I had been looking for a nail salon in Liberty and sooo many people recommended Laquer room. The first time I went - BEST nails I've ever had. Unfortunately, there is zero consistency. The 2nd time, the nails were terrible and the shape was off. Some people have bad days and I was in a hurry, so I let it go. When I went the 3rd time, the nail tech even commented on HOW BAD my nails looked and asked where I got them done. I told her it was right here & she didn't seem surprised at all. After I left, I broke 2 nails that day, 2 nails the day after and by the time it was time for nails again, 5 had broken in total. I have RARELY ever had one nail break, and these FIVE broke doing absolutely NOTHING. Give them the benefit of the doubt & now its time for my fourth trip, I get a gentlemen who soaks my dip off but the old, BLACK, dip and glue is now stuck ALLLLL over my hands. My hands were literally black. He didn't even take all of the previous dip off of my nails! He just filed the old dip down and painted over it! The nails looked terrible but I was SHOCKED when he told me I was ready to go home - despite my hands being completely black and covered in glue. I let the receptionist know and he asked the guy take acetone to remove it from my hands. The tech then seemed irritated and told me all I had to do was go home and use soapy water to get it off...I told him that was crazy - I've been getting dip for 5 years and have never been asked to leave with black hands. He looked me dead in the eyes and said, "Never?" As if it's TOTALLY NORMAL TO EXPECT A CLIENT TO LEAVE THIS WAY. He didn't use soapy water as he suggested to me.. HE used acetone... removed about 3% of it, & said okay done. They were still totally black. After being told I could have removed it at home and then doing a half assed job, I was done. Another nail tech over heard all of this and came over and removed ALLLL the dip and glue off my hands and profusely apologized and blamed it on a language barrier. No ma'am.. he was clear - I should just leave the salon with black hands and wash them at home myself. There's no other way to interpret what he said. They gave me a 15% discount and I let them know that I won't be back. Very disappointing from such a highly recommended salon.

Aidan is by FAR the best nail tech I have ever had. So good I drove an hour so he could keep doing my nails. Amazing attention to detail, great attitude, and fantastic service at every step. Every color and style I ask for he can do and my nails are always shaped perfectly. Manicures last 3-4 weeks because of how perfect they are done. If you’re new to nails or The Laquer Room, I HIGHLY recommend giving Aidan a chance. 10/10 won’t trust anyone else to do my nails after him! (photo is from last set)

It’s be a while since I’ve been here. Was a regular, and always did a manicure, eyebrows combo. Nails were perfect, spot on. Eyebrows today not so much. I told her what I wanted, and I am very accommodating since brows are not perfect of course, but I asked for her to remove a little bit more hair, something more my style, and she denied it, and said I could do it myself because she wouldn’t do it, it would look funny. I asked if I could have a spoolie to brush my eyebrows, she handed one to me and I as I was looking in the mirror, she told me, she will not remove anymore hair and she will go back to work. First time that this happens. A little disappointed because she has done my lashes before and it was fine but I’m not sure what happened today with my eyebrows. Will come back just for nails next time. As a customer, all I am saying is that if I am paying for a service, at least remove my eyebrows they way I would like to have them, not they way she wants my eyebrows to look like.

Tracy did such a wonderful job on my nails!! She made them so perfect and payed attention to all of the things that other stylist (at other salons) haven’t pay attention to. Will definitely be coming back for her!!!

Amy is my go-to rockstar nail magician and beautiful friend. We have been together a decade and when she started at the lacquer room, she had never been happier. I love coming here and the staff is always wonderful. You can see how happy everyone is and the way they support each other on busy days is so wonderful. I always get the best care and feel valued. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been to the Lacquer Room a couple times now. Every time I have felt very rushed despite booking my appointments ahead of time. This past visit, my nail tech was blatantly checking the time and trying to get to her next client. She did not care about me at all. My nails were nothing like I wanted them and looked sloppy. I even showed her a picture and asked for specific colors and she flat out refused to give me what I want. I felt like I was constantly negotiating with her to get what I want. It was clear she wanted me in and out. Nail salons like this push you through like cattle and expect you to tip. Frustrating.

Soaked my fingers in a bowl.of hot polish remover...not good on skin let alone sensitive skin. Daughter was soaking for 30 minutes +, and her hands were covered in melted acrylic . Have never had this experience before. Had a 330 appointment walked out of there at 545. Nails looked OK for the price, but daughter was livid and, after soaking, decided she had had enough due to the melted goo all over her fingers. They said that was the way it was done... no cotton ball or foil to protect skin and avoid a sticky mess

It was nice but one of my friends ruined her big toe and got it fixed but they didn't care about my aunty who chipped her mani literally putting her shoes on. We all got full mani pedis of various types. They didn't help me match my picture at all. Wanted a certain looks for the wedding. I picked a great color but felt rushed picking them.

I’ve been a few times for pedicures and dip manicure. This is the best (mostly quiet/calm) environment in a nail salon that I’ve experienced in Liberty. However, the first two times I went, I made appointments and they were running way behind- I didn’t get seen until 25-30 minutes after my appointment time. Was there for over two hours both times and it was a little off-putting to me that I made an appointment and was punctual but they were so late. This time I was seen on time which was a nice surprise but then felt incredibly rushed through the whole appointment. She barely massaged at all during the pedicure. My parrafin wax hadn’t dried before she removed it. I got a dip manicure and pedicure in less than an hour and a half. Which I guess, props to her for being quick, but I would have enjoyed my pedicure a little more with more care and not feeling like she was in a hurry the whole time. She had another client seated and waiting for her before my pedicure finished. Also, I reeeally dislike the way they soak off dip manicures (sticking your hands in a bowl/baggie of acetone). I’ve never seen that done at another salon and the chemical reaction is hot and kind of uncomfortable, not to mention messy. It makes my hands feel so dry afterward too. Not sure why they can’t do acetone/cotton/foil which seems way nicer to me. I will likely be back anyway because I haven’t found a better spot in Liberty. They are busy because they do a good job (my nails always look great) and I know there are things that can’t be controlled (like people showing up late), but maybe need to work on time management and please change the way they soak off dip manicures.

This is the best place to get your nails done. They offer a large variety of services at reasonable rates. I never go anywhere else, I've been going to Roxanne and her mom Tracy for years. The entire staff is super nice and they all do a great job.

been coming here -approx 5+ years-every 3 weeks. ive never be en picky about who i see. this last couple times just scheduling over the phone has been ridiculous, no appointments for days at a time? but then i can walk in and you can work me in? tell me that on the phone because to me it seems personal that i cant get a time. taking a break from the laquer room. techs do a great job, but scheduling (boo).

personally did not have a good experience. booked for a soak off and manicure and almost passed out because of the fumes in there. after the soak off, my manicure chipped on multiple nails less than 24 hours later. i also booked the appointment for 11 and didn’t get taken back until 11:30. i really dislike complaining about things but personally it was a bad experience. don’t recommend :(
