I returned to The Jade Rabbit for a haircut because Hannah takes such care in her shampoos, cuts, and styles. My husband was ready for a big change in hair styles so I brought him him to have a haircut and beard trim with Hannah. We both left incredibly happy with Hannah's artistic work. She was professional, gentle, and very kind. I was very comfortable in the salon due to its inclusive and peaceful environment. I plan to get my hair cut with Hannah for as long as she and I both live in NC.

For various reasons, I couldn't get my hair cut at my usual spot. Hannah did a great job. Super great experience from beginning to end. They are clearly putting a lot of effort into creating a welcoming space for everyone.

I most recently started coming here after several years of big box & small corpo owned salons. I probably don’t even have to tell you but they are simply the best. Personalization, small talk, following YOUR requests and then giving feedback that makes it even better at the end and overall just having fun with it! Never had a bad haircut or experience. 11/10 would recommend and can’t wait to keep coming here for the many years ahead!

Hannah is the only person that I have trusted with my hair for a very long time. She is always super considerate and makes sure that she does my hair exactly how I want it, which has been a problem that I’ve had at other salons in the past. I have sensory sensitivities and a lot of anxiety and Hannah always helps make me feel comfortable.

Hannah was amazing! We drove over two hours to see her because I wanted a mohawk meets mullet cut (with long, choppy bangs) and Hannah delivered! I have very thick (straight) hair so this style takes a while to complete and Hannah was super patient and continued thinning and chopping until I loved the cut as much as I thought I would! It certainly won't be the last time we meet.

This doesn’t look like a typical salon, however, the service is impeccable. I have been using Hannah as my stylist for years and I can honestly say she has never given me a bad haircut. She listens, will fix things you do like, and is willing to give good advice if you want to be adventurous. Hannah is the type of stylist that if I moved away from CLT, I would plan my return trips here just so I could get her to cut my hair!

Absolutely love Storm and Hannah! Both have done a great job on my hair and make the whole experience super enjoyable. The great location with easy parking in the garage (free for 2 hours) makes it stress-free. 10/10 definitely recommend!

Cozy atmosphere, very welcoming, and great attention to detail! It's hard for me to find a haircut that works when I'm growing my hair out and Storm did a great job! Amazing experience, will definitely be getting my cuts here from now on.

Storm did a wonderful job on my past shoulder length, super dry, mostly curly hair. I am literally so happy with how it looks and also left my appointment with many more resources and tips on how i can sustain it. I very much recommend!

Storm is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the typical atmosphere of a barbershop. They pay attention to detail, make you feel comfortable to be yourself, and the scalp massage makes me so relaxed. I look forward to my next appointment the minute I leave the shop. Highly recommend!

I'm a bit of an awkward dweeb (like I won the Elden Ring Collective Speedrun, just ask Storm) so it can be tough for me to feel comfortable walking into the hustle and bustle of a modern barbershop. I typically don't enjoy letting humanoids use scissors and loud buzzing machines within a centimeter or two of my central processing unit, not to mention my exposed seeing and hearing modules. Part of me even questions the value of proper grooming given my reclusive gamer/programmer lifestyle. Storm is the only barber I've found who can accommodate my socially anxious needs while still doing an amazing job. I always leave with a smile on my face and my hair looking great! I can go into a little more detail. I had been trying to find a barber for a while. It's always an uncomfortable process for me and I have a pretty bad hairline so that complicates matters. I'm a simple guy, all I'm really looking for is shorter on the sides, longer on top, but in a way that LOOKS. GOOD. When I first sat down with Storm I started explaining EVERYTHING to them. "Well see how my hair does a zig zag zoopy doop over here and a bing bang boppy wopp right here and a curly swirly blahby blah so we need to cut it all rinky dink with a loopy doop so that I can shoopy shoop and make it look all boopy boop, does that make SENSE?!!" Storm gave me a little pat on the head, told me everything was going to be okay, and that haircuts like mine are their bread and butter. All I needed to do was get out the way and let the master work. And that's what I did--best haircut (and beard trim) ever!

Storm is a phenomenal haircutter in every sense - she's knowledgeable, talented, and friendly to all of her customers. I'm constantly impressed at her wide range of hair styling skills, and always gives me a good cut whenever I stop by. HIGHLY recommend. Also extremely knowledgeable about bugs, 12/10 great conversationalist.
