In town for a work trip and was having issues with tight hamstrings. Luckily Jacob had an opening. Based on other reviews I felt confident that he would be able to give me some relief. The other reviews were spot on and I had a fantastic session. I explained my issues and he went to work. The next morning, hamstrings were super loose and allowed me to get in a final long run before leaving town. Thanks Jacob!!!

I had a great experience here and Jacob made me feel so comfortable. I let him know that I was having a lot of intense pain in my shoulders and neck due to stress and anxiety, and he did an incredible job of giving this area great attention without neglecting the rest of my body. I've been going to Jacob about once a month for 6 months now and have noticed a drastic improvement in how my muscles have been feeling post massage. I've been running/training for races for 4 years now and thought that the tightness I felt in my legs was just something I had to accept and live with. I recently ran a marathon and might have pulled or strained my hamstring, I've been stretching it out daily with little progress to my flexibility. I had a sport massage session with Jacob yesterday and am happy to report that today I was able to do all my stretches pain free. The results are always better than I expect and its cool to work with someone who is so knowledgeable about their craft.

I've been here a few times, Jacob is amazing, always come back feeling more relaxed than ever, so relaxed I don't think it's safe to drive home after lol. He uses ginger infused oils and sometimes offers things like hot stones and occasionally cupping. Always knows what I need, especially since I have a really bad neck and back. Customer service is great as well, very chill dude. If your looking for a good masseuse that knows what they are doing and can offer tips on how to alleviate pain and tension, go to this guy.

Had a 60 min massage session, and bought another one right after for next time! One of the best massages I've received. Listened and worked on exactly what I needed, Knowledgeable and even provided a few tips to do at home in between sessions. I recommend for everyone!!

I just had an amazing massage from Jacob. I wish I would have booked a longer session. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I came in with a headache and left without one. The ice and hot stone treatment was awesome and the ginger infused towel is a nice touch. I will definitely be coming back.

I recently received a 90 minute massage at The Ginger Root Therapy from Jacob, the owner. I let him know what I wanted to focus on and he made sure to do that. The massage was fantastic and the entire experience was very relaxing. I also had a foot scrub and scalp treatment which I really enjoyed. I will definitely come back to see Jacob again!

I’ve been seeing Jacob for over 2 years, originally for a rotator cuff tendinitis from my job. I’ve tried so many various LMTs to find the one that fits me best as I’m a chiropractor so it’s important to me that the right spots are being released. Jacob has always fixed my problem spots and hasn’t chased pain. If my low back is tight it’s definitely my glutes and pelvis. So I know I can just relax and be the patient for once. I highly recommend him for his amazing skills, easy personality and dedication to his craft!

Jacob is incredible! I am a power lifter and his sports massage was perfect! He had great communication throughout the whole massage to know how much pressure I could tolerate. He definitely found every problem area I had and took his time on every one. The ginger infused towel was the perfect touch to end the massage. Whatever type of massage you’re looking for, Jacob provides a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere! 10/10

Jacob, my massage therapist, was an unexpected surprise. As a woman, I do not see men for massages, but this dude was wonderful. I went in to see him after a very emotional weekend and through his touch and energy, my body was transformed into a state of relaxation and ease I had not felt in a very long time. I left him feeling really calm and focused on the work I had to do that week. Once my schedule was cleared I returned to Jacob on Thursday to refocus my relaxation and somatic experience and prepare for the long trip home. I would recommend Jacob and The Ginger Root Therapy to anyone who wants a healer touching them and helping them return to a place of calm and feeling really healed both emotionally and physically. I had an hour massage today with Jacob and it was a great experience. I usually have a female masseuse, but he was professional & made me very comfortable. He has a unique style that really worked for me, plus the sugar foot scrub was a nice ending. I walked out feeling like a different person and will be returning.
