The lovely facial I received from Julia was exactly what I’d hoped for. Her gentle, competent hands soothed my skin with needed nourishment and massaged the tight muscles in my neck and shoulders. Her pleasant and attentive manner, with follow up suggestions for aftercare were much appreciated. The atmosphere in the treatment room was also very peaceful and contributed to making my mind and body totally relaxed.

I have been a long time client and am finally commenting on the lack of respect your staff shows by their loud chatter and goings on when not in treatment rooms with a customer. There may be discreet signage for the clients to have soft voices, but apparently this only applies to those paying for services. I felt like I was at a cocktail party yesterday when I was having a long anticipated foot masssge in the communal treatment area. My therapist, the wonderful Hannah, even went to the staff room to ask them to quiet down, but it lasted literally three minutes. This is a spa, right? I couldn’t even hear the lovely music. Quite some time ago, I bought my wife a gift certificate for a massage a Dragontree. Our schedules are busy and it took a while for her to finally book her appointment since I wanted to make sure I was available to drive her home so she could contintue to stay relaxed after her massage. 36 hours before her appointment she woke up sick and called to reschedule first thing, literally as soon as humanly possible. She had to leave a voicemail explaining the situation. Hours later she received a voicemail in return stating that they would be charging the card on file for 50% of the cost of the treatment for canceling within 48 hours. Seriously? I understand it’s a stated policy, but I’ve also managed customer service teams long enough to know exceptions aren’t difficult to make especially when a customer’s primary concerns are the health and safety of my team. I’ve already looked into the policies of other spas in town and have found a number of them are more reasonable. I guess going forward, I’ll spend my money with them.

I loved every experience: the massage, the body brushing, the facials, the foot baths! It was a great celebration for my friend's birthday! The people were lovely, the atmosphere was soothing and calming, and I truly felt pampered and cared for. Worth every single penny! It was a phenomenal experience and I'm excited to do it again.

I have been going to this spa for years - when Brianna created this PDX spa with her partner at the time, and before she moved to Colorado. I was raised on massage (and my father was a massage therapist). I also receive massage all over the world in my work travels. I had today the absolute worst massage I have had in probably six years here today with Emily. She is a kind human and good energy, but a sub-par massage therapist. At several points her nails were digging into my hips and the massage just not worth $198.00 with tip! She is green. She needs a lot of training. I asked the receptionist if she was experienced when I booked. I heard them telling someone on the phone when I checked out that of course they are experienced. I used to love this place, but please pass - not a spa any longer. The quality is just not delivered here anymore. I am so sad.

I just had an amazing half hour that transformed my day - and my body! A good friend made an appointment for the two of us at The Dragontree for a service called "Pad Abhyanga" - a gentle foot and lower leg massage. I have sensitive feet and was a little anxious but the woman who gave me my massage (Heather - excellent!) told me it would be very soft - no deep tissue work. I was able to close my eyes and relax completely. It was only a half hour but I have been relaxed ever since! The room was elegant and comfortable, the scents - delicious (and I'm scent-sensitive), and my friend who had just flown from Portugal to NYC to Portland felt relaxed and refreshed. Her therapist did an equally great job - McKenzie. I highly recommend The Dragontree for a body treatment of any type. I trust them!

What a wonderful experience and I was surprised how large the facility was, it does not appear so from the outside. I loved the saunas and the cucumber water was delicious and Kylene gave me one of the best facials I've ever had in my life! will definitely be coming back

The new Sanctuary space in Boulder is magnificent!!! Such a gem! I had such an amazing and relaxing time moving between the cold plunge, hot tub, sauna, and salt room. Absolutely a treat for your nervous system and soul! AND the amazing products in their retail section are so special... perfect gifts for yourself or someone dear.

I enjoyed the pain reducing foot bath and it worked for my plantar fasciitis! I have had no pain in the bottom of my foot the day after treatment. I already recommended it to another friend. We will definitely be visiting in the near future.

I had a lovely 90 minute prenatal massage with Hannah! She paid very close attention to detail and made sure I was comfortable. It was such a lovely, relaxing massage. The locker room was clean and had a lot of nice details! I also loved the waiting room and was so relaxed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Some of the best deep tissue work I've ever had. I left the room barely able to walk my muscles felt so relaxed. The sauna and shower afterward are a real treat. A gift certificate to this place is a gift that will certainly be appreciated. (Thanks to my wife!)

I got a Gift card from a work colleague I decided to get a facial as I had never had one professionally . It was simply wonderful better than I imagined. Part of the facial was hand and shoulder massage I got the Day dream facial which was 30 min and Julie who did my facial said full hour involves more massage. I felt completely comfortable and respected by all the staff. The atmosphere feels like a spiritually uplifting , tranquil and calming environment. I highly recommend this spa! I have been to a few spas and this is the best I have experienced

I've been coming to Dragontree on and off for years and I always have a great experience. On my most recent visit I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Lee and it was probably the best massage I've ever had. As a mother of 2 school-age kids, a visit to Dragontree was exactly what I needed after the madness of hosting family for xmas. The front desk women were both so kind and welcoming and were the icing on the cake of an all around wonderful experience. I can't wait to return!

This is a holistic spa, and to be honest I was skeptical at first (because I'm always skeptical of "woo-type things"). However, I am happy to report that I was dead wrong. I don't know about chakras or energy or karma or what-have-you, but no one can convince me that what I experienced at this spa wasn't demonstrably beneficial! I got the Dragontree Massage package which included a Swedish massage with aromatherapy and a foot soak. This was my first time getting a professional massage, so I was nervous and unsure of how to conduct myself. It was smooth sailing from the moment I walked in. Everyone did an excellent job of shepherding me through the process, including the two kind ladies at the front desk. Two things really impressed me: First, the dressing room. Before and after your massage you can spend time in a beautiful dressing room with hot showers, a dry spa, and all the toiletries you might need. Lotion, oils, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, you name it. All of the toiletries are very high quality as well. However, the thing that impressed me most was the availability of hair oil and a stronger holding spray. These were perfect for my ethnic hair! I am of mixed race, and my hair is VERY curly. I have never - EVER - been to a space with products that work for my hair. I've been to tons of hotels, resorts, and locker rooms which always have products available for "normal" (i.e, European) hair. I don't wash my hair in these spaces because I know they won't have the products I need. Without a decent holding spray and oil, washing my hair leaves it dry, brittle and tangled. Having these products here meant I could wash my hair like everyone else. It meant so much to me. Second, my massage therapist Rob. He was SO skilled, and even now (the next day) I can still feel the effects of his work. My entire body feels so much lighter. The Swedish massage was TRANSCENDENT. I didn't know my body was capable of feeling so good! I felt almost embarrassed by how good it felt! I am in awe at how effective his methods were. It felt like he knew my body better than I do. I guess I just didn't realize how intensely good a massage could feel. It made me want to learn massage therapy so I could make people feel that way too. The Dragontree's mission statement says they want to, "Create a more peaceful world through more peaceful individuals." Rob embodies that mission through his work. On my way home from The Dragontree, someone cut me off in traffic. I couldn't have cared less. I felt like everything would be okay no matter what. Thank you, Rob!

This spa is the best! It is located in downtown Portland. The sauna, massage, and foot bath I highly recommend. Incredible customer service, and they offer several different add-ons.
