I had a great experience with Michelle. I went to her for a root touch-up and a haircut, and she did an amazing job! I even decided to take my 3-year-old, and she was incredibly patient. I highly recommend her! The space is lovely—very comfortable and conveniently located.

I have gotten my haircut by Michelle for several months now and each time I have been extremely happy with the results! I am trying to grow my hair out longer while also keeping it clean and she has done a great job at helping me achieve this, I would recommend anyone give it a shot!

I was recently searching for a new place to get a haircut when I came across Michelle and her exceptional online reviews. I’ve now visited a couple of times and fully agree that all those positive reviews were correct and can now add my own 5 star review. The ease of scheduling (many time options), excellent haircut/shampoo, and all around pleasant service is what Michelle provides. I also got my son to start going to her and highly recommend her to all others. You will not be disappointed.

I encourage you to read through all the reviews that Michelle's clients have posted about how delighted they are with the great haircuts and other styling services she provides, and has provided for years. I'm adding my 5-star review after having her cut my hair several times. She does a great job with my haircut, and I want to suggest that you say yes when she asks if you want the shampoo, hot towel, and neck massage treatment too. For some reason, I said "No, I'm good." the first few times I was in, but never again! Besides the great cut, though, and you can see this in the MANY comments from others, Michelle is a very special, engaging person who you will enjoy coming to know and appreciate. The last time I was in, we had a heartfelt, post-cut conversation that helped me appreciate even more who she is as a person, making life choices that have had such meaningful impacts on others. This is someone you will want to know, who also gives a great haircut!

Michelle does a great job in cutting to your requirements. Took me a while to find someone that understood what I needed to get done, very glad I found michelle. Her shop has got a clean and comfortable setup as well ! Price point is great too.

Michelle is incredible! I see her every five weeks for a root touch up and sometimes a trim. I have fine hair that is going gray. I found Michelle through a referral. When I moved here I went to a salon in Cary for a root touch up and spent $150 (with no blow dry). I couldn’t believe it. I have never spent over $100 with Michelle because she charges by the hour which is incredibly reasonable. I love the products she uses, the music she puts on and I love just hanging out with her for the 90ish minutes. She is so knowledgeable in her craft and am so grateful that I found her! I can’t recommend The Hair MD enough!

Michelle is very skilled and personable, and will always make you feel like a VIP when you are in her salon. I usually get a haircut and a beard trim, and in my experience she always under-promises and over-delivers! After trying a few barbers in the triangle, this is definitely the shop I'm sticking with.

I’ve been in Raleigh-Durham for 5 years now and Michelle is the best I have found. I’ve gotten 3 cuts now and she’s killed it every time. I have a weird cowlick in the back and she does an excellent job.
