I really like this place a lot. I did some research to find a better colorist in the area because one of the last places I went to were not very good with color. They are expert colorists here, and Candida is so friendly while also being very fast and efficient. I recently stopped in without an appointment and they were extremely accommodating to fit in a single process color and hair cut. I know they have tons of great reviews here, but something about this place feels extremely underrated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, especially since it sometimes feels like you have to travel far in NYC to overbooked and overpriced salons for this type of quality.

Happened to walk in and see if I could get a hair cut.Took me right in and gave me an awesome haircut and pampered me with a scalp massage. When ever I am in town I know exactly where to go. Thank you for the awesome service❤️

I love this salon! I’ve been coming here for years! Candida & the entire team are friendly, professional and truly care about your hair. It’s the only place I would send my kids for their hair color adventures and for my keratin and haircut. A++

J and her team at the Color Room did an absolutely phenomenal job doing hair and makeup for me and my bridal party at my wedding. The team had a sense of calm that made the day run smoothly. They traveled to me and my bridal party in Brooklyn to do our hair and makeup. The team dealt with a variety of hair textures and skin tones and all of us looked great! Several people remarked about how beautiful our makeup was and both our hair and makeup lasted through hours of dancing in the August heat! I have been coming to the Color Room for nearly 10 years and there is no one else I would have trusted on such an important day in my life.

Candida is as wonderful a human being as she is a stylist. My daughter and I have been going there since the Color Room opened maybe 5-6 years ago. I'm glad the business seems to have survived the pandemic.

I got caramel highlights on my hair here, and they turned out so well! I had never gotten my hair colored before, so I showed Candida some ideas of what I wanted and she was able to help me figure out the best fit for my hair. She did an excellent job and I'll definitely come back in the future! The salon took lots of COVID-19 precautions and I felt very safe there, too.

Best color I've had done in a long time. She took care putting on the color making sure it covered all of my grey, and checked on it a few times as it was developing. She really paid attention to details and gives the best hair wash ever. All this at a very reasonable price. Very nice and accommodating. This place is a keeper!!!

Omg this place is amazing. What i love about color room is the service Candida, Gisell and Jay are amazing. I went to color room as a natural brunette after 3 years without dying my hair. I want to go blond but not any blond i want a platinum blond. Candida gave me her honest opinion about the blond i wanted which left me very indecisive. I told candida go ahead I leave it in your hand. She did an AMAZING job the result was the BEST!.
