I see Chanin for Reiki. She is extremely skilled as a Reiki practitioner. She uses her skills to guide you, pass along key words of insight, release energy blocks, and help you get over past traumas. Reiki is much more than a relaxing massage without touching. While relaxation is often a result after the session, this is a side effect, not a focal point. I have seen numerous Reiki practitioners who vary in skills and understanding of Reiki. Chanin was at the top of the list for me. Chanin always has the room set up with relaxing music and comfortable massage table when I arrive. She asks about any pain I may be suffering to see if she needs to work a specific area more. The pressure she applies goes up to my “hurts so good” pain meter, but not over. When I leave I feel refreshed, and make my next appointment! For me, The Healing Storm is worth the 45 minute drive. I highly recommend!

I love all of Chanin's massages, and until yesterday, I thought her hot stone was the best. I tried her new reiki infused massage and it was the best massage she had ever given me. I feel better than I have for weeks. Definitely will be back for the hot stone and the reiki infused massages monthly. I would strongly recommend her services, especially the reiki infused massage or hot stone.

I've been to The Healing Storm a few times now and the level of service and commitment to the craft is what brought me back, each and every time. The Therapist takes her time with you, reviewing areas of concern and focuses on the root cause, not just the immediate area(s). The environment is relaxing and welcoming. Great care is taken during the session, and the therapist checks in often, but not too frequently, to ensure you remain comfortable and relaxed. I would fully recommend The Healing Storm, even if, like me, you have to drive nearly an hour to get there. You will depart feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and setting up your next appointment.

Ms. Storm is a consummate professional who has always taken my personal preferences into consideration during the massage session, making sure the room temperature is just right, my comfort level with what she is doing is always addressed, her techniques almost magical.
