Oliver has always done an amazing job with my hair, is very responsive to my questions on suggestions, is very knowledgeable, and has great recommendations. I have been getting my hair cut with him for 7 years and it’s been the same level of quality service for all those years! He’s also cut friends and family’s hair, both men and women, hair and beards, and done blowouts for them as well. All his service are great!

I've been extremely satisfied with Oliver as my hairdresser for 5+ years. His attention to detail and professionalism is top notch and he puts great care into your appearance. He goes above and beyond at his job and really puts effort into getting to know you and what you're about so he can be in the best position to make you look your best. I’ve been extremely happy with my stylist Oliver! When he left the salon that was close to my house I tracked him down so I could continue having him style my hair. It’s hard to find a great stylist that you can trust and feel comfortable with!! He does a great job!! He’s very personable and keeps the shop very clean. Aldo takes great pride in his work!!

Oliver goes above and beyond! I have been coming to his salon since 2020 and the service, his expertise and attention to make sure you get what you want is EXCEPTIONAL!! Oliver not only gives you a very entertaining Hour as you chat about world events, but he goes as far as bringing you treats to share after the haircut. My first time it was Olive bread with fresh butter and then it was macaroons... We are both foodies and have a lot to talk about and he does an amazing job with my hair. I am always satisfied and have referred him to many friends.

I’ve been a client of Oliver’s for over 5yrs at this location, before he decided to now own his own salon The L Beauty Spot and Dry Bar Hair Salon. I’ve lived in the area for over 15yrs and have referred many of my closest friends to Oliver since we’ve met and am happy to say I’ll be able to refer many more to come!

I’ve been getting my haircuts by Oliver for four years now, since it was “Haircut City”. A few name changes later, and Oliver has perfected the business. He is very detailed-oriented and listens to what you want in a haircut and style. He will guide you through it and make good conversation along the way. I love the additional hot towel in the winter, cold towel in the summer. It’s a nice touch, and adds some relaxation during your haircut. The new set-up is great at The L Beauty Spot. Clean place, well-kept, and nice waiting area. Great location under the Diversey Brown Line station. Highly recommend. If you’re looking for a new hair stylist, Oliver is your guy.
