during a trim. We were able to discuss things far beyond your typical surface interactions that you would expect from haircut. This is definitely my new spot. I would post a photo too but my camera wouldn't even do his work justice. Just know it was top notch. 🙌

I recently visited The Collective Men's Hair Salon and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. The barber's skill in cutting hair is exceptional; he managed to give me exactly the look I was hoping for. Not only is he highly skilled, but he's also incredibly friendly, making the time spent in the chair enjoyable with great conversation. The cleanliness of his suite was top-notch, reflecting a high standard of professionalism. Additionally, his knowledge about hair care was evident as he provided some excellent advice on how to maintain my style at home. A notable feature is that the suite is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can enjoy his services comfortably. Based on this fantastic experience, I've decided that this will be my new go-to barber. Highly recommend!

Just got a great haircut Afshin! He gives great advice and took a lot of time to make my cut look awesome. Really appreciate the great advice to maintain cut and style. 5 star cut and service. Really recommend anyone to try this salon out.

Ash is awesome and brings a true high quality experience that’s missing these days. I walked into his studio and immediately knew I was in the right place. He takes his time in understanding the cut you want, customizes it to fit you, and executes on it. The best thing is that his cuts are meant to look good, even as your hair grows out, and makes a plan to make it look better over time. Great conversation as well. I look forward to my next cut with him! Worth every dime. 10/10 would recommend.

Can’t say enough kind words about Ash and his business. Excellent attention to detail and a great person to talk to. Told him my general idea and let him do his magic for the overall whole cut, and turned out better than I could have hoped. Only salon in town I will visit for now on. Thanks Ash!

Had to get a 'christmas hair cut' last minute and it was a great choice. Wonderful experience and very professional work. Would likely go again when I'm visiting my in-laws or on a business trip and didn't get a haircut before.

Received an excellent haircut on a very short notice after looking online. The salon itself is welcoming and is kept perfectly clean. The haircut itself came out great and came with advice on how to manage my hair going forward. Definitely not the last time I visit and I would highly recommend the service to anyone looking for a new barber/stylist.

After relocating to Vegas in 2020 and needing a new barber and bouncing from shop to shop to find someone I liked and didn’t always need to reschedule , I found Ash in 2022 and have been a loyal customer since then. He does a great job, always on time, professional and talented. I highly recommend giving him a shot next time you need a haircut or beard trim!

Ash as great customer service. Took the idea of how I wanted my hair, ran with it and made it better than I had envisioned. With natural curly hair. Sometimes what you ask for is not what you received. Ash meets expectations and exceeds them.

After nine years of being together my (now) wife and I decided to tie the knot. We picked Las Vegas (actually Nelson Ghost Town lvwc.com) to get married at as it was easy for both our family (some in their late 70s) and friends to get to, stay, have fun, and be able to enjoy our experience. Key in to me having a busy week at work and home before leaving for Vegas and I did not get my haircut or beard trimmed. Also, I wanted it to be fresh before the wedding since we would be there four days before the event. We were staying at the Virgin (Mohegan Sun) and I found several highly recommended men's salons in the area, but I didn't want to go to the strip to get a haircut and the one right across the street did not vibe with me. I kept looking and found The Collective Men's Salon right by where the girls were getting their lashes done. The one thing that stuck out to me was that this salon had all five star reviews. I checked it out some more and decided to make an appointment. I had some time to kill, so started to drown some $100 bills in the machines over at the Durango Station when I get a call from a strange number. It was Asfihin and he said he was getting done early with his other appointments and if I could stop in earlier that would be great and it was. I really like that he called me and offered that option as not everyone would do that. I headed over found my way inside the building and got to meet Ash. First impressions say a lot and Ash's one room salon was nicely setup with a multitude of clippers, product, and other equipment that he uses. Ash offered me a drink to start and spent some time asking what I was looking to do and for what reasons. I gave him carte blanch with my hair and beard and said that I wanted to look good for the wedding. Ash is a great guy and engaged me in conversation about where I was from (WA state) and where he was from (Houston) as well as the talking about the current issues that were happening around us. I learned that Ash started in hair 15 years ago and spent six years doing hair for women before moving into men's hair styling. At each step of my haircut and beard trim Ash explained what he was doing and why. He talked about the product he was using as well as giving me some nice options for beard trimming equipment that I could use at home. After leaving Ash followed up with a text about the equipment and product, so that I could purchase it for myself. On Saturday, the day before our wedding, my step son showed up and in usual fashion his long, shoulder length hair and beard were unkempt. He says he loves his having curls and his beard was fine. His mom thought different as she was having him and his sister walk her down the aisle. A quick text on Sunday (the day of the wedding) to Ash and he was able to get my stepson in and tidied up. My stepson walked out with straight hair and a nice trim on his beard and his mom was super impressed with his look (thanks Ash from Gina!) Overall Ash is a great guy who does a great job. His salon is top notch, he is engaging, and he shares his knowledge and the reasons why he is doing what he does during your time in the seat. If I lived in Las Vegas I would use The Collective Men's Salon exclusively and anytime that I am in town in the future I will make it a point to set up an appointment and go see Ash. I know now why Ash and The Collective Men's Salon gets all five stars and I am adding my five star rating and experience here as well. Best haircut I've had in Las Vegas! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a barber or stylist that will help you get the style you're looking for while also taking into account the characteristics of your own hair. Ash explained everything he was doing during the haircut and recommended me products and techniques that would help me achieve the style I wanted at home.

I recently had the pleasure of getting a cut from Afshin. His attention to detail and skill are top-notch! Afshin took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. The fade was flawless, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I was able to easily schedule an appointment online and was greeted by Ash, on time. He asked me with genuine interest about my hairstyle preference, and responded with his expertise what we think would look best. I appreciate this as some hair stylist will ask candidly, and miss the mark because of it. Ash was able to cut and style perfectly, then help me find a hair product that I needed.
