Absolutely love this place! First, the vibe in the shop is impeccable, if you're someone who also appreciates an eclectic, spooky aesthetic. Beyond that, the haircut I got was superb! Jessica really took the disaster haircut I walked in with and gave me the mullet of my dreams. It's completely worth it to go to the Hair Dungeon, imo.

I can't say enough great things about The Hair Dungeon! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a fantastic atmosphere and awesome decor. The team here is incredibly professional, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. The owners are both knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, always ensuring every client leaves happy. Jess is absolutely exceptional when it comes to cutting men’s hair. Her attention to detail, skill, and ability to understand exactly what you’re looking for is unmatched. I always request her, and she never disappoints!

Jay Jay was absolutely amazing! He was able to turn my sew in wefts into k tips. Placement is absolutely amazing and seamless- and all done in under 3 hours. Cannot recommend him enough!!

Most wonderful and magical first experience here!! I wanted to ditch the bland hair and switch it up to something funky. Booked a consultation first asked who would be best suited for my desired look (shag/mullet/faux hawk) and they got back promptly and able to get me in next day. I didn’t plan on doing it same day but Jessica had time so we went for it! Jessica was so thorough in her consultation ensuring we were open and honest with one another about how it would look with length curl pattern etc into consideration. I trusted Jessica with this process and so glad I did. They were meticulous and took their time ensuring I was happy with finished look. WILL BE BACK(:

I saw Jess for a short haircut, incredible service from booking to exiting the store. The staff are stupendously friendly and skilled at handling hair. Jess made me feel seen and heard all throughout our appointment and I left extremely satisfied, I’ll definitely be back and I highly encourage everyone to check this place out at least once.

Today was my first time seeing Jess for a feathered, textured shag haircut and she did an amazing job!! I love the layers she put in my hair, and she was so easy to talk to. I've been going to Demisha for years ever since I walked in and asked her to basically shave half my head. I trust her and her extensive knowledge implicitly. The new decor and vibe of the place is great. I'm excited for this salon's future. Give them a try! (And go to Demisha 😁)

Recommend Olga for cuts and styles, not for highlights. I have received great cuts and styles from Olga in the past, and have had a great experience with her. Unfortunately, Olga seems inexperienced in doing hair highlights. She was rough with a towel getting the bleach out, resulting in lots of broken and damaged hairs, used my face as a backboard for brushing on the bleach, and let bleach drip down over the neck of my shirt, ruining it.

Always working with the last minute curveballs I've thrown him over the years too. The new place has a very cool and rustic vibe to it. Jay Jay has been doing my hair for a few years now and couldn’t imagine going to anyone else. I moved to NKY in 2020 and was looking for a new stylist. I am extremely particular about who touches my hair (curly/wavy) and I don’t even tell him what I want anymore he just goes to it and I feel like a million bucks every single time. The Hair Dungeon is the coolest place I’ve ever got my hair cut! The storefront is super cool and draws you in, but the architecture downstairs is even cooler (my favorite) and all their personal touches on the space has made it the coolest, most unique place I’ve ever got my hair cut! Also it’s super convenient, I mean Short Vine, Clifton, we’re all familiar. Love, Love, LOVE Jay Jay!

Jay Jay is the best. I've been seeing him for years now. He's colored my hair, done short haircuts, and long haircuts. I've always been happy with everything he's done. He gives great advice on what you can do with your hair and he's awesome to talk to. I can't recommend the Hair Dungeon enough.

The Hair Dungeon is unlike any other place you can get your hair cut in Cincinnati! The decor is fun and the vibes are great. I’ve been getting my hair cut by the owner for almost 10 years and have never had a bad cut. He’s super skilled with color, too. Highly recommend!!
