Finally! A salon and Krislon, stylist, who understands my hair! I had an appointment for a keratin treatment this weekend. The stylist suggested a Brazilian instead for my type of hair. I went with her suggestion and I am so glad. It turned out beautiful, so soft and shiny. I have been dealing with dry, hard, wirey, frizzy, wavey hair all my life. I spend hours flat ironing. I’ve tried all hair relaxers and chemicals, most of them bad for me and some leave me with straight but flat and lifeless hair. Krislon did an excellent job and I was so relaxed. I fell asleep more than once. She processed my hair and then blew and styled it for me. I love it. It’s bouncey, soft, healthy looking, and exactly what I wished for. I didn’t know my hair could look and feel like this. No frizz, but I have body and movement! Wonderful salon, the stylists are warm and friendly. The salon is clean and so easy to get to. No issue with parking either. I will definitely be back. If you struggle with Pacific Islander frizzy unruly hair, I recommend Krislon at The Hair Lounge.

Here we go! I did this for my wife's birthday. It was $100 for a haircut and "treatment" and another $100 for coloring. It looks no different. She said she was disappointed and that made me kinda sad; And the one who I had made the reservation with couldn't even figure out the computer system.

I haven’t touched my hair in almost 3 years. My hair has grown very long and while recovering from surgery, I needed to cut it to get it out of my face and from sitting on it. I decided to test my ability to sit for a few hours during my recovery, as I was scheduled to return to work in a couple days. I came across a Facebook post and saw Kylea offering her services as a hair stylist. It made me interested because the salon is right down the road from me, and I saw her specialty in balayage. She was flexible enough to do a consultation via text, and was able to fit me in the next day. We decided to do a cut and a balayage. I had given her a heads up that I am recovering from knee surgery and was in crutches. Kylea and the stylist next to her was more than attentive to me and making sure I was comfortable. They even offered a stool to help me prop my leg up on while I’m in the chair (honestly, it was a huge relief for my knee). Both Kylea and her colleague was very caring about my comfort and offered me snacks and water during my service, and checked on me periodically. Kylea was very sweet, easy going, and she took her time on me, which I was so grateful for. The end result came out beautifully. Kylea was able to trim all the dead ends and excess hair I had, and the balayage came out better than I anticipated. The workers at this salon are friendly and they help each other out. You feel nothing but good vibes. It’s nice to see a salon that has camaraderie. I am very appreciative of Kylea and the salon for the Aloha they shared while I was being serviced. It was one of the best experiences I have had in a salon. I will be returning. Mahalo nui loa Kylea and staff!

Nikki was fabulous. From the moment I walked in I was treated as though I was a regular client rather than an out of town client coming in for a one off appointment. My hair looks fab (I had highlights, a trim and a treatment) and so many friends have commented on how great it looks. Highly recommend. Worth heading a few minutes off the strip.

Lisa did a Brazilian blowout on my crazy hair today to blend with my extensions. She did an amazing job. And my hair should grow better now too. Last week someone in the shop ( don’t know his name sorry) styled my daughters hair for graduation. She looked fantastic. We’ve found our new salon home and couldn’t be happier. The staff are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome as well. So far everyone is very welcome even if they aren’t doing any services for you. Thank you again!!💕😊

I came in to have my hair fixed because while having a mental break down, I decided to chop my hair... into a bob. Terrible decision. Haleigh was able to add some layers and help me fall in love with my hair like I haven’t in a while. Also gave me some times for my oily hair. Thank you again girl! I will be coming back for wedding hair soon!!! If all your girls have professionalism like Haleigh, I will continue to come back!!!

My first haircut with Lisa was great and I gave a 5 star review. The second cut wasn't the same and I wasn't as happy with it so I went in for a fix. That was the worst mistake! I left with a terrible cut and not alot of hair left to work with. I want to cry every time I look at it. I only wanted just a little length off and a little of the bulk from around my face...that led to a haircut that looked nothing like the first. Needless to say I will not be back.
