I can’t say enough wonderful things about my experience with Sky! She gave me the best haircut of my life—I left feeling like a whole new person. Sky didn’t just transform my hair; she transformed my energy. From the moment I sat in her chair, she was so supportive and made me feel completely at ease. Her attention to detail and care throughout the entire process were unmatched, and her positive energy was contagious. This wasn’t just a haircut—it was an experience. I felt an incredible sense of release, like an energetic clearing that I didn’t even know I needed. I’m so grateful for Sky’s talent, kindness, and ability to make me feel amazing inside and out. I can’t recommend her enough!

The salon is amazing, everyone is so friendly, you’re greeted and checked in. You’re asked if you’d like a drink. I went to see Alie for a full highlight and blowout, and i am so in love with the way it turned out! She doesn’t rush the process and makes sure you’re good through out the process. 10 out 10 recommend- please note that you pay for what you get (some may think prices are expensive.) i def think it’s worth the spend to have professionals do color and keep your hair healthy

Fantastic first-time experience! Brian was so sweet, used his expertise to help me figure out what I wanted, had great conversation, & gave me a beautiful haircut. And Tess even held my baby so I could get a shampoo & luxurious massage from Sierra 😭😍 They went above & beyond any salon I’ve been to (and I’ve been to plenty). Everyone was so friendly & the sparkling rosé was just an added bonus. Thank you! ✨ Don’t hesitate to book your next appointment here—I’m already sending friends to Brian & The Harbor! ♥️

I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored by CC and she is my girl! She truly listens and consults on my hair goals and really makes sure that she matches exactly what I want so I get my dream hair. Everyone at The Harbor is so kind and the salon is so homey. There’s also street parking in the residential area which makes it so convenient and stress-free. I’m so happy to have found my forever stylist and salon home!

Alissa gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had, certainly the best I've had in LA. And she and the other ladies in the salon were super sweet to boot! It's a trek for me but totally worth it.

Always good vibes at the Harbor. CC is my colorist, she’s the best! She always knows exactly what I want even when I can’t articulate it. And she always takes care and puts the integrity of my hair top priority. The salon is very calm while being warm and comfortable.

CC is my go to for color and cut. She’s amazing, especially for dark hair trying to go lighter. The salon is beautiful, everyone is always so nice and just the overall vibe is great. Only street parking available so give yourself a little extra time to be safe.

Do yourself a favor and come see Sky here for a haircut! There are some people out here who are just meant to do hair and Sky is one if them. I have longer, thinner hair and I’ve always wanted to bring out my natural wave. Sky knew exactly how to answer my prayers using a technique that created layers and lightness in my hair. She also makes great recommendations for products, some of which have become my new favorites (and I’m picky about hair products!). Both myself and my partner get our haircut with Sky regularly and love seeing her at The Harbor. We are grateful for her talent!

Every time I go to the harbor and have a new stylist or colorist I leave beyond happy !! The whole team is so welcoming and the atmosphere is just so cute and fun. Delaney did my cut and mini highlight this time and she nailed the curtain bangs I asked for :)

Had a great experience at the Harbor! I needed a last minute appointment before a trip and they were able to book me the following day. Pricey but the results were exactly what I asked for and everyone was super kind.

I followed Allie to The Harbor because I like and trust her with my long color treated hair. Before I used her I had a disaster with a previous hairdresser at a different salon and Allie saved my hair, corrected it and has helped me grow it out since then. I find the harbor to be very easy to make appointments, Parking is a cinch and it's a very pleasant atmosphere. Not cheap but worth it!

I had the BEST experience at the Harbor, better than anywhere I’ve been! Everyone was so hospitable, and Sky did such an amazing job on my hair. I’m obsessed! Will definitely be coming back again soon!

I have been searching for years to find a salon where I both feel comfortable and leave with amazing hair, and I am happy to say that I have found that at the Harbor. I've seen three different stylist for different services over the last several months and each one paid incredible attention to detail. My haircut and highlights are flawless and a fraction of the price I used to pay at a fancy" influencer" salon downtown. The Harbor is warm and welcoming and has some of the best hairstylists in Los Angeles. Such a gem!

I love The Harbor Salon in Silverlake! Sky is awesome and the whole team is upbeat. Very positive atmosphere. I love the color and cut Sky does. She’s extremely talented. They are nestled in a cute neighborhood with coffee shops and cool stores all around. Easy to street park. I highly recommend! ❤️

Korinthia is terrible and overpriced. She left the toner on too long, which meant my highlights were dull and one dimensional. Not my real name btw. Why would I come back to have it fixed, and have the person who made the error in the first place touch my hair again? The manager of this salon is unhelpful and walks around with her nose stuck up in the air.

My stylist was very sweet but did not use enough dye for my all-over color, which resulted in sections of my hair not being covered. When I spoke management about this, they gaslit me. After much back and forth, they said I could come back in but would not be compensated for the mistake or the additional time I sacrificed to have it fixed. When I went in for my appointment, they made me wait 45 minutes before being seen and only touched up my roots, despite there being full-length grays. Once she was done, I noticed that the color she used was slightly lighter than what had been used the first time, which — again — is not what I asked for. In all, it was a wholly negative and frustrating experience. I will not being going back and would not recommend this salon to anyone I know.

Save your hair and do not go to this salon. I was witness to the abomination which transpired for one of the customers who recently left a review. The damage and the discoloration (breakage, brassiness) caused to this lady's hair was deplorable. The response to this review by the salon owner claiming they did everything in their power to resolve the despicable job they did due to their empathy and understanding is nonsense. They rescinded their offer for the lady to return to the salon to have her hair fixed because they "did not feel comfortable" with her being their again. Gaslighting, disrespectful, and harmful would be the words to describe the owner and the management of this salon rather than outraged about their own errors and empathetic about the damage caused.

The Harbor is the most inviting, nurturing salon experience I have ever had! All the stylists are so attentive and caring, they make you feel like part of a wonderful family. Aside from that, the work is always beyond beautiful. It's not often I take time to care for myself by going to the salon, so when I do it is such a treat. Absolutely love this place and the stylist Sky :)

i've been getting my hair colored by CC for the last 5 months and she is incredible! she's amazing at what she does and she is so so kind and fun to talk to! she originally took me from a dark, dark brown to an all over blonde. i was so nervous, but CC is amazing, got me to the color i wanted in 1 appointment, and kept my hair integrity. she will be my colorist as long as i live in LA! <3
