Highly recommended.!!! I had Nadine and let me tell you she is amazing. She really knows what she is doing. The atmosphere is very calming and the rest of the staff is very friendly. Very clean and just all around great place.

I was excited to have the float therapy. Booked an appointment online however the place was closed. Called and I was told they didn’t have any massage therapist available but I didn’t ask for a massage but floating experience. Anyways the representative told me I had to book an appointment. I told her I did and I have the email confirmation. She said well we are closed. Ty for the none experience and hope I am refunded from the booking.

It seems as though the cafe staff here know only how to interact with a certain demographic, or just generally not well at all. I find it interesting that an establishment advertises itself to be a place "that supports and fosters a sense of mindfulness and peace in the surrounding community", yet the atmosphere and attitudes of staff is cold, rude, and unwelcoming. Disappointingly from people in management positions specifically, as well. I have been here multiple times now, supported through not only food/drink but also product and each time the customer service is lackluster or just flat out uncomfortable to endure. I wanted to continue to enjoy the healthy offerings, but it's not worth the nasty attitude and discomfort that is served with it. Usually I give people in customer service positions grace and understanding for bad days, but this is a reoccurring and shared experience. Giving Tree is becoming known for this. I recommend considering a sensitivity training for your employees, or hiring people that actually uphold company standards as they advertise themselves to be. Very disappointing.

This place is a really stellar local business that I am fortunate to frequent for massages. I love the cozy cafe and shop, and the treatment rooms are really nice. I consider my expectations for massage therapy being pretty high, between what I consider clean for the space and what kind of pressure I ask the therapists to use. Simdri and April are both very talented and excellent at what they do. I am so relaxed when I am there, and I leave feeling great. I would love to try their other services soon!

I had Simdri as my massage therapist (1.5 hrs, swedish massage). She was friendly and professional, had a wonderful firm touch and technique, asked about areas I wanted her to focus on and she prioritised them accordingly. Even loved the cream it was the perfect consistency and she used the perfect amount. Overall had a great experience and will definitely be scheduling with her again!

I used to float here when it opened. I loved it then. It was clean. I recently returned to the are. I went today and it was not the same. The hot water in the shower did not work at all. I had to take an ice cold shower before and after floating The music does not work properly. The towels are not adequate. The room was unclean and there were screws on the floor. I was so disappointed. You can also hear pounding from the fitness class next door. There is a lot going on in one building. Massages, sessions, floating, working out it is unfortunately just not comfortable nor relaxing. So sad that I will have to float somewhere else. There was on staff member working and they were clearly overwhelmed.

Today was my first ever visit for a massage. I had the pleasure of meeting Simdri, and right away I knew I was in good hands. Literally. I've been having lower back discomfort, and she specifically targeted the affected area. Not only did the massage help, she was also a pleasure to talk to and get to know. I highly recommend booking an appointment with her. Thank you for everything!

I did sensory deprivation floating here for the 3rd time yesterday. The first time went okay. Second time was bad, the tank was not functioning properly. Third time was OK. I was disappointed to see that they removed the auxiliary cord which makes for a lot more relaxing experience to play calming music. As well as the intercom was shut down. Which could be extremely dangerous especially in my case being I have multiple health setbacks. DO NOT RUB your eyes while in tank. Goggles being provided would be ideal. Bring your own towels ( they provide two very small ones). The floor can also use more mats, all three times I had to use my towel to wipe the uncovered parts. Overall I do not recommend floating here for a variety of reasons. Most importantly the customer service being poor when they explained my concerns to the manager. The first time she did allow me to try floating again. It was an unpleasant experience as I told her. I asked it I could have a particular refund then she stopped replying to me...

Prenatal massage was great but the flotation tanks are far too hot to be safe for pregnant visitors. I had to get out after only 20 minutes because I was sweating and concerned it was too hot for baby. I was disappointed to still be charged for the full hour. Also was given towels that had a strong mildew odor and felt awkward huddling out to the front desk to ask for new ones sopping wet. They just need to do a better job of informing pregnant floaters that the temperature of the water is above what is recommended for prolonged exposure in pregnancy.

Wonderful atmosphere! Beautiful decor! Comfy couch. Delicious tea (what a selection!) Cute little hidden gem, totally worth finding. They offer so much more than just beverages & food. Lovely variety of local handmade goods for sale, as well as float tanks, in-house counselors and more! Wish there were more community centered wellness hubs like this in our area! ❤️

Absolutely amazing workers are so nice!

My Float Tank (Sensory Deprivation) Experience here was worst case scenario. Attendant forgot to turn off the jets so it was a head bumping into the side hot tub experience basically instead. Attendant apologized for forgetting to turn off the jets but actually laughed out loud in my face when I asked for a rain check. I advise you go elsewhere.

Amazing massage.

Feb 06, 2021

I went to the giving tree with my wife for the both of us to do a float session and get a massage. We arrived at the giving tree and we immediately told that the masseuse called in sick and would have to reschedule. Ok fine, people get sick, especially these days. We still had the float tanks to look forward to. The girl at the counter gave us a quick rundown of how the pods work and that she would turn the jets off after 10 minutes to let us know the session had started. While I was in my pod I was noticing that it was taking quite some time for her to turn the jets off. It's quite difficult to relax and meditate with the light on and the water jets pushing you around the pod. After a while I got fed up and got out of the tank. 30 MINUTES had gone by! This lady completely forgot about us. I tried to get back into a relaxed headspace, but I couldn't at this point, I was too annoyed, and the workout class had started so I could hear all the music and shouting from the instructor. Aside from that, the whole room that the float pod is in is covered in a layer of salt, almost as if there's no ventilation in the room, which happened to be quite stuffy. Overall wouldn't recommend.

This place makes me feel so good, hands down. The people there are super friendly and helpful. The coffee and tea is always great along with everything else they offer on their menu. It's incredible that they participate in art walks, and they have so many services to offer; my favourite being their flotation tanks. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I cannot wait to go back to float again, and of course, grab a tea afterwards. :)
