I’ve been going to Jordan for years, and he always exceeds my expectations! He recently did hair painting on my blonde hair, and it turned out absolutely perfect. The color is so natural, and my hair looks incredibly healthy and vibrant. Jordan’s skills and attention to detail are unmatched. I always leave feeling my best. Jordan gave me the most BEAUTIFUL color I have ever had. With my wedding coming up in 2 weeks, I was in the best hands possible for dying my hair blonde balayage. Not only was the process quick and easy, but he communicated with me along the way and made me feel so comfortable during the process. I couldn’t be happier with my blonde balayage color! Best hair colorist in SOHO.

Jordan is so amazing. He has been doing my balayage for two years now and he’s great about helping me achieve a cut/color that will grow out nicely as I typically only bleach my hair once every 4-6 months. The salon is adorable and in a really convenient location. Love!

The best hairstylist in SoHo I’ve worked with. I recently had an incredible experience with Jordan. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered valuable suggestions that truly enhanced the final looks. The cut and color for both of my looks exceeded my expectations ! After trying so many different hair salons in NYC, I finally found my “the one”. Hands down TDR is the best salon!! I went for a color correction and Christian not only explained the process but he made sure I got I what I really wanted. I am in love with my hair!!! He is truly the best colorist in NYC!! Not to mention Olivia’s blowout is the best one I’ve gotten so far! I will def go back!

I had an amazing experience with Tahlya! I did an extreme hair color change from natural dark brown to bright crazy red and it is spectacular looking! I also had a great time during the process and (not so) secretly wish Tahlya could be my best friend. I did my research thoroughly before picking this salon and I will never go any where else. I have been coming here for over a decade, and without a doubt, it is the best salon I’ve been to. The small group of artists at The Drawing Room provide excellent and consistent results, and it’s always a joy when I have an appointment. Christian has been my colorist since he moved to New York from Italy, many years ago, and I trust him implicitly. Hands down the best colorist I’ve ever had; I am constantly complimented on my hair. He is very talented and also a warm and lovely person. When I cut my hair, I book with either Adriano or Tahlya, whichever has availability when I’m in New York. They are both so talented; I know I am in great hands with either. I highly recommend this salon and their fantastic staff. They are a cut above the rest. Pun intended.

Have only had fabulous experiences at the Drawing Room! Not only is the space incredibly clean and the staff friendly and inviting, but my colorist Victor and the various stylists that have cut my hair consistently do amazing work. The Drawing Room sets a clear standard for excellence, and I can always trust that I will leave feeling and looking 1000x better than when I arrived. I tell all my friends to come here & I cannot recommend it enough!

I can't say enough about how amazing this salon is. I was researching the best places in NYC for air touch (a very time consuming hair coloring technique that is not commonly practiced), and I stumbled upon The Drawing Room. I worked with their air touch specialist, Christian, who was absolutely fantastic in every way. I have had air touch done on my hair before, but many stylists have not been the most patient or precise with the technique as it takes about 5-6 hours on my hair. Christian was METICULOUS. He talked me through his process step by step so I knew what was going on, and he was clearly extremely passionate about his job. He does everything in his power to ensure a seamless blend of color and he is a true professional. It is probably the best color I have ever had on my hair. Beyond Christian's amazing work, the salon itself is the most inviting space I've seen in New York. Everyone who works here is extremely friendly and whenever a stylist has a moment to spare, they sort of drift by their coworkers to help with their clients. It really does seem like a family and you can feel that energy when you walk in. I've been in twice, and each time I was offered something to drink upon entering, had my coat and bag placed somewhere safe and then returned to me at the end of the appointment, and was asked several times throughout the appointment how I could be made more comfortable. Everyone here makes you feel really special. I came in for my appointment after a long hard week and I can truly say my spirits were lifted because of they way I was treated here. If you are looking for amazing hair and kind professional stylists, this is 100% the place to go. I can't recommend it enough! (Special thank you to Christian, you are the best!) 6/5 stars.

I recently did my keratin here. This was my second time doing keratin at drawing room. Victor was so sweet and amazing ,he did both my keratins and he even did cutting as complimentary when i asked him last minute.Staff is caring and the atmosphere is calm. Time flies even during time consuming procedures.Loved it. The place has become my go to trusted place for anything hair related!

