I always go to Gloss Society for hair color, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Jess is fantastic; she does such a great job, lets me pick her brain about what shampoos I should be using and what not, and is super friendly. Their prices are more than reasonable as well. I couldn't recommend them highly enough

Holly did my Apres Gel-X nails for my Vegas elopement. She was so friendly and professional and made excellent recommendations for the shape and colour. I was beyond satisfied and I’ll be back next time I’m in Pittsburgh!

I love this place SOOO much!!! I started with Kassy for my first ever nail appointment ever. Their online scheduling system is very intuitive and flexible which was great as I went in with massive anxiety. Kassy was so understanding and sweet, and put up with my nervous blathering. My second appointment was for my wedding nails which I absolutely adored! She took my random collage of inspiration and turned them into the perfect set for my big day. Kassy kills it at every appointment and she's so much fun too. Both photos are sets that Kassy did, but I have to add that the photos simply do them zero justice!! I also recently got my hair chopped by Shelby and she was lovely too! I wanted to do a little more adventurous for my new cut but not too adventurous... and she got it down perfect! I love my new hair. I'm always anxious for my first visit at a hair salon but being familiar with the salon due to my nails helped a ton. As far as the salon itself- it's beautiful and chic, very clean, and it's an all-around warm and friendly environment. Everyone is so personable and kind. If you're thinking of coming here, any person there will be a good pick! The Gloss Society is my new beauty hub and I can't wait to come back ❤️❤️

Preface: I'm a mechanic and my skin is exposed to tons of harmful chemicals, dust, debris, and many other things. The Gloss Society was recommended to me for a facial to clean up all the nasty stuff my face is exposed to only a daily basis. The interior of the building is gorgeous and very well put together. Being the only guy in there at the time I was made to feel welcome while waiting for the appointment to start and was greeted immediately only a couple moments after walking through the door. I was introduced to Vi and she walked me through the process of what would be done and also asked me questions about my skin, skincare regiment, and other factors such as profession, exposure to lots of or little sun, etc. She definitely tailors the facial to what your skin will need and what it has been subject to. After discussing the above items she brought me into the room for the appointment and immediately I noticed how the room was setup to be relaxing and comforting. It was extremely clean, as the entire salon is, smelled wonderful and Vi had calming music playing in the background. The whole process took about an hour and it was amazing. My face has never looked and felt so clean. She removed tons of dead skin, blackheads, and other blemishes from areas on my face and neck. Also taking care to keep the skin hydrated and taken care the entire time. Before the appointment ended she was kind enough to do some waxing on one or two areas of my face which at first stung a little but the results are great. Overall I will most definitely be going back every so often to have her take care of my face again. Immediately after the appointment your skin looks fantastic and over the next day or so only continues to look better. Should you be a guy, or anyone really, looking for a little skin care for your face, hands, feet, nails, or whatever The Gloss Society can hook it up. Prices are very reasonable as well although I wouldn't be the go to person to know about salon pricing seeing as it was my first time there. Edit: Unfortunately Vi is no longer at the gloss society but I still reccommend them for any services you may need done.

Danielle (D) did makeup for my wedding (me and 4 bridal party members), and she was amazing! She was very responsive to questions and feedback, and Gloss Society was very easy to work with and made the process of booking and making a day-of schedule so easy. My makeup lasted all day even though I cried so much! D was so much fun and fit right in with how silly my friends were being while we were getting ready. Some people getting makeup done had very minimal experience wearing makeup, and she was so great walking them through the process and working with them so they were comfortable and felt like themselves. I got a glam look with a red lip that lasted all day with minimal need to touch up - whatever lipstick she used never seemed to fade, it was amazing! And the bridal party looks were more soft and natural, so she can definitely do it all. Everyone was comfortable and really enjoyed the experience.

Kylee did my nails. They were wonderful, perfect in fact, but my problem is not about the nails. While getting my nails done I was venting to my nail technician, venting about work, as you typically do. When I left she immediately called my place of work and told them everything I vented about as well as embellish what was actually said during my service. Absolutely no client/technician confidentially. Wildly inappropriate of her and the establishment in a whole. Kylee is a malicious little brat with nothing else better to do that gossip about her clients. Terrible way of conducting business. Terrible, terrible people work here. The owner should be ashamed of herself to have even let this happen under her watch. Like, what is wrong with these people to do such horrendous things to their clients? Like, what type of person dose this? It's a super weird thing to do in the first place. Weird and terrible. And for what? Your own enjoyment. You can't just go around and do mean things to people because you feel like it, Kylee. The gloss society is a place for mean girls. These girls are very ugly, ugly on the inside. And every single person in the south hills should know how unethical and unprofessional the Gloss Society is.

Searching for a new hair stylist is not fun, but I'm so glad I took the leap to Gloss Society! Conveniently located in Greentree. Shelby listened to what I wanted and nailed it! It's such a relief to find a stylist, I will definitely be back.

This is the second time that I have brought Mindy a rough canvas of short, natural nails to work with. She exceeded my expectations and brought my nails back to life each time. Her line work, patience, and attention to detail is amazing. All the ladies here are friendly, welcoming, and amazing at their craft. I highly recommend The Gloss Society Greentree if you're looking for a new chill salon.

Extremely talented ladies that always produce phenomenal work! All of your needs with hair, skin and nails can be met and well surpassed. They are worth going on a waiting list for and even more worth booking a standing appointments with. My schedule and life is pretty crazy but they have always worked with me if an issue comes up. If you really want some incredible work, give these geniuses artistic freedom with your nail art 😉

Sam is amazing! I'd been box coloring my hair since the pandemic began and decided enough was enough and went looking for a new salon. Imagine my surprise when I found The Gloss Society, literally walking distance from my house. I went in with broad ideas on color, some super grey roots and some really fine hair and came out with a gorgeous red with such dimension and vibrancy I'm in love. If I could give 10 stars, I totally would. I've found my forever salon! I can't wait to try out other services as well. It might be dangerous to my budget to have them so close to me, but so worth it. :)
