Great salon with even better vibes. I recommend Gina - she truly listened to what I wanted (long layers with bangs!) and I walked out happy. I appreciate experienced stylists and Coyote has a number of them. Bonus: they are animal lovers and support a number of local causes for cats and dogs who need help!

I misread my calendar and showed up a day early for my cut and color. I know, how rude of me. While I am mortified that a couple of Gina's clients had to wait, I can't say I felt any stress or like I was being rushed even though she was juggling my service with others (who were actually on her calendar). Both the cut and the color were amazing and when the cashier realized that I was there on the wrong day she was as gracious as can be. Gina was too, even though I probably messed her day up royally. She's a peach of a professional and I just love the work she does. Did I mention that the ambience of the salon is unparalleled? A million likes!

My hair is thin and fine. I showed Gina some photos of possible cuts, told her I don't do products or fuss with hair dryers and such - just a wash, comb and go. I also wanted something that would look okay as it grew out. Gina did a great job, and she also seems to really enjoy what she is doing. That's always a bonus! I would definitely recommend Gina at TCWS.

Ty took my wild hair that hadn't been cut in 5 years and did exactly what I asked for. My cut could not be more perfect. Never been to this funky little shop before but I plan on coming back again and never going anywhere else. Thanks for a great job, Ty! See you again soon.

I love getting haircuts here and really appreciate the bohemian vibe and inclusion as a queer person who does not want a traditional cut. I had to switch stylists at one point and got a *really* bad cut that I was very unhappy with. I was able to get a refund and schedule an appointment with a different stylist who I am very happy with. I understand things don't always go right, and I'm so grateful for their understanding and desire to help remedy the situation. I love my new stylist Jess and I'm very excited to work with her moving forward!

I followed the Coyote from 4th Avenue to Grant. Carmen is always worth it. He is always able to renew my spirit with his thoughtful approach to my appearance. Nothing compares to experience that was built on caring. Also TY is truly an expert colorist! Thank you TY and once again Carmen who always knows how to renew my life force!

I had an appointment scheduled today for 1:30PM with Gina and arrived early at 1:25PM. There was no receptionist present but I thought someone might come to help, especially after several hair stylists walked by and made eye contact with me. I figured that I was there a bit early and could wait a few minutes. Fast forward to 1:40pm and still, no one has helped me and it now past my appointment time. I got up to wait at the desk, hoping to make it known that I hadn't been helped and an employee finally came to talk to me after 1:45PM. He apologized for the wait and told me he would check with my stylist. Gina couldn't even deign to address me and sent him back to tell me to wait longer while she finished curling someone else's hair. At this point, it was 20 minutes past my appointment time and it felt like a slap in the face that she couldn't bother to notify me of her delay herself, so I left. Ten minutes later, I got a call from her in which she blamed me for being ignored, saying that I should've gone back into the salon to get her attention. As the person selling a service, she should have checked at my appointment time to see if I was there and come out at any point after to let me know things were running behind. Alas, absolutely no accountability on her part and only empty apologies to be found. Needless to say, I will never return to this inhospitable place with careless employees and I recommend you find somewhere else to get your hair cut as well.

I have been a client for over 20 years..I have straight,fine hair & a bad cut really shows up..So Coyote does a great job & the ambiance is wonderful..I highly recommend them

I have been a client for several years, and on numerous occasions, women have approached to ask where I go. My gray is done with highlights and lowlights and makes me look a lot younger and more contemporary. I love it. No helmet head here.

My hair is somewhat challenging because it's wavy and I trust Ty at Coyote to give me a good haircut every time! She takes her time, makes it nicely layered and it grows out well. This place is a high-quality salon.
