Clayton is AMAZING. The experience from start to finish was 10/10. He asked what my vision was for my hair cut and repeated back to me so we were on the same page. For the color, he brought out swatches to give me a visual and explained everything as he was going. He did exactly what we talked about. Not only did he hear me but he was incredibly friendly and you can tell he loves his job. Go see Clayton, you won’t be disappointed! I got a cut and toner.

Hi, I went in after having gone somewhere else for bangs. Something was off about them, they didn’t lay down, there wasn’t enough off them. I booked a fave framing with Rebecca Minich. Life changing!!!!! She cut with razor and was able to completely fix them up better than I imagined! She used a razor- it FEELS amazing, it lays rights, has a 70s vibe. Truly the best cut I’ve ever had. I made appointment to go back and wait to have whole head done by Rebecca! She’s my girl. Thank YOU Rebecca I’m so happy and love it so much!!!

Horrible experience I made an appointment weeks in advance and also called twice to make sure my appointment was scheduled and confirmed. Everything seemed fine according to the receptionist. However the day of my appointment I called to make sure I had written the correct time and the receptionist told me my appointment was canceled because the hairdresser had other plans. They claimed they were trying to contact me yet they had my wrong phone number after I had provided it TWICE! I even called them staying I never got the confirmation text they said it’s ok to wait. So disappointed they cancelled my appointment day of and couldnt squeeze me in for my appointment date with someone else, mind you they did this day of New Year’s Eve and 2 days before my birthday.The fact that they pull this stunt and they can’t accommodate me with another dresser for their fault is crazy. I had to get a babysitter to watch my child so I could get my hair done and made arrangements for them to just cancel. Shows how they don’t care about their customers and their customers are NOT their priority.

Catie Collins, this review is long over due. In 2017 I moved to Charleston, SC & had to find a new hairstylist. I called a salon close to me & told the woman on the phone I need to find someone that’s good with blondes. Right then I booked an appointment, took my chances & now fast forward in 2024 I am still seeing Catie. Catie moved to Greenville, SC & I now live in Charlotte, NC but that hasn’t stopped me from being loyal to someone that’s remained loyal to me. She’s even so kind enough to always book me at 9ams even though her bookings don’t typically start till 10 because I drive 2 hours & she knows I’m an early riser! Catie has always gone above & beyond for me to make sure I leave feeling beautiful. She has transformed my hair from blonde to brown to copper to pink then back to blonde again & is always excited to tackle whatever I ask for. One of my favorites things about her is how Catie always throughout the years has used the word “healthy” on my hair. She does what needs to be done to get the job done of what I want with also not frying/damaging my hair. I love my hairstyle Catie & will forever look forward to the times spent with her & all the good conversations that also follow! Thank you for continuing to make me feel beautiful after I leave your presence. I appreciate you Catie!

Catie has been doing my hair since I moved to Greenville 2 years ago. From the start she has been fantastic in the service she provides. Even though I see her every six weeks, she always spends time at the beginning of the appointment talking through what I want, her suggestions, and what process and products she will use. Before moving forward she checks to make sure I’m on board. I have never left worrying about the health of my hair, which is the constant struggle of going super blonde. So my hair is great, but also Catie is a kind, funny human and I feel like I got lucky to find her right when I moved here.

Catie is hands down the BEST!! I have literally followed her to four salons because she's that good. She took my black box dye hair to deep purple, bright red, copper, and now I'm currently dark blonde. We've done color correction, balayage, blonde money pieces and more. She also does the best cuts on top of color which is hard to find a stylist who can do both. Throughout years of drastic color changes I never once left with damaged hair because she's that amazing. Hair aside, Catie's demeanor is a huge plus. She's the most laid back stylist I've ever had-never pushes me on expensive products I don't want or need, let's me work on my laptop in silence or yap for two hours. Book with Catie, you won't be disappointed.

I have only AMAZING things to say about Catie! I followed her here all the way from Charleston SC. She keeps my hair anxiety calm. I tell all my friends that my stylist focus's on the integrity of my hair and tries to keep it as healthy as we can even when lightning. Recently she gave me such a cute short cut and color, I got compliments all weekend during my work conference! So happy with my services and can't wait for more to come!!

