Today was my first visit to Hive as I was following Nat, who recently joined, the best stylist ever, I followed her from another salon. She’s outstanding but above all she listens to her client & executes perfectly. It’s wonderful to have someone you can trust. Superb colorist, excellent stylist, her expertise pulled me away from Madison Reed, which is now in the business of mass market coloring & other salons who did what THEY felt suited me. On top of it, she’s a sweet, kind person. I will follow her anywhere.

I love when nathalie cuts my hair 🥰 this last cut is probably my favorite of all. im growing out my bangs & she's helping my through that. she's so kind & listens to when I want. I'm very picky with hair stylists & she's the only person I go to.

Nathaile is amazing!!! I have been doing balayage, highlights with her for a while now and she does an amazing job! She does good haircuts too! She knows what she is doing! Amazing personality with amazing styling skills! Book with her and you won’t ever be disappointed! 🩷

I wanted to come on here to say the truth of a situation that happened to me. I’ve been crying for 3 days now, being gaslighted, lied to, threatened, and invalidated all because they made a mistake and refuse to take accountability for it. I went to the hair salon on 8/21/24 and asked for them to cut off 2/2.5 inches and they cut off 8 inches. I let my stylist know in the moment, Sandra, and she was just making jokes saying it was gonna be fine. She then made a comment saying “oh are you not going to give me a tip now”, which made me feel uncomfortable and forced to tip after her acknowledging that I was upset. I left a simple voicemail asking to speak to the Owner and then spoke to the manager. At first, they were kind… but that didn’t last long. I sent a very nicely worded text and two emails to the owner explaining the situation and asking to please have a face to face meeting. Fast forward to later that day and the next day, I posted a Yelp review with photos and saying the story. I then get an email that the business reported my review as a fake review used for media? When all I did was post a REAL review of what happened. Then, I got threats from the business for a cease and desist letter because of my bad review on yelp? To add on, they then started getting random men and women to write fake very positive reviews about Sandra on Yelp…. claiming that customer satisfaction is one of their most important values??? It seems like they are simply mocking me. This business is extremely poorly run, and they are taking advantage of me because i’m a younger girl, lying to me, gaslighting me, lying to the world on different platform. They are a money hungry place and just know if you say one negative thing about them…. they will take zero responsibility and put you through hell. I included before and after photos as well! If anyone has questions or any doubts, I have all the receipts.

Rebecca is awesome! I came in with an idea for a color combo I loved and she elevated it so much. The haircut also highlighted the color and apparently I looked really cute because I literally got stopped twice on the street by strangers. Couldn't recommend her more!

I see Trisha at the hive and love it. There’s a good vibe to the place good music and my hair gets done fast which is always a plus. Parking is easy and they have good products that I buy for my hair. Definitely recommend this place and they have good prices for cut and color.

I visited the Hive for the first time last week, and had an excellent experience. I got highlights and a haircut from Illiana. She did an absolutely amazing job and left my hair feeling so healthy and wonderful.

I've been going to The Hive Beauty Collective for highlights and and haircuts for a few years now, and I must say, it's always a fantastic experience from start to finish. First and foremost, the salon itself is beautifully designed and exudes a calm and relaxing atmosphere. My stylist is incredibly attentive and takes the time to really listen to what I want, while also offering helpful suggestions and guidance. The haircut/highlights are always executed with precision and skill, and I leave feeling very happy with the end result. Overall, I highly recommend The Hive Beauty Collective and any of its stylists to anyone looking for a salon.

The Hive is a really cute hopping spot. Lots of different Hairdressers you will sure find your unique one. My extraordinaire Hairdresser is Danny he is amazing. I have curly hair and that needs different haircutting techniques as well as treating the hair differently he is amazing. Color I love how he does my color it looks, dare I say so natural and I love it. I love going to this shop it is a nice environment and always feels great to be there.

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at this salon. Sandra did my hair and not only did an amazing job but created such a good vibe and environment. I felt so comfortable and she did exactly what I wanted. The passion and love for her work show!!! I feel so beautiful and thankful that I found this place. I have been going to Sandra for my hair for a couple years now. I was hesitant to try balayage at first, but after she worked her magic I LOVED it. She goes above and beyond in making you look and feel beautiful. The environment in the salon is hip and the vibe is great. I would absolutely recommend any of my family or friends to her. I don’t even need to tell her what I want done every time I go in there. I just leave it up to her because I trust she will leave my hair looking amazing!! Which she has time and time again.!

I went in to get a cut by Vanessa & asked for layers and texture and am soo happy with the way it turned out! My hair feels so much lighter, bouncy and ready for summer. I will def be back!

The best find in LA. Look no farther if you want to find a highly skilled salon you can 100% trust but not have to shell out your life savings for :) Sandra has become my favorite hair stylist and a great person to chat with while I’m in the chair … she is amazing with my blonde and so knowledgeable.

I was able to get an appointment with Trisha on the same day and I keep loving my cut more and more everyday. She was professional and quick but also attentive and you can tell she cares about what she’s doing.
