I had an amazing experience here, I told Olivia I wanted a version of a wolf cut with lots of layers that would give me volume. She gave me exactly what I wanted and I absolutely love it! I could tell by the stylists and the vibe of the salon that it was my place to be . My friend got color services and Oliva did an amazing job there too.

Got my hair done 2 days ago and it wasn’t blended at the roots, and it was the wrong color. It wasn’t like the pictures at all. I shared my feedback with the phone number they contacted me with and they offered to fix it for free :)! Everyone is extremely sweet and they were really understanding with my issue. They got me back in as soon as possible to fix it! Chelsea and Ashe worked really carefully and answered all of my questions about my hair so it would be like how I wanted before and it’s definitely my favorite hair I’ve had in a while. Although it was messed up at first, they were very eager to fix it and get it to exactly how I wanted and appreciated me communicating why I didn’t like my hair!

I have never had a haircut that "made me feel like a different person" before; but I can truly say that I have now! I did a search for the best hair salon in KC and read the reviews for The Hair KCMO and made my appointment. I have not had a haircut/professional color since 2020, and I really just felt like a frumpy middle-aged lady. I stepped in the studio and immediately was greeted with kindness and made to feel welcome. Olivia was my stylist, and she listened to what I was thinking about for a cut and color, she made suggestions, and ultimately gave me the best look I have had in my entire life! The whole experience was wonderful, the other stylists treat each other with respect and care, and the entire place is funky and cool. If you are looking for a place to go and you read my review, I encourage you to give them a try. I really feel confident and at the end of the day, that means the world.

The atmosphere and owner, Chelsea, are friendly and welcoming, and Ashe is a wonderful stylist. I've gone back a few times because I loved the cut and style, last time they gave me beautiful natural highlights that were exactly what I was looking for! Ashe is very kind and talented!

I have not gotten a hair cut in a long time but Ashe made it a great experience for me. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody, evan longhaired construction workers that wear a hard hat all day like myself.

Best salon experience I've had in a long time! I had a transformative hair cut from Olivia, I was nervous but really wanted a change. She not only gave me the perfect cut, but made great suggestions and was so helpful and excited through the whole process. I love the cut, the environment, the stylists, everything.

Chelsea does an amazing job on my hair. Going to her shop is such a fun experience. She is so knowledgeable about all the "science" and is a good mentor to her team mates. She has a real passion for hair and it shows!

First professional haircut in a long time, Ashe did a fantastic job. Called the same day and was able to get in quick. The place was cool, and everyone was incredibly friendly. Will definitely be coming back and recommending.

Highly Recommend!!! Chelsea has cut my hair for over a decade & I can't recommend her & her team enough. She was my Sherpa going from short to longer hair and has always been respectful & professional. You can tell she's incredibly passionate about serving her clients, staying abreast of trends in the industry and creating an experience that's truly a cut above.

I had Ashe give my hair a healthy trim and wash, and they did a wonderful job! I walked out of the store with super shiny and healthy hair. I will definitely be coming in again for another appointment!

I had my hair cut by Chelsea, who I highly recommend! She gave me styling tips for my hair texture and was completely transparent with what I wanted to do with my cut and how it would work for my hair type. I told her my hair has a history of not taking curls for longer than an hour, to which she said “challenge accepted!” It’s been over 24 since she styled it and the curls are just as gorgeous as when she finished them. Thanks Chelsea!❤️

I have made this my new one stop shop for all of my makeover needs. Olivia does everything from lashes to hair and tanning. The hair cuts she does will leave you feeling transformed and the lashes feeling like you fly away like a true beauty queen!! I honestly wouldn’t even CONSIDER going anywhere else. Olivia does a great clipper/scissor cut. Everyone I’ve talked to has been friendly and affirming, drinks while you wait is nice too. I never have to wait and the prices are very reasonable considering the lovely space.

Chelsea. Is. Amazing! I was a first-time spray tanner, zero clue what I was doing, and Chelsea made me so comfortable and helped me through every step. She is so sweet and talented! Any second appointment, 4 days before my wedding, I expressed concerns about being too dark, and she listened and modified the spray for me. If I ever need a spray tan for anything again, I'm going right back to Chelsea!

I went in a long time ago wanting them to fix my bangs and cut my hair into a layered style but instead they cut it straight across in the back, taking like 7 inches of hair when i wanted my hair to stay long. my hair was to my hips and after the cut it was my upper back.
