While on vacation,(from big spring tx), west texas. Randy did my hair. Highlights ,color & style. He made my day! He is very professional, very nice, & he did an outstanding job to my hair. I very much recommend him. The Hair Salon is beautiful as well. Very clean, including the staff.Everyone is really nice.

Got my hair done yesterday and had a great experience like always! My hair stylist, Madalyn, made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Also had great conversations and all of the staff was very friendly. My hair came out beautifully and I would recommend this business to anybody!

The worst decision I’ve made for my hair in years! After losing my hair from illness and growing it back after 3 years and finally having my dream hair, I wanted to add some dimension. When calling I asked how many years experience the colorist had and was told she is experienced and I shouldn’t worry, which felt like a deflection. Wanting to support a Latina business and having faith I went in. I left with striped highlights, not what I asked for however I did leave a tip to be nice. I went home and my hair turned orange pretty quickly and I asked them to help me change it since it wasn’t what I asked for. I was adamant about not damaging it further and unfortunately that is exactly what happened. My thick bouncy curls are ruined and my hair frizzy and damaged. After bringing it up to the owner she told me “you hair is not damaged”, which is weird bc i know my own hair. After leaving due to not wanting them to damage my hair any further by trying to fix it, I asked for a refund and was told no. Instead I was made to feel like a liar for insisting the scheduler did not give me a chance to know the experience level after asking. I was told again by the owner “your hair is not damaged”.. which was gaslighting me. If you love your hair, don’t go here. If you want to get basic highlights and dont mind people damaging you hair at their own will this is the place for you. However I was adamant about the care of my hair due to experiencing hairloss and illness. “Professionals” are supposed to anticipate what is good/bad for your hair. They didn’t give AF

Sarah is amazing! I have naturally course black hair, and she was able to lift/color my hair beautifully and left me feeling amazing :) I will now be recommending her to EVERYBODY!!! she deserves nothing but the best ;-;

Very satisfied with this service that had my call last minute to make an appointment and was able to get in with Karen. She did an amazing job and took her time with my hair. As a stylist myself, I’m very particular about my hair. I would definitely recommend the color studio and I will be coming back.

I LOVE MY HAIRRRR. The lovely lady that did my hair was karen (Don’t know how to spell the name) she did amazing! Lovely customer service, she dyed my hair purple and she is honestly the best at what she does! She got me a water and made sure i was comfortable! Definitely coming back again thank you! :)

I went to the salon and then I showed them what I wanted and they told me I was going to make 350 they made me pay for something I didn't want if they want the money but they don't give what you ask for terrible service I don't recommend it they just took my money.

Finally getting a chance to write a review. After moving to SA I needed to find a new salon & my friend recommended the color studio. I got an appt set up with Sarah and she was very sweet and held good conversation. I get nervous before my hair appts and this time my hair came out too dark, so they told me to gladly come back in and they put a bleach cap to lighten it. It has been about 5 months since and I like the color of my hair now! It needed the bleach cap and some washes since then to get light and it’s helped. To me, customer service speaks louder than everything and I’m so grateful for their service to see me the next available appt. Sarah even said they prefer customers to let them know and give feedback so they can see them again and don’t lose a new client. They really care about their craft and you can tell. I like the placement of her balayage highlights and the time she took, it was just the darkness/toner that threw me off but they were glad to lighten it for me :) thank you to them! Customer service is most important- always. I haven’t had a chance to write anything but I’m finally able to now! Thank you! Pics show my hair directly after the appointment and then my hair last week :)

first of all This place is wonderful, I was asking for a private room to color my hair as they don’t have a prepared one but at the time of my appointment it was prepared for me and that makes me so happy that there is a place care about the clients needs. Second I appreciate Bryanna the hair stylist that was taking care of my hair she’s so patient , talented and caring about my needs and my concerns , she showed me a lot of hair color samples to choose what I like , I was afraid of the experience as I didn’t change my hair color in years but after the new look I am so happy she’s professional and know what she’s doing without burning my hair , Thank you Bryanna I am so happy with my new look and for sure will return back again with you , you are the best . Thank you The color studio for everything for the environment ,the service and for the best stylist ❤️.

I had done my hair at home and it turned 2 shades of horrible. Called them up and they sympathized and got me right in. Randy was excellent! He listened!! And he went above and beyond to help fix my hair. Stayed 4 hrs for a walkin!

