Jenna was awesome!! Super sweet and gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had, she did exactly what I wanted. I was a little nervous with such a big change but I’m beyond happy with it. Will definitely be returning!

Lexie does amazing work !! She retouched my blonde , colored my hair and did perfect extension on me . She is very thorough and explained everything and made sure all my questions or concerns were met . I love the atmosphere of her salon and the energy . 10/10 would recommend!

I came in for a haircut with Jenna. I’ve been cutting my own hair for quite awhile and she was able to handle my out grown mess and give me a shag cut ,along with a deep conditioning, that I absolutely love. I loved the environment, the aesthetic of the shop and how welcoming it is as soon as you step through the door.

I just had my first appointment with Jenna and she is amazing. Not only super sweet but a definite professional. She talked me through everything she was doing, and it was a lot. I came in with a lot of work for her to do. She kept telling me how excited she was to do my cut to get it back the way I like it, which is with lots of layers. She nailed it! It was well worth the hour drive. I’ve found my hairstylist. Thank you Jenna!

I am so happy with my hair every time!!! Lexie is the best and her communication / consultation skills make every appointment super easy! This is my first time with hair extensions and it’s been a great experience, they’re comfortable and Lexie told me exactly how to take care of them and get the most life out of them! The hair stylists at The Craft Atelier are INCREDIBLE. The environment is clean, welcoming, and really wonderful to exist in and take photos in! The location is off pleasure house road so it’s easy to get too with a big parking lot. In addition to the great location and environment the stylists ensure your experience is excellent complete with complimentary snacks and beverages. The stylists are extremely experienced and ALWAYS get my hair to exactly where I want it. Personally, I am a blonde who occasionally does color and my hair has never looked better, even after some washing and fading. I recommend this hair salon to all of my virginia beach and norfolk friends and cannot say enough good things about the ladies there. If you are in the hampton roads area looking for a hairstylist, you have found the perfect place! Thanks for everything!

Jenna is amazing at her work! She did a full color fade with cut and style and I would post photos but it's not letting me! I've seen Lexi in the past and she is also amazing at what she does. This place is worth going to, vibes and talent unmatched.

Love love love love this place more than anything!! Been with Lexie for around 10 years now having my hair colored by her and it’s always been such a good experience! She also knows what she’s doing when it comes to extensions. I can vouch for her being gentle and knowledgeable in her application and very informative with how to care for your extensions at home. Jenna has cut layers in my hair and she is so so sweet and quick with the cuts!! My layers came out SO CUTE and definitely gave me a confidence boost. If you’re not seeing these ladies you’re missing out!!

first time here, i found them on instagram. i was so nervous because i havent gotten my hair done by anyone (except myself) in like 10 years. but i took the chance and im SOOOO glad i did. i got my hair cut by the lovely Jenna. Her vibe is OUTSTANDING! Ive never been so comfortable with a stranger! she really took her time to create her masterpiece, and i couldnt be any more happier with it. i didnt get exactly what i asked for in the picture, I GOT SOMETHING SO MUCH BETTER! 😍 i feel so confident. i couldnt thank her enough. 😘 i cannot wait for her to dye my hair. come here for your hair needs! disappointment isnt in their dictionary 🥰🥰

I’ve been going to Jenna for about a year now and this girl is the ONLY person in the area I’ve let touch my hair in the six years I’ve lived here. Jenna has done my hair many times and I am always blown away. I love giving her my colors and having her pick the placement. Always super happy. Her clipper cuts are quality cuts as well. She doesn’t do anything half way.

Saw Jenna for cut and color and she is beyond amazing. She is so thoughtful and listens to you when you are explaining what you want. She never talked over me and let me explain what I wanted first. The whole experience was more than I ever expected and so glad that I found this place. I will be a regular now. The space is decorated so cute and everyone seemed so kind.

I’ve been seeing Jenna for years! She’s the only person who I trust to color and cut my hair, aside from myself. For my wedding I wanted a pink root with platinum blond and Jenna definitely delivered! My grandmother, who dislikes vivids, even loved it! She does a beautiful job with natural colors, but her work with vivids and unique shades is my favorite! I haven’t been to her new salon, but plan on coming by once my hair grows out. I usually keep it in a pixie, and she colored it in a way that it continued to look great even when I cut my hair later that month.

I found The Craft Atlier after another salon left my hair feeling lifeless. Lexie communicated with me through social media and text to best understand my full hair history and my hair goals. I was initially looking for a quick fix but found my forever salon. Lexie is a hidden gem; she really takes the time to listen to you and understand what look you’re trying to accomplish. She’s even incredibly honest when she doesn’t feel that she’s the best person for something, which I appreciate. If she doesn’t think the outcome is achievable, she’s always ready to give a healthier and more achievable compromise! I’ve never felt so comfortable in a salon, and I absolutely love my hair every time I leave the shop!

Really disappointed in the lack of communication. Lexie had to reschedule last minute which was okay, things happen, but completely ghosted me and went MIA after I asked when I could come in or what day would work. I was really looking forward to getting my hair done by her because she’s super talented, but definitely not okay to reschedule then ghost someone who’s had an appointment set with you for a month. I feel like I wasted a lot of time waiting for a response when I could’ve booked with someone else.

Today was my first visit and this is hands down THE best salon I’ve ever been to! Lexie is AMAZING at her craft! I let her have creative freedom but gave her a general idea of what I wanted for my hair. She gave me the game plan for my hair and worked her magic. She did such an outstanding job at lifting my hair without it feeling fried or gummy. It feels healthier than when I first got there. I recommend this salon to anyone. The aesthetic of the salon made me feel so comfortable and she gave me the one-on-one attention that gets missed when going to large salons. I LOVE this place and can’t wait for my next appointment🖤

From the start, I had a good feeling about Lexie and she delivered!! She was very sweet at the consult, and walked me through everything. I was very impressed by her attention to detail which I have never experienced at any other salon. She was very considerate and understanding through the whole appointment. Lexie and Kaitlyn are absolutely phenomenal in their craft! Both wonderful women who make you feel so comfortable right when you walk in.
