I recently had the pleasure of visiting David at The Lane. it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. David is a true artist! He is is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and attentive. I had been growing out a mohawk and looking to go for a more corporate and professional look, and he was able to take a total disaster and turn it into a beautiful haircut and style which i ahve already received many compliments on!

Outstanding experience at The Lane with Lindsey! She listened to my concerns and requests, helping me understand what cut would work best. 10/10 collaboration and execution of my cut from scraggly and long to a super cute, bouncy, short style. Absolutely recommend a cut/style here.

I had such a great experience receiving a curly cut by Frank. It was my first time getting a curly cut outside of my normal salon, however, he handled my curls with such care and made great suggestions on layering for my cut. Cute salon and friendly environment as well- I will be coming back :)

Lacey was incredible! I had some grown out bangs I’d been trying to blend into my hair while they grow and Lacey did it perfectly. She really understood what I was hoping for later and how to make it manageable while we grown them out. Best stylist I’ve been to in years!

I had a really bad experience re. coloring with Becca: the color was very different from what I requested. Furthermore, after highlight she added another layer which was unclear whether it was toner or glaze or something else, but my hair quality is completely ruined. Other hairdressers state there's a weird layer on my hair and tried to use clarifying shampoo, but nothing worked. Only option is waiting till new hair grows - which can literally take years. It should not be legal to ruin someone's hair.

I had a wonderful experience getting my hair cut and styled by Lindsey. She made me feel so supported for a big change in my hairstyle and executed it with great skill. I will be coming back as long as I live in San Francisco, thank you Lindsey! (Plus the tea was delicious!)

Lindsey was stylist and I LOVED her!!! I am always skeptical when trying someone new as I have curly hair and have had many not great haircuts. But when I find someone that can cut my hair AND is a great and just nice person to chat with, it's a double win. I travel for work and change locations every 3 months but if I am ever back in the area, I will definitely come back here. Highly recommend Lindsey for cutting curls well.

Super cute and welcoming salon featuring my favorite stylist, David Yepremian. David is a special kind of human- Not only is he crazy talented and can replicate any style you’re in love with, but he does it with such calmness, such confidence and he’s got the most balanced, positive energy. Sitting in his chair is like reminiscing with an old friend. I recently came in with a grand idea to chop off about 12” inches of hair and he not only helped prepare my hair to later donate, he gave me THE BEST and most refreshing cut!! I look and feel like a new person. Also, he gives a great scalp massage (my favorite part of the deal next to being around him). As for the space itself, I love how bright, clean and organized it is.

Lacey was great, spending the time to get to know me and the type of cut I wanted (fringe or no, length, goals, etc). It was a precision cut, taking the time to add texture with scissors and getting things just right. I loved how it came out, and am confident it will grow out well. I was so happy with the cut, I scheduled my next cut before the holidays at the end of our session.

Lindsey is great with hair! Definitely highly recommend. I have typical Asian hair and she worked well with it, 3 times already, each time grows out nicely even after couple of weeks (short hair, I have seen plenty of good cuts grow horns as they get longer). Just an hour long session, great attention to details, slightly expensive but well worth the investment for someone who needs to look professional almost all the time at work. Environment is nice, neighborhood is quiet, street parking.

Loved everything about this place. I could tell right away that the salon has a lot of talent but it is not pretentious. Everyone I interacted with was very pleasant and helpful. I was looking for a short cut after many years of long hair and Ali made this transformation absolutely joyful. I am very happy with my cut even after I styled it myself and I will be going only to Ali from now on. Separately, I really appreciated how he supported me growing out my greys.

I am 74 years old, and with all these years behind me, I have certainly been to plenty of hair stylists. Todd does better things with my hair than anyone else I have ever been to. He listens to what I want, and executes with care, know how, and a great disposition. He is just such a lovely person, so not only do I get a great haircut, but I have a very good time hanging out with him!

New to the Lane Salon after many years with the same stylist in S.F. Lane was recommended by my previous person (Glenn Michael) and I am very pleased with the salon and Lindsey as the new stylist for both me and my son! Fine cutting, great vibe, pleasant all around!
