When a haircut boosts your happiness, you know you are in the right place. Taylor is amazing, she has the magic touch on my very short hair which can be really hard to cut and style, but she does it so easily and so amazingly perfectly. I love to get my cuts from her. And the salon is so cozy and comfy too. I would totally recommend Taylor and the Heart Salon to anyone looking for the perfect stylist.

Such a cute spot! Went to Heather for a haircut. They did an excellent job walking me through possible styles I should try and enjoyed the conversation. The products they use are great and the chairs were v comfortable. Highly recommend!

Always a good experience at the Heart!! Such a cute salon with welcoming stylists and great vibes. I go in every few months to touch up my highlights and get a fresh cut, and Taylor always leaves me feeling like a queen <3 go see her, she’s amazing!

I absolutely love this salon! Taylor, Erin, and everyone I've met there are incredibly friendly and personable. Erin has truly built something special with her beautiful space, top-notch team, and consistently amazing style. My hair has never been in better hands. I love love the days I get my hair done at The Heart Salon! It’s such a cute salon with amazing gals that work there! Taylor has been doing my hair for years and she always makes me feel so beautiful and comfortable! Recently I missed my bang trim apt (oops!) and the owner, Erin, fit me in and was so kind! I really love this salon and recommend it to anyone in SF :)

I’ve been getting my hair done by Taylor for a couple of years now and I absolutely love going to see her at Heart Salon. She always knows exactly what I want and I always leave her chair with the perfect cut/color. Everyone that works there is so friendly and makes sure you’re taken care of.

The Heart Salon feels like home! I've been a client of Erin's for over two years now, following her from her previous salon to here. Having relocated from San Diego, leaving behind my beloved hair stylist/friend, I was initially nervous until I met Erin. Her kindness and talent immediately won me over. As someone who's particular about my red hair color, I can confidently say Erin exceeds all expectations.

The Heart Salon is the best! I have seen Taylor and Erin a number of times over the last year and recommend them both! Looking for a new stylist is daunting, and I’m so lucky to have found not only one but two trustworthy stylists here! The experience is above and beyond - from the minute you walk in it’s like getting your hair cut in a cozy living room. The pricing is extremely fair and the quality is unbeatable. The salon is a huge value add to the community as well, hosting events to support other small businesses. Can’t recommend enough!

The Heart Salon is the cutest salon in San Francisco! All of the stylists that work there are so sweet and so talented, and it’s just such a pleasant experience getting your hair done here. Erin, the owner, has cut my hair twice now and it’s always perfection. Never moving salons now!

Best salon in SF! I have been to many amazing salons in SF and in different cities / countries over the years and none of them compare to The Heart Salon. When you pair that with the lovingly crafted and vibey interior & stacked beverages, there's literally nowhere else I would go. Erin is a master of hair - truly (cut & color). Technical chops and super versatile, whether I'm feeling trendy and on the pulse or want a more stayed hand with classic cut / color. I almost didn't want to write this review because I'm worried it will be harder to get appointments but this place is too much of a gem not to.

I was in desperate need of a haircut and able to receive a weekend appointment quickly after connecting with the owner Erin. I have thick, dark colored hair and every time I have previously gone to get my hair done, I’ve been told I would not be able to get to my desired lightness and have always walked away underwhelmed at the money spent for the color received. This was not the case at The Heart Salon. Erin was able to completely transform my hair and spent an incredible amount of time with me, carefully hand painting highlights into my hair and staying past closing time at the salon to achieve our desired look and cut. She is incredibly kind and talented. If you need a good cut and color, you must book here! Thank you again Erin!

Erin is a master at blonde! I constantly get compliments on my color, even at my wedding the people doing my hair loved it and couldn't stop talking about how good the color is! Not to mention how warm and fuzzy of an experience it is working with Erin and just being in The Heart Salon.

I highly recommend The Heart Salon!!! I saw Hilary Light who is quite talented/experienced with cut and color and I'm extremely happy with my results! I have long/thick hair and like to get blonde highlights and she does an amazing job - it was my second time with her and I'm very pleased! I'm recovering from a head injury and Hilary was very mindful of this and checked in with me on several occasions to make sure I was feeling ok and that she wasn't agitating my head, which was truly appreciated. The salon is inviting, relaxing, clean and aesthetically pleasing - I love all of the details that have gone into the decor to give it a fun nostalgic vintage feel. The owner Erin is very professional and responsive via phone/text when making the appointment and in person too. The vibe is great (music, candles, plants, record player, vintage mirrors, not loud/echoey) and all of the stylists are friendly and experienced, so do not hesitate to try this salon as you will not be disappointed! This is truly the best salon I have ever been to and I will definitely return!

LOVE these stylists and this space. Erin Wes is a multifaceted expert in all things color and cut. I've never been disappointed when walking away from my appointments with her. Additionally, she ALWAYS remembers the smallest details of my life, despite my appointments being months apart. This is such a small detail, but it means so much! She is genuine and authentic and it shows. The space is beautifully designed, cozy, and clean. I'll continue coming back to Erin until I'm 90 years old, and my hair turns gray and falls out (and even then I would buy a wig just to come back to see her).

The Heart Salon is the first time I’ve received a haircut I actually love. As other reviews mentioned, the vibes are immaculate, the space reflects the people who work there as it’s warm and welcoming. I was so nervous coming in and leaving with a haircut I would hate but I left in love with my haircut, the salon, and Erin Levy! Erin did a wonderful job being attentive to my needs and overall really seemed to want to help me help not only shape my vision but bring it to reality. While Hilary didn’t cut my hair she was also in the salon and I wanted to give her a shout out as she was welcoming and sweet. While I was there for my appointment, I noticed how truly attentive she was and present with her client which is rare to see in such a high quality salon. Sometimes salons and hairdressers in my opinion are almost cold, distant and corporate, so was such a nice thing to see that’s not the case here. No matter who you choose at the salon, you can expect great people, a lovely experience and an awesome haircut!
