I had my favorite experience getting a Brazilian today with Lydia at the Grove! This place is cozy, inviting, clean, and all around lovely, and everyone is so sweet!! Lydia is skilled and took her time to make sure the end result was high quality- she is AMAZING! What was going to be a one-off appointment will now be a regular part of my monthly ritual❤️ Thank you Lydia and the Grove for creating a beautiful place to receive the best care!

I had to edit my previous review to update. I went to Emily for my first time treatment with Botox for my upcoming wedding. Two weeks after treatment, I had not received any effect from it. I contacted Emily. She stated that I may be one of those people who are immune to it and do not get any results for it. She offered for me to try Dysport, so I came in for another round. Another week went by after the Dysport injections and this time, half of my face froze. I looked ridiculous. I called Emily after another two weeks as I hoped it would reconcile after enough time for it to work. In response, Emily told me the product just doesn’t work on me, and sorry about that. I couldn’t understand how she could leave me with half of my face frozen. I looked awful. Months later, I went to a plastic surgeon and told him my story. He wanted to try Botox on me one more time, as he felt something wasn’t right with the treatment from Emily. And guess what? IT WORKED! The plastic surgeon believed that Emily/ The Grove Spa were either diluting the Botox or injecting it incorrectly. Whatever happened, Emily did not offer any sort of resolution, and left me feeling humiliated with a half frozen face. Steer clear of The Grove Spa, no matter how good the prices appear to be! You will get much better results elsewhere! Edit as of 9/12/24 The Grove Spa, what a terrible reply. I was informed the Botox most likely would not take effect before my wedding, which is why I did not mention anything further about my wedding; I simply mentioned it as to why I seeked services in the first place. Furthermore, I just reviewed my emails between myself and Emily, and she knew about the Dysport working on only half of my face. She offered the Dysport after the Botox clearly did not work. And then she said “sorry” after the Dysport worked on one side of my face, leaving me looking ridiculous. I can see why you would need to make a claim stating I was after free injections for the world to see, because you have bad business practices. The fact that Botox DID work in another office should concern you, but it did not. I’m glad you responded, so others can see how they will be treated should they visit your “spa”.

This is your sign to book your lash lift! Ever since getting my lashes lifted and tinted, it takes me less time getting ready in the morning and I feel feminine without putting makeup on. Mara was so personal and professional with her services. My favorite part was that she was very thorough with her explanations and provided very useful tips for aftercare. Will be booking again <3

Paige is hands down the best for lashes, I will never stop recommending her to others. She is always so delicate with my eyes and makes sure that I’m having no discomfort with the products applied/silicone thing that holds your lashes up. I am never disappointed with what she does and she’s extremely personable and easy to talk to. She is also super real with recommending products and other services. I’ve been to other spas in the area and no one has ever done a better lash lift and tint than at The Grove.

Paige at The Grove is the ONLY person in KC to go to for your lash lift and tint. She does an incredible job every time. Always the best curl and color, and lasts forever - no chemical burn/smell in the process. The Grove is such a calming, friendly spot; I haven't gotten other treatments here yet, highly recommend based on my view visits so far!

I had Lydia for a bro wax yesterday and loved it! Always so professional and so sweet! Chatted the whole time and am never disappointed with any service at the grove! 10/10 on all fronts! I had a facial AND brow wax with Jennifer and she literally BLEW ME AWAY!!! It was phenomenal and I think it may have changed my life forever. I will definitely be splurging on the next ESPA facial and will be back! Once again exceeded expectations in all categories! I love the grove and won’t take my business anywhere else!

I love to visit this med spa whenever I’m in Kansas City. The spa is very clean, has a relaxing atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. I get my facials with Madison, she is the best and my skin is always glowing after! She is professional, knowledgeable, and explains throughly the benefits of the products she will use. Definitely recommend.
