I have gone to Ashlee for haircuts for 2 1/2 years. I have always done my own color successfully without her involvement. At my last haircut she told me to start using 20 volume developer for my color instead of 30 which I had been using. When I did the next root touch up, my hair turned out extremely dark. I came in to her for a color correction and she proceeded to bleach my roots and added a toner. I left thinking it had been fixed. The next time I washed my hair the toner turned into gel upon water contact and the toner washed out. I came in to her again and was treated so poorly. Her first response was to stand 5 feet away and say she could not see a problem. Complete gaslighting. Then she proceeded to tell me there was not much she could do to fix it. Then she involved a coworker who was even more disrespectful than she was (didn't think that was possible). I left in tears because of how disrespectfully I was treated. Even though the entire problem started with her recommending something she should not have. She is completely unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and NOT knowledgeable. DO NOT LET ASHLEE TOUCH YOUR HAIR!!! She should not be presenting herself as knowledgeable and will treat you back with gaslighting and disrespect. As for the coworker, suffice it to say he was a complete oxygen thief! DO NOT GO TO CUT & COLOR ROOM. There are a million other choices. Save yourself the trauma and anxiety of having someone literally ruin your hair.

I’ve been coming to see Ashlee at the cut and color room for a little over two years now and there is no one else I trust more with my hair! She has never steered me wrong and I always leave feeling like a celebrity 🙌🏻

This rating is not only for my regular stylist but all the staff. Everyone is engaged with their clients and they listen and appear to work together with beautiful results. I feel they are reasonably priced.

I went to get a specific haircut and style, I brought a photo of what I wanted, and they assigned me to Christine. When I arrived I showed her the photo several times and told her that I wanted it exactly the same but a little longer. While she was cutting my hair I noticed that her work was not coming out well and I let her know, I told her that she could trim it more to give it the shape I wanted. She said ok, that she would dry it first and then see if she needed to trim the hair more. When she dried it she barely trimmed the ends very little without yet giving it the desired shape. She began to dry my hair in a very different way than the cut I showed her. She left it straight and in the photo you could clearly see that it was a layered cut with a lot of volume. She said she would shape it with the flat iron and for that she would charge an additional $10, and then she asked again what did I want her to do with the flat iron? to which my daughter told her to give it volume of course... and Cristine proceeded to do some curls with it, leaving some parts of my hair straight and other parts half curly... a total disaster!! And she asked me what I thought, I showed her again the photo that I brought and told her clearly that what she did to my hair WAS NOT THE SAME AS THE HAIRSTYLE IN THE PHOTO!! I got up and already knowing that she was incapable and that she clearly DOES NOT see well nor know what she was doing, I went to the cashier and complained with the photo in my hand and pointing out that that was never the same as the dull and boring job that the girl did to me!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE, AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

Excepcional customer service from all the staff. Ashlee is amazing, she has been doing my hair color/ cut for many years now, she listens to my choices, gives good advice so I Iook / feel amazing when I leave the salon

The Cut & Color Room meets all my needs on a regular schedule. The personnel from receptionists to all the stylists are welcoming and friendly. My stylist, Janna, has provided excellent services by listening to my wants, providing her own advice and knowledge, and (then) executing the experience with warmth and professionalism. I recommend The Cut & Color Room. (And), you'd be fortunate to have the services of Janna to take care of you.

Second shop I drove 20+ minutes to only to find out they do not have honest and truthful hours listed. As the employees left early because it was dead…. Unbelievable that you would put your establishment in a situation where you can’t hold yourself to your public listed standards. Dishonest and untrustworthy establishment in my opinion.

I am a snow bird. Ashleigh welcomed me with open arms and made me feel right at home, not to mention her skill as a colorist and stylist! The best! I always walked out feeling way better than when I walked in and always looked forward to my monthly appointments. If you’re looking to bring a little bit of home with you when visiting Florida this is the place to be bar none!

Ashlee is my stylist and she is wonderful. I drive from Jacksonville Fl every 5 weeks after moving from the area. She is kind and thoughtful and really wants to please you with her service. My hair always looks great! A real Beautifier!

I’ve been coming to Josh at The Cut & Color Room for many many years. He’s taken care of my hair as well as both of my teens. I went through a stressful Covid hair loss episode a few years back and he helped me to navigate the healthiest way of getting my hair to grow back and look great in the meantime. (Was even a shoulder to cry on! 😅) Jacqui at the front desk is fantastic as well. I’ve needed a couple appointment change ups and they did their best to squeeze me in and make it work! Highly recommend ✨

This lovely God sent Salon is beyond any 5 stars I could give! Ms. Mildred is a hair Goddess. I had to come to her after a horrible experience with another salon that I had to settle for because Ms Mildred was busy the day before. I called her to explain my mistake and she immediately told me to come to her shop and that when the MAGIC HAPPENED!! I have tears of joy writing this. It is so hard to find great customer service and well as someone that takes value in the craft. Ms Mildred Thank You so so so so much and look forwarded being on the VIP List and I will be seeing you next month as scheduled.

This salon is hidden in a nice quiet place which was good for me to destress. I originally went in for a simple hair cut but Ashlee helped me figure out something better and just know this is the place to get a haircut at!