Le salon est juste sublime et la qualité du service est incroyable ! Les coiffeuses se sont montrées extrêmement gentilles et compréhensives avec moi sachant que j'étais venue en touriste. Celle qui m'a fait la coloration été très à l'écoute et a parfaitement su réaliser ce que je voulais, la couleur est juste parfaite :D + le brushing était incroyable lui aussi, mes cheveux sont vraiment magnifiques grace à vous, je recommande ce salon 1000 fois à qui cherche un service de qualité ;) PS : les thés sont super bons

I went to Olivia for a haircut and highlights and couldn’t be happier with the results. The highlights turned out great. The color she chose really compliments me and my natural hair color. The salon uses high quality products. Plus, I love how you get a free clean-up appointment a few weeks after your haircut. I recommend Olivia for a great haircut and/or color!

Olivia is the best hair color artist in New York. I have tried many places but I have never been as happy as now. Olivia had created an amazing balayage for me, and then we worked with highlights, framing, roots maintenance throuhgout the year. My hair is healthy and colors blend seamlessly! Olivia is also a very kind and happy soul, we have nice conversations. Highly recommend Olivia!

This is my second time going to the drawing room and I won’t be going anywhere else to get my hair colored. My stylist was Olivia both times, as requested! She is the main reason I love this place. She’s not only amazing at her job but a lovely human as well. I have nothing but good things to say about her. My bangs were cut poorly before this, but Adriano managed to save them and Christian dyed my hair just the way I wanted. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I came in with over 5 months of growth and Suzy took my natural black hair, touched up my roots, and freshened up my blonde. I’ve never loved it so much! Can’t recommend Suzy enough!

I had a lovely session with Tahlya! I went from black hair to platinum blonde in one session, and my hair still felt healthy afterwards. She is an ideal hairstylist in all the ways. She listens sincerely and asks all the right questions, and is transparent throughout the entire process. In terms of her skill, she is so meticulous, and very thoughtful with each step of the process as she clearly takes time and energy to individualize her decisions to each client . I felt at ease in her hands. I absolutely love my hair, she listened to my vision and executed it in a way that exceeded my expectations.

I love my new hair color all thanks to my hair colorist Suzy. I color my hair often and instead of my regular balayage I wanted a vibrant copper from her. I explained her my preference. Suzy showed me her color palettes, how the color will turn out on my hair and started the process. I am very delighted with the result. The new look compliments me better then what I had expected. Also my hair never felt so healthy, shiny and smooth. Definitely going back to Suzy again.

The best Salon, with caring staff and amazing service. Christian did my hair haighlights and finally I could get my dream haircolor (My hair is dark and I always wanted to get bright blond ash highlights). He knows well what he is doing and is very attentive to all details, making sure the clients are happy with their hair. Highly recommend!!!

This is my third time working with Suzy for keratin bond extension and she is THE BEST in New York City! It can take several hours, but the time flies and truly passes quickly. The treatment stays for a few months and I always look forward to coming back. Tyler, who is the salon’s client lead, is the absolute best — so clear, warm and always helpful.

WOW!!! FANTASY COLOR FULL HEAD OF HIGHLIGHTS+ CUT=AMAZING!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND The Drawing Room exceeded all my expectations in every way--from the cut and color to the lovely staff. Tyler, the manager, had to hold my hand through several phone conversations before I committed to coming. I was doing a fantasy color (PURPLE) from my dark brown hair, so of course I was nervous. He assured me it would be great-and he was right. TAHLYA is a HAIR GODDESS (she's a Goddess in person too!). She is a colorist and she cut my hair also. I immediately felt at ease when I met her. She took the time to understand what I wanted, worked so efficiently and was such a doll. I was more than happy with the outcome! The purple was a detailed process to achieve (single process and full head of fantasy colored highlights), and the end result is fantastic. The Drawing Room truly gave me the best full head of FANTASY COLOR head highlights, and I've been to the best---nothing compares!! The color is amazing. I will upload a picture as soon as I can. I am so excited BECAUSE I have been to all the famous salons, and never had anyone understand and execute the cut and FANTASY COLOR as she did. My beautiful purple color was complimented with her beautiful haircut. I have never had anyone cut my hair just as I wanted it on their first time, but she did! The staff is so lovely, helpful and caring, too. I finally found my "Forever Hair Home!!!" Great, fun staff and Tahlya is simply amazing at color and cut, and just so talented. I was so hesitant to go, and now I can't wait to go back. You will not be disappointed in this place--it's a hidden GEM in the middle of Spring Street. THANK YOU TAHLYA AND TYLER!!! :).
