Maria is wonderful! She took time to address my concerns about my hair and she had no hesitation to jump right in and fix it and provide recommendations! She took her time and she was very sweet and confident! The salon is every clean and smells really fresh and beautiful. I enjoyed myself and was very happy with the results! I 100% recommend her!

Maria was just fantastic! I had to cut my hair because of some recent weight loss and was really struggling. Maria D was phenomenal. I told her what I like my curls to do, how I wear them typically and what products I currently use. She was able to understand my curl pattern, give me recommendations for clarifying shampoos and give me a great cut that framed my face, kept my length and gave my curls definition. I will be coming back!

I found Maria through a Facebook group where she was recommended as a curl specialist - and that she is!! I’ve got curls underneath but straighter hair on top and I went to see Maria to see what she could do. She recommended a body wave perm to make the top match the bottom and have the consistency I was looking for. It was my first ever perm (or anything serious like this) with my hair so I was a little nervous, but she did a GREAT job. I’m super pleased with the results and highly recommend Maria. It’s a very calming atmosphere and she’s fantastic. 10/10 from me!

Maria was lovely. Personable, friendly and absolutely knows her stuff. Curly hair can be tricky if your stylist doesn’t have experience but that was not the case this time. She recommended a glaze to help with my unruly grey hairs and cut it exactly how I needed it so I can just wash and air dry. The best part was coming home, showering and realizing my hair looked extremely similar to how it was when I left the salon. Can’t wait to see her again!

I had just about given up on my curly hair but Maria brought it back. My hair is thick and pouffy and a mess in its natural state. Maria got rid of the pouf and brought back the curl definition.

She is so nice, knowledgeable in her work, makes you feel so welcome and comfortable, she listens and you can tell she loves what she does… I went for a consultation on what I was wanting to do and she was very honest with me and with her guidance we came up with a perfect color and style. Maria is an angel! I went in a little nervous because so many people do not know how to cut curly hair. However, Maria made me feel welcome, heard, and hopeful. She gave me an amazing cut and helped me feel confident with my hair again. It was super easy to book an appointment through her website and I received lots of texts reminders about it! I have been looking for someone to cut and recommend products for my curly hair. My hair has always been a struggle. But I just wanted to get some length off but I needed someone who knew how to properly cut curls. Let me just say… MARIA WAS AMAZING!! She cut my hair in a way that no one has done before but you could tell it’s because she was paying attention to my curls. She actually took care of my hair and not just for more money she helped me see what my issue is with my dry extremely healthy hair. She suggested doing a conditioner treatment during the visit to help my hair and then how to do it on my own at home. I have nothing bad to say at all. Very personable, very helpful, and very caring. Im already rescheduling with her.

Loved Maria’s work! Lovely lady! She gave me all the recommendations I needed to bring my hair back to life! She gave me a very much needed haircut that brought my curls back to life! She works with all types of hair. If you are a curly haired, she got you! I’m sticking with her! Can’t wait for our next coloring session and my hair progress in the next few weeks.

Maria did a great job on my cut (which I most desperately needed, it had been a while 😬). She made great suggestions on my current routine, with some product suggestions as well (and some to not use) to help moisturize my curls, as my hair is a bit dry. I was very pleased with everything, the length, layers, framing the face, all of it is perfect. Maria definitely makes you feel like you’ve known her for years, super personable. I appreciate you and will definitely be back in 3 months! (Don’t worry if it ends up being 4, I promise I’ll do better at getting regular trims!)

Maria did an amazing job on my hair today. I went for a natural blowout but she gave me the full treatment so my hair can grow back healthy. She even took time out to talk to me about taking care of my hair better and even suggested what I can do to keep my own daughter’s hair healthy. I look forward to being her regular customer.

How do you review on the BEST, without just saying that they're the best & leaving it at that!? I have a biracial daughter, with biracial hair!! & we live 45 minutes away from the salon & I HAPPILY make that drive, not just for my daughter's hair because Maria does such an amazing job, especially on a very tender head, but because Maria has turned into/ been way more than just a hair stylist, but a friend to both myself & my daughter. I will never take my daughter to anyone else for her hair care. It matters. DFS is the best!

Love love love my cut! First time customer. I went in with frizzy semi wavy semi straight hair, and came out with some defined shape and so much Lighter. Maria did amazing with my hair, but what was most impressive was her personality! I'm not a talker, especially small talk, and Maria never missed a beat and kept me engaged. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back to Doll Face Salon and Boutique!