I had such a lovely experience here. The salon itself is adorable, everyone is friendly and passionate about hair. I had the pleasure of working with Bryana, from the very beginning she was determined to make me happy and in love with my hair. She listened to my concerns and requests, and incorporated her own recommendations based on her experience, while always making sure I was comfortable and a part of the process. Bryana is very sweet, caring, and talented. I feel very fortunate to have found this place!! Only wish the dog was working when I was there :( hopefully he has a shift next time I go in!!

My cousin recommended this salon and I’m so glad I listened! I’ve been coming a little over a year and Bryanna is my girl. I’m naturally curly for those of you searching for a salon. Bryanna has been part of my hair journey - she’s all about improving the final outcome and I love her for this. From adding a layer to help my curls bounce or working through highlights. She listens to what I’m thinking and always tells me what will work and what won’t. Her sincerity and honesty are very appreciated. Oh Bryana! 💁🏻‍♀️✨This place hands down the best! My stylist,Bryana🫶🏻✨, not only worked wonders on my hair, but on my daughters as well. She gave us the best look! She made my daughter smile so much, she gave my daughter the best experience!🙌🏻 And when I tell you that this lady did miracles on our hair! She has a magic at her fingertips!✨Perfect experience, she was considerate and listened to what we wanted🥹and still was excellent with time management ! Starting with the relaxation to our little therapy session💆🏻‍♀️ to the dedication of her work, it was beyond perfect ! She definitely gained loyal clients by her side now! I will provide pictures of her work, but they do you no good, because it looks 100 times better in person! I’m talking the stylist told me that she was thinking about what I wanted all night! Do you know how special client feels when they hear that your stylist listened to your wants and needs and was able to apply that?! Well, she did that. She worked miracles. Sarah was absolutely amazing!! I tried to cut my own hair and.. needless to say SHE FIXED ME UP!! I’m always scared of trying new salons because my hair is thick and I usually leave feeling somewhat disappointed, but Sarah cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it with layers and face-framing layers, and I feel so much more confident now. Plus she was so fun to talk to. 1000/10 I’m definitely coming here for all my haircuts!!

vanessa did my hair, it was my first time going so i was very scared but i got exactly what i wanted! i got my hair cut and my purple highlights. it was expensive but i think it’s worth it! :) everyone was kind and the place is so pretty and clean. i’ll definitely come back :) the first photo is the before and the next two are after! my hair is my treasure so im glad it came out perfectly how i imagined it! 🩷

Ashley did a wonderful job with my hair, all I got was a cut and style but it was amazing, the wash was fantastic and the cut service was amazing because I have some DEAD over processed hair and she did an amazing job at understand I didn't want to go short but I wanted the dead off.. we took off about 2-3 inches and did some layers, and it's so soft and fluffy now and I can't wait to see my curls too start coming back.. maybe need any one more trim until ask the over processed is off but that's perfectly fine!

Hands down THEE BEST hair studio ever! I’ve been getting my hair done for years, Jessica is absolutely amazing! I will always refer my friends and family, all of the ladies do so well! It was my first time here and I can't thank Karen enough she explained and helped me make up my mind, she was so accommodating and listened to what I wanted, I have been getting so many compliments on my hair. I will be going back to her for all my hair needs. The employees here are very nice and sweet and don't stare at you weirdly like in some other salons.

I’ve been coming to the color studio for over a year now. I happened to make an appointment with Ashley and let me just say she is such an amazing hair stylist! She is so humorous and really gets to know her clients personally. Every time I come in for a revamp she NAILS it! She makes sitting in her chair for 5+ hours go by so quickly. She voices her opinion on what is best for your hair and still manages to get the job done. If anyone needs a hairstylist, Ashley is your girl! You won’t regret it!

My daughter and I went in for a consultation; her friend dyed her hair, and we needed it done correctly. Karen at The Color Studio was awesome. She explained what needed to be done and was able to schedule us asap. The before and after is incredible. My daughter and I absolutely love what Karen did!!

Randolph did an amazing job with my hair transformation!! I wanted something subtle but still dynamic with a neutral tone and he hit it on the mark! I had no inspo pics because I just couldn’t find the right tone I wanted, but he took the time to listen and executed what I had in my head beautifully!!! Book book book!!

Went here on a whim to fix a balayage i overgrew and he did a great job! I got it done before fall pictures over the weekend and these were taken 4 days after my balayage and haircut… will for sure go back again! I love it!
