I called on Friday morning to ask about services and pricing. The lady who answered was very rude and unprofessional. I was very shocked giving the rating. After the brief conversation, I decided to hang up. If that’s how they greet customers, I would not bother getting a hair cut here.

Jo was so amazing to work with!! I went to a different curly hair salon a few weeks prior and wish I had gone to Jo first. I wasn’t super satisfied with the service at the other salon and didn’t get very good curly hair education so I booked some time with Jo in the hopes that the experience would be better. I was so impressed!! She took the time to really understand what I was struggling with in terms of taking care of and styling my hair and did an amazing job of walking me through each step of caring for my hair from wash to style to after-style care. She had some great product recommendations and my hair turned out so much more hydrated and my curls were amazing! Plus she’s a hoot and so easy to talk to!!! FYI I’ve got 3c/4a curly/coily multi-cultural hair and I often struggle to find people who really know what they’re doing with my hair. I 1000% would trust her with my hair again!!! Thanks so much Jo!

I am so happy I found Jo. This is the first time in my 40-year life that someone has taught me how to care for my curls. I am so appreciative, and they look awesome. I have had so many compliments. A couple of other things that matter a lot... this studio is in a nice, safe, and quiet location. Jo keeps her studio very clean, has state of the art equipment, and her pup is so sweet! She is a true professional of her trade. She was willing to review my current products to see what is in them and if they were good for my hair. Super informative. Overall, it was a great experience and worth every penny! Just look at these before and after photos. Definitely the place to go for curls!

I have had curly hair for ages but never learned to take care of it properly. Jo worked magic! I went in with sad, dry, frizzy curls and came out with amazing smooth curly locks. What I loved even more than my hair, though, was the passion Jo has for educating her clients about how to take care of their hair and style it themselves. She isn’t, after all, in my bathroom each day doing my hair for me. I’ve never had a stylist take the time and effort to teach me how to take care of my hair and how to style it myself. 10/10 recommend her for any fellow curly peeps out there!

Jo lit-erally changed my life! She was recommended by a coworker who did not have similar hair so I was a bit leery about going. I was so very happy to be wrong. My first experience with her was amazing. She took the time to teach me about my hair. Really helpful! Knows her stuff. I recommend you buy the shampoo and conditioner line she sells. Innersense has worked wonders on my wifes curls. She likes it better than divacurl.