I started going to Catie for regular cuts and followed her to the Common Room from another salon. She now colors my hair and uses her expertise and creativity. She gets to know her clients so she knows what they will and will not like. When I sit in her chair, I do not have any worries or concerns and let her go to work! She’s easy going and fun to chat with, too!

I started going to The Common Room and seeing Sabrina when I first moved to Greenville in 2023 and she’s been the absolute best! She listens and understands what I want and suggests the best way and always does the best work! I have never left disappointed in the results since I know she takes her time to get it right. I’ve never had a hair stylist where I’m actually happy with the result every time. Not to mention, she’s kind and super great to talk to. 10/10 recommend!

I've been lucky enough to be a client of Catie's for over three years! I was referred to her from my old hairstylist and her former coworker when I moved to Greenville. I'm someone who does not like their natural color and Catie helps me exceed all of my hair goals, and keeps my hair healthy (even through crazy pregnancy hormones that changed my regrowth drastically)! Not only is she extremely talented and knowledgeable, she is professional, kind and funny. I look forward to each appointment and wouldn't trust anyone else! I’m so glad I found this salon! Sabrina has made me feel so confident and I get so many compliments on my hair since I’ve been going to her. She’s very professional and has been very helpful in educating me about different coloring techniques and what works for my hair type. She’s an absolute sweetheart and I highly recommend! Also the atmosphere of the salon is fabulous. I love getting a nice robe to wear and a great cup of coffee when I walk in. It makes the whole experience extra special.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored here for a few years now and could not be happier. Catie is THE BEST. She’s taken me blonde and back to brunette and about to go back blonde again. She’s amazing at knowing what will look best with your hair and always explains everything in detail. While she’s incredible at color, she excels at cuts too. I’ve had her do everything from long layers to a bob to even talking me out of pixie cut (thank God she talked me out of it). 🤣 She’s the best and I’m so happy I found her. Finding a new stylist is like dating and thankfully it wasn’t a painful process this time around. If you’re looking for a new stylist, Catie is your gal!

I’ve lived in Greenville for two years now and always joke with Catie that she became my regular hairstylist before I even found my doctors here! The common room is such a cute calming space and I love getting my hair done by Catie. I have very long hair and she always gives me the best hair cuts and I’m so picky with my hair! She also did my hair for my engagement photos and did such a great job! It also is an added bonus that she’s a gem and lovely to talk to. Highly recommend Catie!

My girl Catie is my go to! A true girls girl. It took me so long to find a stylist that always got it right and I’ve never been disappointed leaving her chair. I used to bop around to different stylists because I never found one I loved and figured they all did the same thing…UNTIL I met Catie. Now it’s her or no one. She rolls with any punch I come in with whether that’s lighter, darker, layers, bangs, or chopping it all off. I always feel my most confident after an appointment with her. Sabrina consistently gives me the best haircuts of my life. She is so knowledgeable when it comes to how your hair lays, your texture, the styling. You can show her a picture and she will cut it exactly like that and will ask you questions along the way to make sure ya'll are aligned. I get so many compliments on my hair ever since I started going to her. I recommend Sabrina to everyone who asks/compliments my hair!

I’ve lived in the Greenville area for three years. It took me 2 years to find Morgan at The Common Room. I have had my hair cut literally from coast to coast and have never had anyone cut my hair with such skill and precision as Morgan. She is very articulate, artistic, skilled and precise in her trade. I would not consider going to anyone else.

I couldn’t say enough good things about the Common Room. I’ve been going to see Clayton for about two years now and refuse to go anywhere else! He goes into great detail with each client and does a really thorough analysis and makes sure you come out loving your hair each time. Couldn’t recommend him more! I got my hair styled by Kiley and she did an AMAZING job!! My curly/wavy hair is so tough to manage but she got my hair looking the best it has ever looked all while providing knowledge on products I would’ve never thought to use!! She was so sweet, funny, and really took her time to get to know my hair. I would come back to her any chance I get!!

This place is amazing, it is the only time I've walked out with a haircut that I love. Sabrina was very nice and cut my very long hair into layers and everything in 45 minutes. Definitely go here!!

Catie is amazing! It’s so hard to find someone who is really good at both cut and color and Catie is spot on with each. When I go to Catie I know I’m going to walk away happy. :) The salon is clean and beautifully decorated and the staff is super friendly. Highly recommend!
