By far, the best silk press I have ever had! I was looking for someone to do a silk press at the last minute this past weekend, and I’m so grateful that I came across Marilyn. She took care of me and is by far the best-priced hairstylist I have seen in Atlanta. I have 4C hair, and I’m always very cautious about who I let take care of my hair because it can be challenging to treat. But with Marilyn, I had no concerns, and she handled my hair with care, was extremely knowledgeable, and made me look beautiful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a phenomenal silk press; thank you so much, Marilyn!

I have now visited Marilyn for the second time. I initially found her through booksy while looking for natural hair stylist near me. Both styles looked great and last such a long time even with my crazy sleep patterns. I have definitely found my stylist. I especially appreciate that she has flexible appointment times for us busy ladies.

Booked services for a wedding. Tiktok had me scared of Atlanta hair stylist. Marilyn was opposite of everything I heard in the videos. She was very professional, prompt, knowledgeable (she is licensed), and skilled. I showed her a style I wanted, she noted that and made it next level. I received so many compliments at the wedding. People thought she was a stylist I went to regularly and couldn't believe I booked a gem off an internet search in Atlanta. Her reviews are high for a reason! Her conversation is natural and warm. Marilyn made me wish I lived closer so I could go regularly. Anytime I'm in the area I will book with her. These Atlanta hair nightmare tiktokers need to look no further. Loved my experience today! My new found stylist is nothing short of Amazing! She has an amazing talent & im glad she shares it with the world! Few stylist can work and talk at the same time, but she can. The final product is Amazing. I love her combo of braids and twist for me. This will last me a very very long time.

Very Unprofessional with negative energy, granted I did communicate before 1pm I was running behind today and she canceled my appointment didn’t pay me my refund back when I was about to show up these hairstylist nowadays don’t need to be in nobody head with that weird negativity energy…. Where do I begin? Marilyn is the absolute best!!! The highlights of my experience are: -booked me last minute w/o excessive fees -arrived on time/early to our appointment - super friendly, very kind, beautiful, and extremely knowledgeable and professional -her work space is clean - she is personable and achieved my desired look -woman of faith -reasonably priced And just overall awesome! My hair lasted for weeks and I got so many compliments. I travel and she is officially my new Atlanta hairstylist. Go see her!!! :) Wish I would have taken better pictures. The Afro was the state of my hair before. Me in the purple was the day of and the one in black was the next day after wrapping it. Hope this helps. :)

I thought I was just going to get my hair done, but my experience was far more. Marilyn is such an anointed, humble, kind hearted person . My spirit instantly connected with her. Beautiful inside and out. When you go into her salon she makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable. She is very knowledgeable & willing to teach you the proper way to take care of your hair. she taught me so much I didn’t know about my hair texture, how to keep it healthy, products & etc. We literally spoke the whole time about hair, life and spirituality. I’m thankful God directed me in the right path. She definitely has a new returning client. I loved my hair and know that I will reach my hair goals with her. Ms. Marilyn is a literal doll; not only does she provide “old school” service (e.g. washing hair and great convo) She’s patient, kind, honest and knowledgeable. This was my first visit with her and I really appreciated how she talked me through each step while caring for my hair. She definitely gained a customer for life.
