I’ve been going to The Hair Lab for a few years now and have worked with multiple stylists. Each of them has been so skilled and patient, taking the time to understand what I’m looking for, talk through the options, and answer questions. I’ve never felt hurried or pressured, and I’ve always left feeling and looking like a million bucks! To me this says so much about the kind of salon The Hair Lab is. Not only are their stylists exceptionally talented and skilled, it’s obvious they’re given the freedom to be truly client-centered, instead of rushing things or pushing products just to make a sale. It’s an approach that takes more time and attention, so it really shows you what their philosophy is. Brian in particular has some of the most excellent “chair-side manner” I’ve ever experienced! Not only did he give me an amazing new cut and color, he made me feel genuinely valued and cared for, which is an increasingly rare skill in and of itself. 10/10 enthusiastically recommend!

I’ve been so happy with every hair cut I’ve had here with Brian! He is such a miracle worker and has helped me learn how to treat my hair well and still stay within my early morning time constraints before I have to go to work. I work in anesthesia and with special needs patients, so it’s important to me that my hair is manageable, but my natural hair can be difficult since I never learned how to do it besides straightening it everyday. Please go to Brian because he is so sweet and considerate about your day to day life and how your hair factors into that. Thank you Brian for changing my relationship with my hair and teaching me how to care for it.

Sachi is amazing. I have seen her for multiple haircuts now, and every cut is such a great experience. The consultation at the beginning of the appointment is super thorough and she really listens to exactly what you want. She gives an amazing scalp massage during the hair wash, and she’s very gentle, which is nice because I’m tender headed. She truly is a hair artist - I get so many compliments on my haircuts from her and they are truly customized to exactly what I want. The hair lab facility also makes a lot of their own products which are quality and smell really good!

Brian at The Hair Lab always takes care of me: He takes time to talk through what I'm thinking and what he recommends, and then he outlines a plan before getting started - I really appreciate the communication. He's also very thoughtful and precise with the hair cut - making sure it's something that you'll enjoy and fits your lifestyle.

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Nikki for a fantastic men’s cut. I have super difficult straight, fine hair that shows everything, and my grandmother owned a salon for years while I was growing up, so I’ve always been particular about my haircuts and loyal to my proven stylists. I’m not from the area, but they so graciously got me in on short notice (when I was feeling particularly shaggy and disheveled) with Nikki, and she didn’t disappoint. She was so attentive and kind, and I left feeling like a million bucks. Thank you. If you have the chance, check them out, particularly Nikki (though, the entire staff seemed absolutely lovely). I hope if I’m ever in the area again, I can pay Nikki and The Hair Lab another visit. Thank you for your kindness to me and your attention to detail and your expert craft. I was very pleased with my entire experience.

As someone w very thick, coarse, curly hair, it’s been very hard for me to find a place that can properly treat and cut my hair. Gwen did a fantastic job! She was kind, thoughtful, and patient as we worked through what I wanted.

Got a very stylish "wolf cut" for my first visit, I showed pictures and was very specific. The next two I got were both awful--"old lady" puffy helmets...maybe "asian" hair is a problem. After giving 2 opportunites to "practice", I won't be returning, I hate my hair style right now, and have to grow it out for a 2nd time. I have very course, textured "straight" hair, which responds best to long, razored layers--salon seemed to have trouble with this. Space is kinda dark and echo-ey. Everyone was nice, though.

Got paired with Jacob and won’t be looking for another hairstylist any time soon. He listens to what I am envisioning and executes above my expectations. Got hair trim with curtain bangs and then blonde balayage. Facility is nice and they use good smelling products!

I am so angry right now. I had an appointment for haircut at 12:45. They called and canceled it at 12:08! They said my stylist had a medical issue, but to me that is so unprofessional. Someone else could have squeezed me in. I need a good salon but this doesn’t work!

I couldn’t be more happy with my experience today at the Hair Lab. Gwen was perfect and I love my cut. She was informative and very professional. I have never had a scalp massage that good. She gave me great tips on my hair care. Top notch!

I like this place a lot. People are friendly, very kind, and the space looks pretty cool.Brian my hair stylist is the rock star of my hair,we went from a very long hair to a very, very short pixie cut, and I absolutely adore it!!! Give them a try, you would love it!

I love this salon! After my former stylist from another salon moved out of town, I’ve been searching for a new one. A friend of mine recommended this salon, and now I’ve already been here three times to get my hair done! My stylist always gets it right! If you’re trying to find for a good salon, look no further! All the staff are friendly and the atmosphere and warm, upbeat and inviting. 100% would recommend this salon to anyone. :)

I was able to schedule online/via email and didn’t have to speak to a human on the phone. Brian was amazing. I am neurodivergent and the experience of getting my haircut is often overstimulating and all too much for me. Brian was welcoming and kind, but more than that they took into consideration my neurodivergence and accommodated those needs by creating a calming and collaborative environment where I felt empowered. And the haircut is exactly what we discussed, taking my needs into consideration with their recommendations. Highly recommend Brian. I look cute as hell.

I’ve been going to the Hair Lab to see Sachi for a couple of years now. I look forward to every visit! It’s a great, welcoming atmosphere and I’m so glad I found them. Sachi does a wonderful job bringing your vision to life. I have wavy hair and I’ve loved every cut I’ve gotten from her. She did an incredible job on balayage for me as well. I was so excited to get my wedding photos back and see my great my hair color looked. I’ve also worked with Tracie and Jacob and they are fantastic as well. This is definitely a splurge for me but the incredible care and attention I get from the stylists here is worth it!
