I had my first haircut at The Hair Society today. My hairdresser, Angie recently moved there. I loved the salon. It’s bright, clean and welcoming, and I stay with Angie because I like her professionally and personally! It was a great experience and I highly recommend this salon.

I hate writing bad reviews because I don't want to offend or hurt anyone especially with something like this where they're working hard and spending a lot of time on something for you but I write this hopefully to help someone like me who maybe doesn't want to spend a fortune when it's not even really worth it. I had miss Allison and she was so sweet and kind so I went and got my hair colored by her for about a year. I was 15 and would use all my birthday, Christmas and babysitting money to pay for my hair coloring appointments. I knew nothing about it and had had no experience so I trusted her whole-heartedly and figured it was a pretty standard thing. Well as I talked to more people I was met with wide eyes and mouths hanging open when I would mention I payed anywhere from $350-450 (the upper 400s being with tip) and it taking 6 hours each time. I figured since my hair was moderately long and pretty thick that that must just be what it costs for someone like me. But friends of mine with the same length and thickness would get almost the same thing (but even better) for a little over half the price. I then figured well, miss Allison must just be better than other stylists and it was a "you get what you pay for" type of deal. Well fast forward the following year my good friend begged me to try her hair place and when I finally did, it cost me almost half the price, took 3 hours and had so much more dimension and shades of blonde to create such a beautiful blonde blend. I then remembered another stylist at Hair Society telling me miss Allison charges you by the hour, plus how much bleach she has to use on your hair. As kind as she was, miss Allison would take forever just to color my hair (and she claimed I shoudn't do dimension because it'd be hard on my color and that I should schedule MORE appointments in order to do it over time, when this other person did it beautifully in one appointment with no concerns) so to just put one all over color of blonde on my hair it usually took 2-3 hours plus somehow there were always "toner mishaps" every time causing it to take even longer charging even more. All is to say, as kind as she was, I felt very much taken advantage of as a young 15 year old girl and she saw it as an opportunity to make as much money off of me as possible. It's also sad because she knew I worked hard to save up the money because I told her. So anyway, so sorry for the length of this review I just wanted to make sure I explained why :) Please, if you are looking to get your hair colored go somewhere else that will actually give you what you ask for for faster and cheaper and not make you feel overcharged and ripped off.

Past due for a haircut! Love Rebekah she is the best stylist I have ever had cut my hair! The salon is very welcoming and getting an appointment was easy. I highly recommend coming here to anyone.

Jaime is the bomb! She’s super nice and has lots of experience. She really knows how to listen and give even better than expected. In this pic, I chose to let my hair air-dry so this is my totally natural look (and a little wind blown😁). I just needed color/weave and a trim this time💖

Jamie Monks is AMAZING! I was looking for someone who could cut short curly hair-she is the one! I asked Jamie how she thought my hair should look when done. She had great suggestions and was never overbearing. She is very knowledgeable and puts you at ease. My hair looks wonderful!!

Egan is an amazing hair stylist. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time I was there for my money piece and trim. She is a good conversationalist, as well, and there were no awkward moments. My hair looks amazing, and I love the cooler toned blonde she made my money piece. It feels so much healthier after trimming off dead ends, as well. Highly highly recommend Egan!

Allison Rysta did an AMAZING job cutting my hair. I have fine, curly hair which can be hard. I told her briefly what I wanted, we looked at a few photos, and she cut away.. and nailed it! Would highly recommend her. Patient, intentional, and such a calming experience.

I found Rebekah through a friend & started using her because it was very close to where I lived. I’ve been with her now for 4-5 years. She’s very good at listening to what I want or need & is so very good about remembering those details at my next visit. Hair Society is a very comfortable, relaxing place & centrally located.

My daughter and I love having our hair done at The Hair Society with Rebekah. She always handles my daughter’s haircut with care, ensuring that she is comfortable and will even offer to add a feather to her hair. I recently got my hair trimmed and as always, Rebekah took time to do just as I asked and it looks fantastic!

Rebecca has been cutting my hair since 2019 and I have never left unsatisfied! She is sweet, kind, and has always done as I asked (even if it doing red highlights one month then two months later asking for blonde highlights on top of that!) 👀👀 highly recommend!

Rebekah has been doing my hair for at least 5 years. I have never had a complaint. She listens and does exactly what you ask (that is hard to find). She has also been cutting my son’s hair since he was 6. She is great. I refer her to all my friends. I highly recommend The Hair Society.

Rebekah owns a wonderful salon. My 19 year old son and I have been going to her for years Not only am I always pleased with our hair but she is so personable and fun to be with. I look forward to my visits and my son actually plans his appointments with her when he is home on his breaks from college because he doesn’t want anyone else touching his hair. Can’t recommend her enough!

Rebekah, the owner, has been cutting my hair for several years now. My daughter recommended her to me. I have been pleased with each haircut. If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t keep going back. And, most times, I buy a pair of cute earrings that she makes.

I ❤️ The Hair Society!! I’ve been going to Rebekah for a couple years now and always leave the salon with the exact look I was wanting (or even better)! The prices are super reasonable, she is professional and friendly, and the salon is super cute!! I always get compliments on my hair and attribute it all to her!!
