I was searching for a new hairstylist, positive google reviews in my area led me to Dee Brooks! For over a decade I hadn’t been able to find anyone to cut my hair the way I wanted. Today, Dee asked me how I’d like to have my hair cut. She listened to my requests, & she delivered! She chatted with me my entire appointment like she’d known me forever, & it was a very comfortable environment. What a relief it is to find THE person to return back to when I need my hair cut again. This is the first time in my adult life that I’ve paid, & felt it was worth the money!! I left happy with my hair exactly how I had hoped. Thank you Dee! Now go schedule your appointment with her 😉 You won’t regret it.

Dee is super knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. I never leave unhappy with my hair. I learn something about the products or how to better take care of my hair every time I go see her.

I have been a client for several years with Dee. After 20+ years of being a grown up, I have found someone I feel comfortable with. She does an outstanding job with my hair! I have hair that a lot of stylists like to coat in product and it drives me insane. She listens to what I want and figured out the best way to make it happen, and uses minimal product. The shop is clean and tidy and I have seen the other stylists do amazing work (stunning color work and cuts). I make appointments in advance and appreciate the reminder texts.

Kristen is amazing! I went there with a Groupon for cut and highlights and found my new salon and stylist! It is such a happy place, and it has a great relaxed vibe, which made me feel at home. Sometimes I don't feel comfortable at the more modern places that overcharge, so I was looking for something just like The Edge. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a place that feels like a longtime friend! And Kristen is so talented and takes time to make sure your hair is just how you want it!

Extremely awkward experience. Brand new in town and I was looking for a new stylist. I told her exactly what i wanted which was hightlights and hair cut, showed her the picture. Seemed pretty standard, i have been doing the same style for years.The stylist immediately started getting nervous and asking another stylist questions. Proceeds to put my hair up in hair clips. for the next 20 minutes. Goes back outside where the other stylists are smoking. Another stylist asks me , "what's wrong hunny"? I said, I'm kind of nervous for her to do my hair. "She said, yeah she keeps messing up". I asked the salon owner if I could please have another stylist. She got super offended and told me she trains all of her stylists. Blah blah blah. The stylist was obviously not ready to be on her own and lacked the confidence to do her job. I'm sorry, I'm not going to let someone inexperienced practice on me. I'm glad I trusted my got and left.

After a slight hiccup with the appointment time, Khristie did my hair. She went over and above to make up for the earlier misunderstanding. She listened to exactly what I wanted and my hair looks PERFECT. I would highly recommend this salon.

The Edge Salon did my hair and make up for my wedding, along with 5 others. They did a great job on both hair and makeup and were fun to spend the day with. Scooter Ray (makeup artist) is a true artist and finds a way to enhance your features without being overpowering. Morgan (hair stylist) interpreted my vision for my updo perfectly but made something unique. I felt like they listened and then improved on what I wanted. They were kind, warm, and funny! The 3 stars comes in with scheduling. I was originally scheduled for 10:30 to be done by 3. They asked to move it up to 9 because they needed more time. It became clear that I was moved up because the team needed to go to a conference. As such, everyone (including myself) were done by 1 PM and they left. We were all stuck sitting trying not to mess up our hair and make-up or leave the room for 2+ hours. We didn't have lipstick for touch ups, etc. So, the fun experience ended up ending in a boring, anxiety inducing 2 hours of nothing (and the morning started quite early for no reason). Knowing how big a wedding day is, I was disappointed in the last minute change that affected the tenor and tone of the whole day. That being said, the stylist themselves were talented and great. Just be wary of scheduling issues if you are doing a wedding party.

Wonderful place. Morgan did my hair today and she was amazing! Super sweet and helped me go out of my comfort zone with curtain bangs and layers. I absolutely love it, I'm definitely coming back!
