Another absolutely amazing experience with results that made me walk out the door feeling confident. Gianna is so easy to sit with. I love the attention she gives and her patience makes me feel comfortable discussing my hair concerns. We did a glossing treatment and a blowout. I love the color! I will continue to work with her to reach my hair goals. Mallory has also been part of the process and it is nice to have some face time with the Owner of the salon. She gave me the haircut of my curly head dreams, but that deserves a review of its own.

Five years ago, I was one of the unfortunate ones that contacted severe Covid. Through everything I lost much of my hair. The Gilded Lily has worked with me these past five years to help me gain back my hair as it was before Covid. In November, they fitted me with my very first Halocouture.! This halo is so easy to put in my hair and so comfortable to wear! I couldn't be happier with the service I have ALWAYS received from The Gilded Lily. Love this salon, its atmosphere and staff. Thanks for getting me "fall" ready and giving me beautiful hair again.

Always have an excellent experience at The Gilded Lily, and Stephanie has been an incredibly thoughtful and talented stylist to me these past 2+ years. She has evolved my hair into exactly what I was hoping to get it to, and is so attentive to my areas of concern and ideas. I am visiting Chicago for a few months and needed a root touch up for the holidays. I had driven by the Gilded Lilly a couple times and checked out their website/reviews and I'm so glad I did! From beginning to end this salon makes you feel special and welcomed. Mallory promptly answered my text, took my info and smoothly got me booked for the right service. When I arrived, Stephanie greeted me so warmly and from the moment I sat at her station, it was just a great experience. Great color match, awesome shampoo and gloss. So relaxing. Stephanie is super client focused and did a great job. Highly recommend The Gilded Lily!

I just got THE BEST treatment at the Gilded Lily by Gianna! I had what I can only describe as a hair-scalp-resetbutton spa! My curls were insane w easy styling. I styled it straight at home a few days later and my scalp felt healthy, my hair was shiny and sooo soft. Still feeling soo good. This was done after 10 days of a sunny vacation followed by a slap on my face 10 degree weather. I can’t wait to get my hair cut in February with Stephanie. I’m sooo adding this treatment (and eyebrow tinting) to my appt. Front desk is always so accommodating too. Greeted me with lovely mint tea on a freezing afternoon.

I had such a great experience at the Gilded Lily! Booking an appointment was so easy and the customer service was great. Gianna did my hair. I got a balayage and Gianna’s blending skills are amazing. She made my hair look exactly how I wanted it to look. She was so kind and professional and did such an amazing job! 10/10 recommend!

I love the Gilded Lily! Stephanie did a beautiful job with my hair cut and color. Being a person who is apprehensive about drastic change and upkeep, I voiced my concerns about not eliminating or hiding my grays but to blend them in - she created a look that was spot on. I absolutely love it. The color is natural, the cut is lovely, and it was (as always) a relaxing and wonderful appointment! I also tinted my brows for the first time and I will never go back, they look so good!! On top of the great service, the vibe in the salon is so calming, I feel amazing when I leave. Thank you Gilded Lily for another fabulous experience!!

I was very disappointed to learn that my haircut would not be done by the stylist booked because Katy was not skilled in cutting short hair. This resulted in an additional fee of $20+ for the haircut with Stephanie. This should have been handled correctly when booking. I did not want to penalize Stephanie by making a stink at the time.

Fantastic experience - Stephanie is extremely knowledgeable and I felt so well taken care of with her expertise and experience. I went on a weekday afternoon when it was not too busy and really enjoyed chatting with Stephanie and the rest of the staff. And obviously - love my haircut :)

Let me just say that this salon is by far the most impressive experience I have had out of almost 15 different salons I’ve gone to. To start the attention to detail is immaculate. Not only is the space itself cozy, welcoming and non pretentious, but so are the people who work there. STEPHANIE was so amazing. Being a first time client I came in with a lot of inspo photos and she not only took the time to listen but also spent a while explaining her thought process to me which was so reassuring. My tea was refilled without me asking, I was given the best shampooing, LAVENDER EYE MASK cmon. Oh and the shampoo bowl has a little headrest for you which I have NEVER experienced before anywhere. I was new to my curly hair routine and she gave me a little tutorial and made me feel so capable of recreating it on my own. She gave me exactly what I asked for and I can’t wait for my follow up visit!

The staff are amazing and very attentive. Kati is phenomenal and took her time with me and my hair. She is a good listener and honest about what an idea or vision will look like versus reality, considering my hair was in a growing out stage from a horrible cut I had before (not from Kati or this salon). Both times I have been to The Gilded Lily, I was taken care of by wonderful women and received haircuts exactly as requested! In my last visit with Kati, she even trimmed it dry first to ensure I liked the length with my hair in its natural wavy state, even going a bit longer than I requested to start so I could ensure it would be the length I wanted. It was very thoughtful and I left a happy customer. Great salon and highly recommend!

I lost my trust in hair stylists and hair saloons last year. I searched for a long time to get someone who will listen, but also someone who can give me good suggestions. I really liked the idea of the consultation before the first appointment. I wanted to get hair color, haircut and some treatment done. Although my hair are curly and frizzy, I'm not a fan of keratin treatments, as I had it done in 2 different facilities and both failed while following carefully all the recommendations. I was scheduled with Kati. My search is completed! Kati is INSANELY TALLENTED. She did everything I asked for and beyond. The color she created is unbelivable. I asked for boending in my greys but keeping my natural color, not too orange highlights, low maintenance so I do not need to come back every 6 weeks with horribly looking roots. She did all of that! The color is gorgeous and I got so many complements. She shaped my hair just perfectly. And after a scalp treatment and steam treatment my hair are shiny, soft and even after a nightsleep look great. It took me 12 years after relocating from Europe to find the right place and stylist and I am so greatfully relieved I finally found it.

Book your appointment with Kati - she is the TRUTH. I have really long hair which I've always gotten trimmed, but it has been a while since I've had a haircut that I loved. I visited Gilded Lily for the first time yesterday and Kati did an amazing job with my hair. She heard me when I said I needed a trim, but wanted to keep the length, and then suggested beautiful long and face framing layers. I left her chair feeling amazing, and she recommended a great product after she listened to my normal hair routine. The cherry on top of this beautiful salon is the team; all 3 ladies who were working were so wonderful, helpful and kind. What a lovely find in Logan Square!
