Absolutely LOVE this place! The salon is not only beautifully decorated and comfortable, but the entire team goes above and beyond to make you feel pampered. From offering blankets while getting your hair washed or during processing to their thoughtful accommodations, they truly stand out. Kiki did my hair, and I cannot say enough great things about her! She’s outgoing, friendly, and such a breath of fresh air—exactly what I’ve been looking for in a stylist. She’s incredibly thorough, does an amazing job, and even made me feel better about those embarrassing greys at my age (lol). I feel so lucky to have found her and this wonderful salon. Highly recommend!

I asked Kiki for a subtle change without looking too different. Just wanted a lived in look with a whisper of brightness..lol. We ended up doing teasy lights and she did fantastic! Exactly what I asked for and seamless blending. Hats off to you, Kiki!!!!! Definitely staying loyal 🙌🏼

No no no. Way no. Did not receive haircut that I booked for. Received money pieces that I specifically said no to… (ended up orange.) Overall terrible. I had a half foil appt that lasted 3.5hrs (without a cut!) You go through 3 different people. Honestly was scared for the health of my own hair.

This hair salon is gorgeous! Very welcoming and warm atmosphere. Aileen did amazing job with my highlights. Such a beautiful young lady with great attitude and customer service. I am obsessed with my new hair! <3

I was really looking forward to getting my haircut at their salon after seeing all the fantastic styles on Instagram. But then, on the morning of my appointment, I get a last-minute cancellation via text—30 minutes before I was supposed to be there—because the stylist was sick. I totally get that people get sick, and I hope she feels better, but this is not how you handle things. I texted back immediately to ask when I could reschedule, especially since I booked this appointment a month ago. They never bothered to respond. In a panic because I have a trip coming up, I called to figure out when I could get in, and they tell me they have no idea because everyone is booked for the next two months. It's one thing if things come up, but this salon clearly isn’t prepared to handle cancellations or reschedule clients in a reasonable timeframe. The WORST part was that "THE MANAGER" seemed completely indifferent to my situation and my scheduling needs. This is unacceptable for the type of "establishment" they claim to be. Will NEVER rebook here.

Poor communication and overcharged. Be careful the stylists here are young and do not ask if is okay to do additional work, they just take it upon themselves and upcharge. Not recommended.

I was not impressed here at all. I tried this salon because I saw a positive review video and live less than a mile away. I made an appointment for highlights and all I told the stylist was that I wanted to be dark blonde, liked low maintenance balayage, and did not want a money piece. She made me quite bright, did all over foils, said I needed to come back every 8 weeks to keep up with it, and gave me a super bright money piece. It was laughable how much she did not listen to a word I said. I also asked about a haircut and they said they were booked out for months but would add me to the cancellation list. It’s been a few months and I’ve never gotten a call. Hard to believe not one person has cancelled in that time lol… It’s convenient for me since it’s so close but I won’t be going here again

I went here once and my hair was done really well. Made a new apt, and got a text the day before reminding me of the apt. My dad has pancreatic cancer and is in the hospital. I really wanted to make it to the apt but life happens sometimes. I called to try and reschedule and was told of a 100% same day cancellation fee. I’m literally at the hospital over an hour from Dallas, as I was on the road I realized I was going to be 30 mins late and didn’t even feel comfortable calling back to see if being late was okay. I understand why salons do this, but maybe make it a case by case decision? Sure anyone can make an excuse but sometimes excuses are real. As a salon your number one priority should be customer service, and making relationships with clients. It’s very obvious this place cares more about the money then their clients.

Everyone at the front desk is always so friendly and helpful! Although the parking situation is a little tricky sometimes, the House on Lovers has the most beautiful interior design. Jenna is my go-to for color! She is the only stylist that has ever understood how my hair works when lightening since I am half Asian and it gets brassy so easily. The best blonde highlights I've ever had. I also appreciate that she caters the technique she does based on your lifestyle. I like the lived-in look she gives me which not only looks great with my complexion and helps give me extra time before having to come in again. Can't imagine going anywhere else for color! Note: she is VERY popular so you definitely have to plan ahead and book a spot early!

I only went once and wanted to return. I enjoyed the experience and loved my hair. I forget my hairstylists name but he was awesome. 100% this review is not a reflection of him. He was great. The salon is small and beautiful. I will say the ambiance was much more clique-driven. If you weren't preppy and all about you, you really didn't fit in, and the receptionist really let you know that. If they don't like you, they won't call you back for an appointment. I dislike this. I told the lady how many weeks my stylist and I agreed I should wait before my next appointment. She was very dismissive, but did say she would let me know via text or email when my appointment was. I never heard from her again. I won't be returning. I don't want to be treated that way. I do wish the stylist I had the best. He was truly great.

I have had wonderful experiences at the House on Lovers. Kaegan has been my go-to stylist for years, and when he moved his practice here, I was happy to switch salons to maintain that professional relationship. He is friendly and fun, while maintaining an air of expertise that inspires trust. His haircuts are stylish without being forced into trends. The salon is a comfortable place to be, and its front desk and support staff are very professional as well!

The House on Lovers is an incredible atmosphere! You feel right at home when you walk in but a REALLY well decorated home. Everyone is extremely kind! You will most definitely walk out of there with a huge smile and a GOOD HAIR DAY! The House on Lovers stands out from your average salon! My fav! Kaegan Compton is incredible! He is a stylist you would follow anywhere. He has the coolest personality and genuinely cares about his clients. He does a thorough job with his consultation and communication. He also has wonderful attention to detail when doing each unique cut/style. You will leave informed on anything you could possibly want to ask him about for your continued hair care. Time at the salon with Kaegan is always THE BEST!!! You get lots of laughs and stellar hair!!

The space Max and Cory have created is beautiful, inviting and welcoming. If you've been roaming around Dallas looking for experienced professionals who will give you exactly what you're looking for - stop looking and come to THOL. I honestly like to just go early to my appointments and sit in the beautiful furniture and drink the fancy coffee because the vibes are immaculate. Max has been my colorist and the wind beneath my wings for several years and there is just honestly no one else I'd trust. He is an artist who takes pride and care in his work and it shows. I feel the same way about Kayla. They are just the best at what they do. And I know the rest of the staff is of the same caliber because Max has carefully curated his team based on his own high expectations. I've recommended this place to everyone I know and will continue to do so.
