I have exclusively been seeing Mish for all my hair needs since 2014... and I'll never see anyone else. She is a consummate professional and understands hair like no one else I've been with. I always say that's she's more than a stylist, she is a hair *physician*- she brought my breaking, lifeless pre-2014 locks back to life, and I have never looked back. She balances what I want with what is actually good for my hair, and is never about the upsell that you find in so many salons. I followed her from her old salon to this beautiful new space that is her own, and if she moves again, you can bet I'll go with her there too!

I have extremely (naturally) curly hair. It is difficult to cut properly, and difficult to color properly. I've had some absolute disasters in my past! I ended up making an appointment with Mish a few years ago after seeing a review online that said she was the curly hair whisperer. And I'll be forever glad I did! She literally brought my hair back to life. The color, highlights and cut are always perfect. She's a consummate professional and the most talented stylist I've ever seen. And a lovely person to boot. My mom, who I inherited my curls from, now goes to Mish as well. We both love her. I could not recommend her more for my curly-haired brethren or anyone, really.

I've been going to Mish for over 6 years now. She has the amazing ability of matching your hair color to whatever photo you show her. If your hair is damaged (like mine was) she will not upsale you but give you a timeline how long it will take to achieve the desired color without further damage. Before her, I've gone to 5 different hairstylists for caramel highlights on a dark brown hair. My hair was fried and frizzy with extensive breakage without highlights. For about 6 years now I've been able to maintain healthy light brown hair with blond highlights. I've notified her that wherever she moves to, I'm going with her : ) The salon is freshly remodeled, modern and clean. The garage doors allows for fresh air circulation. All towels and aprons used in the hair color were disposable. I was the only customer at the time of my appointment. The next customer waited outside until I left the salon. Everyone wore masks. Definitely felt safe and great to get a color refresh after the pandemic lockdown.

Mish is a miracle worker! She is meticulous about her client's hair and has transformed my hair from a mess of different colors into a style that is sleek, natural-looking, and healthy. You really get what you pay for when you go to Mish and I can't recommend her enough!

I have been going to Mish for almost 4 years. I spent a long time trying to find a stylist that really understood great color in Portland, and I found exactly what I needed and wanted with Mish. She is truly an artist, creating great pallets of all colors and styles. I tend to favor the reds, pinks and purples, which are difficult to make look real and inspiring at the same time. When I see Mish, she listens to what I'm looking for and creates a work of art that takes my breath away every time I walk out of the salon. I travel a ton for work and have yet to take a trip to anywhere in the world where I haven't had someone stop me to say "I love your hair. Where do you get it done?" I sing her praises each time. So, take advantage of the finest hair colorist in Portland...Mish is now known the world over!

WOW. I seriously can't say enough amazing things about Mish. I've been going to see her for YEARS and have always walked away so happy and excited with the new look. I get compliments on my haircut every time! My favorite part about my visits with Mish is the feedback and education I get. I'll show her a picture and she'll tell me if my hair will do this or cooperate that way. She shows me how to blow dry my hair to make it do what I want. Trust me, I've had some serious hair cuts that could have gone terribly wrong...but NOT with Mish behind the scissors. See her for the haircut of your dreams! Also, check out all the reviews on her booking website and on Yelp. They DO NOT LIE about this women's talent. Crazy good.
